3) Spanish: el Bitcoin
4) Scottish: Och Bitcoin, have yer got 10p?

"The Bitcoin" is wrong, but not as wrong as "BitCoin".
It depends, are you talking about the US Dollar, dollars, bitcoins, or the Bitcoin?
Not rocket science, but subtle enough to be missed by some.

Bitcoin is a noun or a name, so just treat it like that, saying something like "I would like to talk to you about this The Bitcoin thing" isn't going to make sense is it?

I've always said just "Bitcoin".
