It looks like ETH will be 1000 USD in April, or May the latest.

If so, I think ethereum may rise like bitcoin from $300 to $5000 in the long term, that will lead to sharp increase in price for sure
Ethereum will be rising the price soon, I think there will be more devlopment to happen on this coin. Im expecting and hope Eth will be in move and will increase the price.

I think so. It could be $1000 in 12 months.

Ethereum is one of the most competitors invest coin. This is highly improved in market. My opinion is both are unpredictable. We don't decide the market status. In digital market which coin is fast moving in competitor is best in market. So this is one of the good stuff coin. This is increasing in twice the range of customer and currency value is possible in future.

Vitalik has said that after the PoS system has been implemented no more tokens will be generated or created. After the POS mining will become irrelevant and no one will be interested in mining Ethereum. They will all try to buy ETH from the other hand to make sure that they have enough stacked up, in order to validate transactions and receive some of that transaction fees directly to their wallet. So miners will be replaced by validators or common people holding ETH and locking it up and in that way the entire network will become very decentralized and attract even more attention from people and respect from other coins. That's a big issue nowadays, everyone is talking about decentralization but no one implements it.

Circulating supply is 95,292,838 ETH according to coinmarketcap.com
I read somewhere that they are producing 18 million ETH per year.
So, when is this going to end and how many ETH in total will we have?
Now that we have this byz fork, do you expect ETH prices to rise soon and why?

It can be an octilion or octilion octilions they can print as much as they want to take your money from what i understand.

you are so wrong my friend . there are many article on web . just google it and read them please.
mining will stop next year. ETH s gonna be a POS coin. minimum eth for pos is 1000 eth . Transactions will be more safety and faster.
Its gonna be about 100 million eth  as total supply ( not sure but more less is around 100 million. for sure not 1 billion  Wink )

if ETH start to be POS coin price will pumped fast and will break 1,000$ soon so that many now invest on it

The more it will be and the price can increase at times. Any coin will not be infinite, the exact number will not be called. But the ETH will not end as fast as bitcoin which is already on the verge.

According to the latest "casper" documents by Ethereum, the amount to POS is going to be 32 ETH. The amount 1000 ETH was mentioned earlier in time when the value of Ethereum was considerably lower. The purpose is to let anyone POS with a small investment (or they'll be grouped in pools).

They can't issue unlimited ethereum, no it's wrong. Ethereum is limited in supply and miners produce this. Some portion will be spent after transactions, spent as fee and gwei.

Yes the miners are the ones making all the profit and just recently the miners reward has been reduced, that is why there want to change it to POS, for Ethereum developers to be able to get their own share of the cake.

And yet, Vitalik Buterin proposed to "burn" part of the coins.
Thus, they want to fight inflation.

Where did he propose that? I must have missed that news.
I hope Ethereum will go to PoS stage as soon as possible. Hodlers should be rewarded, not miners.

I think its still a speculation from buterin and its not yet final.

Quote
Ethereum’s wunderkind has no shortage of priorities, and in a new surprise interview, he declared one of his main goals is implementing a new burning system for ether. Buterin suggests “sinks,” or fees that will be destroyed.

As I am sure many people will point out (and some already have) ... This guy has literally NO IDEA what he is talking about.

PoW mining has very few remaining days left for ETH. Difficulty will continue to increase until ETH transitions to PoS. ETH will transition to PoS in the near future (in 2018) and will have very few new minted coins after that occurs.
