"The Bitcoin" is wrong, but not as wrong as "BitCoin".

It depends, are you talking about the US Dollar, dollars, bitcoins, or the Bitcoin?

Not rocket science, but subtle enough to be missed by some.

It's all fun and games until somebody loses an eye
Jamacians should say "Me Bitcoin"
French: "Le Bitcoin"
English Hooligans: "Bitcoin! Bitcoin! Bitcoin! Oi! Oi! Oi!"
US: "BitCoiiiiiyyyn"

and so on... more on request, just PM me

The French of course pronounce it the french way, an American writing what they hear would write: "Luh beet-kwahn".

Bitcoin is a noun or a name, so just treat it like that, saying something like "I would like to talk to you about this The Bitcoin thing" isn't going to make sense is it? Tongue

What is the proper way to say Bitcoin? "Bitcoin"? Or "The Bitcoin"?

I've always said just "Bitcoin".

But yesterday I heard one person stating it as "the bitcoin". It sounded weird to me that way.
