Also he didnt steal 1,3 million USD he stole bitcoins

Not to mention, the bitcoins he stole are worth much, much more than 1.3 million USD.

Don't hurt your elbow patting yourself on the back there Wink

Somebody needs to do it.  All I got when I said he was a thief was a raft of shit.  People don't appreciate good Samaritans these days...

Was this you when you read the news?

Quote from other thread (linked above), seems more appropriate to continue here:

Give a trusted forum member encrypted instructions & passwords, and a family member the decryption key & the trusted forum member's email address?
That actually sounds like a great solution. Thanks, I'll work on that!

So, did you have time to look into it?

He's running an HYIP. 27% yearly interest on a deflationary currency is definitely HYIP territory. Maybe he runs a loan sharking operation?
Nope, there is business behind it. AKA we lend out at >27% a year, mostly secured.

He doesn't currently have a deadman's switch. See here:

People covered many topics in that thread. It'll make you think.

I read it when it was going on - I agree it's good reading (it's actually Deprived's logic of the risk of fiat-exposed businesses that made a lot of sense to me and made me look for something else than mining stocks), but I don't see how it answers my question... I just skimmed through it again just to be sure - maybe I'm missing your point?

BTW I forgot to mention, I PMed TradeFortress signalling this thread to him yesterday, so he knows it's here

Bitcoin: money chosen by the market.
I've been lurking here for some time and studied carefully where to invest my bitcoins, and I've come to the conclusion some of the best bets for small investers like me are coinlenders.com and BTCINVEST on bitfunder, both operated by TradeFortress. I'm ready to give him my bitcoins. There's only one thing I need an answer to, it's not nice to ask I know but it's something that has to be planned for: does he have a deadman's switch? I.e. what happens to his business in case of unexpected health problems. This is of concern IMHO since it seems both coinlenders and BTCINVEST are single-handedly operated by him

But if something happens to Dabs, Tradefortress and me all at the same time

well that's 3 orders of magnitude less likely, already much better

Jack of oh so many trades.
Dabs has a dead man's switch for his lotto, with Tradefortress as one of the people to handle his estate and me as a bearer of bad news to the forum in the event something should happen to him.

I'd be happy to handle Tradefortress's obit via DMS as well  Grin

But if something happens to Dabs, Tradefortress and me all at the same time, will anyone know?!
