If you are tending to send out some coins into other account then you would primarily need that wallet address of receiver which means you do need to seek the destination address just like on sending money from bank to bank transfers where you basically needing an account no. Which is on the same concept here on crypto.

Next step is to go into your wallet that had been used whatever it maybe and find recieve tab or deposit which would give out a designated address.Copy it and paste it on the wallet on where you do make the transaction.

Be careful with error on copying and pasting. One character is lost or a mistake will cause a problem or simply you will lose your funds

I will suggest please learn before you make a transaction. Because if you aren't familiar with the crypto-currency transaction then there is a risk of losing funds. So please study as much as possible. You may ask YouTube or Google what you need to learn. But keep in mind, just follow them for learning purposes. Don't believe them blindly, because we don't know who is a fraud and who is good. For more help, you may read an article about USDT in coinbase: https://help.coinbase.com/en/coinbase/getting-started/crypto-education/USDT

Make sure you are making the transaction in Ethereum (ERC20) network. Because coinbase does not support any other network for USDT transactions. This means if you send a transaction in another chain instead of ERC20 to coinbase then you will lose funds forever. Although a few exchanges detect address automatically, but not all and we don't know from where are you going to send funds.

I dont know which wallet or wallet is the name of the wallet that you wanted to use.  But I think they have almost the same feature that a "Recieve" and "Send" tab/button.

In the "Recieve" tab on your wallet, you find out there the wallet address, most commonly it's a QR code, and below you can copy the address.  And in the "Send" option, that's the option you can transfer your fund into other wallets.

I suggest you have research on Youtube for a video tutorial of which wallet you have used, remember that cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible and it means you can't undo the transaction once you hit the send button.

A wallet address acts more like a bank account number in simple terms. With that information fed into your sending account, one can know where to send money to.

Each asset you plan to transfer has its own type of address, therefore follow the instruction in the link provided above on how you can generate and copy such addresses in coinbase.

A description is just a simple note you add right before creating a transaction so that It can help you know where or why you sent the funds, it could be bills, beer, coinbase etc. It's good for records keeping.

Block halving is coming.
What wallet do you use?

Do you mean you want to send USDT to Coinbase wallet?

You can find it on crypto addresses/portfolio and look for USDT and find the receive tab.

I think it would be better if you follow the steps that Coinbase provided from here https://help.coinbase.com/en/coinbase/getting-started/crypto-education/where-is-my-wallet-address

I am brand new to all of this.  But I need to transfer USDT from one account to my coinbase account.  To do this, it seems, I need to add information on the origins page.  This information is about a wallet where I want the funds to go.  To do this, I need to put in the "Wallet Address" and Wallet Description.  What is the Wallet Address and where do I get it or find it?
