Last time I used XAPO there was no need for a verification to transfer frunds from wallet to an external btc address. Is this different now? If it is then it sucks.
I sent 0.55 btc to an external address with a priority charge, but more than 24 hours transaction status is just "Validating", what should I do? Whether I cancel transsaction and send in small quantities?
After you send money then you need to login into your mobile wallet and approve your transaction. Did you do that step after you send? If you don't complete this step then they will not complete your transaction.
If still validating then better you cancel the transaction and try to send a small amount to any other address or same address. I'm using this wallet for years and never had any issues except for some time high transaction fee.

Is this your first transaction?
Xapo has this pain in the arse security feature where they will first asses the risk level of each transaction in order to avoid any unathorized ones. I don't know how they're doing it or on what basis but If I were a part of the the risk team, large amount withdrawals would get more attention rather than the small amounts so what you're suggesting could possibly help (although I can't guarantee it) However, it would also be weird if there are a lot of small withdrawals in a short period of time, better not do it in one go.
It is frequently another verification if ever an account gets flagged.

Sure. They're all withdrawals.
I joined Xapo for the card. I did not put one satoshi in without being fully verified, even if that wasn't de rigeur at the time. It's not worth the risk of them shutting you down and giving you the runaround.

There's an option for those who cannot log in. You could use that even if your problem doesn't fit to any of the listed category, there might be a chance they'll read it.
