What's the point in telling anyone else about it? You'd be doing yourself a favour by keeping it to yourself. Most people don't want to know. Let them remain that way.

The best way to educate people about bitcoins is to show them this forum and ask them to spend time here on daily basis and that will give them all the best knowledge and all the happenings in bitcoin world and they will also come to know about other altcoins too which can add more value to their knowledge.
Sorry that is asking WAY TOO MUCH of a new person that knows nothing.  Daily reading?  You must be joking.

For my suggestion about one easier way of educating people about Bitcoin is through online media.
Through facebook, twitters and other online media.
We can also do it by one in one chat or seminer.
FB and twitter are known as the origin of fake news, Flat Earth Theory, snowflakes, and the stupidest fake crap on the internet.  Bad idea.  I need reputable education links.

Bitcointalk.org <- That is the best single link to educate people about bitcoin that is all around forum and all in one package, people can learn what is bitcoin, how to get started, what are the basic things to know, what are the basic source of bitcoin and also interact with the co bitcoin users around the globe. If you didn't agree with me then the single best link that you are looking for will be impossible because you will be needing a lot of links just to educate people.
Wrong.  Anyone visiting Bitcointalk.org is overwhelmed with too much information and no single page to read.  No new has that kind of time or attention for a subject they did not ask to learn about.

I have few favorite videos which explain about bitcoin and they stay neutral about bitcoin, however i think it's a bit difficult for non-geek users.

Bitcoin: How Cryptocurrencies Work : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kubGCSj5y3k
Bitcoin, Dogecoin and Other Cryptocurrencies as Fast As Possible (outdated info) : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u4j__TKnCt4

https://www.bitcoin.com/ isn't bad either, but i don't like that website since they're not neutral.
THANK YOU!  That is the type of effective, direct information link I am asking for.

Al Jazeera is Islamic or Muslim, and they support the recent terror attacks in London, so fuck them.  I'm not trying to support or enforce ISIS.

Also, you can read interesting articles on this site: https://cointelegraph.com/tags/bitcoin

The biggest mistake someone could make, is to introduce a newbie to Bitcoin and just to re-direct them to a website where there are no two way communication. A websites will give information, but the newbie will still have questions and he will never know if the information posted on the site is 100% accurate.

My best resource when I started out with Bitcoin was this forum : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0 because 90% of all questions was already answered in that section and if I did not understand something, I could just ask.

There are many knowledgeable users in the Newbie and Help section that are giving excellent answers to the many questions that are being asked daily.

i think the best link that we can give to new people is bitcoin.org/en/ because in that site, we can found many good article and this is what new people need. beside that, i think we can suggested a video that available in youtube so new people can learning more about bitcoin and they can watched many video from the beginning bitcoin created until now and they can learn about blockchain technology too. i think, new people need to find by them so they can fill what they want to know, we can only suggest them about the links but they should find by their own self.

It's not really the best article now but its the one that made the most sense to me when I first started Bitcoin back in the day and I kept it as a reference ever since.

Well, I don't know why wiki website doesn't fits to you, because there we can find lot of useful information for beginners. Ok, then I can advise bitcoin.org. These who said that's official bitcoin website isn't right, because bitcoin don't have official website. Users there can find all necessary information, starting from basics and finnishing with more complicated things.
If you want to avoid websites which paint bitcoin in negative light, you have to avoid all news media websites, even these which writing only about cryptocurrencies.
But I think that newbies also have to know about some drawbacks of bitcoin and dangers in crypotucurrency world.

What is the one single best link to Educate uninformed people about bitcoin?
Qualitifactions:
  • Must be a reputable website.  (not wiki-anything, not Facebook, not a blog)
  • Must explain that Bitcoin is real, and a currency.  (Yes seriously this is a common question)
  • Must paint Bitcoin in a Positive light, unlike CNN Money saying it is used for drugs.

Why?
Because I want to make a large purchase, and every person I talk to says "Bit Clonk? What the heck is that?   Is that a scam?  Can I exchange it for US dollars?   I heard you can't exchange it!   Why don't YOU convert it and just give me the cash?"

https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf

That's a simple, reliable and useful link for you. And it gives a full explanation about bitcoin.

Bitcoin is not a scam but it looks like your close people is a lack of knowledge about bitcoin. I remember a lot of my friends are calling it a ponzi coin. After they're learning about bitcoin and they understand what it is. And try to joining on the crypto.

You must remember if bitcoin is a complete digital payment method. If you're saying bitcoin as a currency and they'll laugh at you. Common people will not be saying it as a currency caused by there is no regulation or legitimation supporting bitcoin as a currency.

Avoid to talking about the status of bitcoin in the country.

I don't think you can get a much better website than the official one bitcoin.org.  It gives reasonably simple explanations for what Bitcoin is and how to use it.  Sometimes it's good to just ignore all the comments about drugs and illegal activity and just explain simply what it is like the website does.  People usually understand.
Bitcoin talk is good site, but it consists from different kinds of opinions and sometimes this opinions are not so wise and it simply can make a newbie confused. I would recommend to find a site in your native language something like bitcoin news. On such sites usually there are not only news, but basic information about bitcoin and Blockchain technology.

I'd have to say this is one of the toughest things when it comes to Bitcoin because when people hear about it the only thing that they hear is that it's this crazy online coin that is anonymous and used by people to buy and sell drugs. This is something that the MSM (Mainstream Media) put out in order to get people to think this was what Bitcoin was entirely, as we know this is only a small portion of what people do on Bitcoin.

And I think it's insane when people come out and say we should ban Bitcoin cause people use it for illegal uses. Like OK? Don't people use every single currency on earth for some sort of illegal use at some point, that's one of the shittiest arguments someone can make.

Khan academy link is good though, that has a series of videos and is really good help.

Leave no FUD unchallenged
I've tried to make my own Bitcoin site as useful a resource as possible for newbies.  I try to explain the reasons why people should care, along with covering some of the basic technical stuff.  I still worry that it's a bit overly verbose, but that's pretty much par for the course for me:

http://www.wearedecentralised.co.uk/bitcoinforbeginners/

//EDIT:  Also, the ethos of the site is to encourage new users to take responsibility for looking after their own private keys, which is why web-wallets are barely mentioned and exchanges are discouraged as a sort of last resort.

The beginner and bitcoin discussion part of this forum is a pretty solid bet it will bring up more  links to further your education in bitcoin. I think this site is the only link you really need and everything else will simply follow.

You should open a poll after you collected a few answers and see that way.

I've always given this link to some of my close friends and acquaintances whenever they ask me about what bitcoin is. I am bad at explaining things and I often resort to technical jargon and stuff, and ultimately they won't ubderstand a bit of my explanation. This article is 3 years old, but it still gets you a pretty decent overview of what bitcoin really is without much technicality.

This does an "ok" job of explaining how bitcoin works(if I'm remembering right, I don't remember it well).

Its from KhanAcademy and is a series of video lectures which illustrate the basic principles of how bitcoin functions.

Winner is defined by the first person with the best and most usable link I can give to people who ask me what is Bitcoin.
Winner gets to ask me any Bitcoin related question and I will do my best to answer.  Even stupid questions are accepted.
