A friend sent me this, but he didnt tell me what website was this ?

Do any of you know this website ? Seems like a scam or something idk

I don't see any suspecting tracker involvement in the link or page, it is a website that allows you to upload images.
This image is showing a screen shot of localbitcoins account balance, may be your friend didn't want you to know his account balance. You can also use this website whenevee you need to share images, screen shots to your friends

I think you should not ask about it in this forum, check it by your self and find the true information by research on google. For me it's look like problem, never click, follow or share with others. Think what you done before something wrong happen, be careful and I hope you'll learn something about this.

Some people here are being so rude, OP is just posing a link of a screenshot that he uploaded in lightshot. If you are not familiar with the site you can't just say that it is something like a phishing or link with virus or malware. Btw the site that is in the screenshot is localbitcoins, this is the link to their oficial website https://localbitcoins.com/ this site allows you to buy and sell Bitcoins using your bank account or remittance, localbitcoin is just like an escrow so they are not the one who will pay you if you sell your Bitcoins, it is a direct trade with other people that is interested to buy cryptocurrency from you.

It is seems like a referral link!
that's so noob , I don't think it's gonna work for you!
I'm also not seeing any referral link and yes its localbitcoins which is legit. But as @TryNinja have said if maybe fake screenshot and the potential scammer is just using it.

So you need to be very careful and cautious and your dealing specially if you are a total newbie in this kind of field. And why would your friend doesn't want to send you the link though? If its legit then I'm sure there's nothing to be afraid of.

Referral link? Which you think is the referral think, OP is posting a screenshot here. Dont you familiar with lightshot? The link is clearly from lightshot which is screenshot that being asked by OP. Can you insert a referral link on a lightshot image link? Or is there any affiliate earning from lightshot?
So who is noob here? LOL

The screenshot showing a page of localbitcoins.com, it is a trusted site imho.

That's the website: https://localbitcoins.net/

Why did he sent you this screenshot? The site is legit, but the screenshot may be fake. If he is trying to sell you BTC and claimed to have this amount, he might be trying to scam you with a fake screenshot.

Are you from Brazil? (the picture is in Portuguese). You can PM me anytime if you need some help.

If you are scammed by that sh*t it's your fault and yours alone cause you already involved yourself in that website you should ask first and not move first before you ask that's a shitty method of yours. I know I'm a bit harsh but what could is say your being ignorant.

Lol. A brand new account? I wouldn't check that website that's for sure.

Why don't you do your own research and see if that is a scam site or not? Or better just post the name of the website here and we can dig further about it.

But if you are not sure then don't invest anything on it because there are literally thousands of scammers out there and crypto or bitcoin are not a way to get rich very quick, remember that.

I usually understand the hostility towards new users when they post links, but this is just a link to the printscreen website where people put photos. If you were to click on the link you'd see that it's just a picture of the localbitcoins site.

So yeah dude, that's local Bitcoins. It's a peer to peer service to buy bitcoins with LBC acting as an escrow of coins, pretty solid website. Check them out alongside paxful. Goodluck!
