I setup some new miners in the last few days. Hopping pools finding which one I like the best.

For mtred to work, I had to bypass the DNS and use the IP for pa.mtred.com for my miner to connect. May have been apart of their problems the past few days.

I am still  having a problem though, Their site says my miner is running at 400mh but on my phoenix miner I have a stable 802mh. Why the large difference? It's been mining for 3 days now and I see the rate update on the website but why is it so drastically different?

Does anyone know, if they are still having problems? On the thread in the pools forums (which i can't post in) it seems like they sorted it out..

I had problems connecting to MtRed months ago, so I switched to BitParking (from reading another redditor's comment in /r/mtred).  The site was up just last night, I believe.

I was hoping to use an extra computer to mine there, and I have been trying to reinstall Windows on an old laptop for this purpose -- I can't Linux well, and when I tried Mint and Diablo Miner, I got some message saying that OpenCL wasn't installed or something, even after following the directions from Google.
I have been having these problems also..
Try installing the new Catalyst 13.2 B7 drivers, they are faster than 13.1.
But it only installs OpenCL 64 by default.. you have to go into
C:\INSTALL\AMD\AMD_Catalyst_13.2_Beta7\Packages\Apps\OpenCL\  and install OpenCL.msi for it to be able to mine.

I'm a mt. red member, I've never had any problems with it, personally.

Just like the topic says.

Can't seem to find any information on this. Not even on Reddit. Mt.Red is "Mining Team Reddit" reddits pool.

I used the Mining Team Reddit (Mt.Red) Pool for about a week. They were not the best pool, but they were paying high PPS rate and I like reddit so I figured I would go there.

I tried to withdraw my account when the new difficulty hit (4,356,100whatever) and it said "Payment is disabled for maintenance"
Then I went back a few days later and it was the same.

Now, for the past 2-3 days, Mtred.com is completely dead/down.... (Downforeveryoneorjustme.com confirms this)

Question? Did they abscond with everyones earnings, as everyone was likely trying to withdraw at that single solitary moment that diff changed (like a bank run), or is there a logical explanation for this.

Thanks for any info.

AH i found some info..... It was in this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=15929.860
