Depends on when the 3d MA/EMA cross over. Bears are dumping all their coins to stop this from happening.
When the crossover happens we well go to an ATH in 2015 making $400 possible this year.
However the crossover could be postponed to the end of this year.
2015 will be very interesting Smiley

I think the value of 1  bitcoin  by the end of year  will be between ~ 300 and 400 dollars, but I hope to see it  *near* ~ 500-600 dollars.

Around 320 USD, i think.
I assume at the end of the year, some people will sell their BTC so that they can buy christmasgifts, which might have a small influence on the price.

You hopeless optimists. The value of (very risky) investments can go down, particularly in a 21 day window.
You all assume that the value will definitely rise over those three weeks.

Around $400-$350.

I think we're still in the decline that will go on for at least until end of this year.

After that I expect a very slow rebound... No rally in sight for at least 6 months.

Of course this is based on the premise that there will be no exceptionally good/bad news...

$26,000

I hope you are right!! xD But why do you think it will reach $26,000? Is it because of the news about paypal?
(I think it will just continue around $500 until next year :/ )

because people are starting to think it can't, because most people think as you do - and as i do - that this is it and it will just do nothing for the next year... and it might... it might take years,  but in the end its surely inevitable

Ha, I'd be willing to bet that most bears actually do know when to buy back into a clear bull market. If they see a clear chance to profit, they will do so. Not all bears are perma-bears, some are just accepting the facts Cheesy

Try to say you that value of 1 BTC for the end of year will be 850$. I think that in the month of October/November there will be a bubble which will come from Paypal, Ebay ecc and price will rise up to 1000-1300$.

We could recover to around $600 by the end of this year. Big events like launch of ETF could help take it even higher.

At the end of this year? I was already posting in some other threads that I'm having a bearish day and was proclaiming $250, but I really don't hope that. And after reading some news and thoughts of people I got a bit more optimistic. So maybe $700?

I doubt it will really bubble until after the silk road trial and the Mt Gox bankruptcy hearings, when the bitcoins have been sold. I think it will be at least Christmas until the silk road trial concludes, and longer for the Mt Gox bankruptcy because they extended it. I guess the value of 1 BTC in end of the year will be a lot less than now.
