Honestly? I dont even know anymore. I had a decent amount of BTC for a beginner around ~2016-2017, and was riding the bullish trend that was there in 2017. Then I spend 70% of what I had on stuff that I didnt really need, but thought that I might as well, as bitcoin's value was decreasing pretty rapidly from the value that I had got them at initially, but then 2020 saw a huge surge.

However, I feel like the COVID-19 pandemic might have definitely had an impact and might be the reason for the bullish trend in BTC, but it will slow down and flatten during mid-2021, and even out around 32-37k USD, which is better for the long run, as short bursts and bubbles cause value to suddenly drop also, as we have seen numerous times in the past

I believe bitcoin will be doing great this year as well. Many people think that just because 2017 was a great year and 2018 was a horrible year, they think 2020 was a great year so 2021 will be a horrible year as well. I do not believe that, just because 2018 was a bad year doesn't mean 2021 will be neither, I think it will be the opposite, it will be even a better year.

I believe this year bitcoin will go over 40k, and even go over 50k as well, we may end up with around 60k or so by the end of the year which would be nearly the nasdaq market cap levels, still a bit way to go but it would be closer at least. That is where I see bitcoin price will be like. Since the huge corporations are getting into bitcoin with billions, I doubt that we would ever have a bad year like that ever again, we are not going to end up with such a fall because they will end up buying to keep us afloat.

There are big names in crypto who says it could be more than $200K, I can't remember the exact amount but lots of articles speculating BTC since last month. But let's say it's worth $100K.

YouTubers can sometimes very convincing when they say miners only getting 6BTC per block is not making the price down anymore.
Do you think there will still be a long bear market after considering that the regulations are here already like cryptocurrency is being adopted anywhere?

Everybody knows its 100k 2021
Everybody knows
$100k this year!

We all like that to happen and it's still a long year and a lot of things are on their way. Corrections, dips, emotional dropping, and panics will come to most of us.

But the strongest hands will win and deserve to have it on $100k.

My genuine prediction to bitcoin price to this year 2021 is that bitcoin will peak at $70k if in case the bull season will continue and there will be no big setbacks or decrease of bitcoin price.

Once the bitcoin price will hit's it peak price or it's highest ATH record which is $70k as for my prediction then it will continue to goes down again but I am expecting that it will not go below $20k even in the bear season.

Many is more aware now that crypto exist and that many potential investors are eyeing or already in crypto. Top companies will be joining in these era of investment like what other companies did last year. We may able to see more spike in prices when other companies acknowledge the potential and usefulness that crypto can give in their portfolios. Hopefully also in altcoins there will be a massive adoption these year.

OP, a peak-price of 6 digits, or near 6 digits on June/July, before another major crash to $40,000 - $45,000. Cool

I have noticed that the current predictions in the topic are of prices that were considred "daring" during the middle of 2020. I believe there was only a handful of people in the forum believed a 6-digit price was possible.

It's very hard to predict bitcoin's price movements most of the time, many people can try to get something close to it, but the market is such that it works in an unpredictable way, many didn't think it'd get to 30k, but it did and even passed. It is therefore difficult to predict in my own opinion and, of course, no one knows, but as it stands now, it looks hard for bitcoin to drop to as low as $10k, but whatever crypto investment you want to do, do it wisely and not because of price predictions.

Conservative estimates? I would say $50,000.

Top? 6 digits figure, it might take 12-24 months before we can get to it. And then everything blows off, whether it will hold and sustain its growth, or whether we will see the bubble being burst so start the next reversal trend. Again, getting past $20,000 is the beginning, we are in the uncharted territory, and seems there are no ceiling.

Tell us your bitcoin prediction for 2021, and what will or will not happen.

In my assessment, this 2021 before end of this year Bitcoin price value could be 150k$ - 300k$, But this is just my opinion and
analysis based on what I saw in the chart or graph. Sounds too impossible for the majority of the community here in the forum,
But we are all free to give our own thoughts.

No one can tell precisely but calculate the probability of the market response and the potential of bitcoin refer to the adoption and economic development worldwide.
Some predict the ath in this year will reach $60k-$100k and the highest at around $400k, I can't see how it would be achieved from this point but tend to agree with $100k by the end of the year. Bitcoin still on the bull run currently to break the resistance level, but it would stop at some point, move sideways and gradually decline, maybe in Q2 2021.

Yeah, I know why majority of the forum members won't immediately agree with such predictions. I know 2021 is the year for Bitcoin and we might possibly see more bigger price increase in the near future, but we shouldn't ignore the fact that the market doesn't go up forever and that at some point, it would have to take the other direction. That's the case with BTC too. If I remember correctly, some institutional firms bought a truck load of bitcoin between the range of $10K to $20K. Now, majority of the said firms and capitals only bought Bitcoin as an investment and there would come a time when they would sell their BTC and make profits.

Well, I’m confident the marker will continue to go up and push the trend until we reach the price of $100k, but I’m not sure that it can still happen this year because I’m expecting a big correction and its expected by many after reaching the all time high, so just be ready to buy when bitcoin hits the bottom again and never to panic because we are destined to climb higher.

Hard to tell the exact price BTC will hit but I have a prediction range between $40000-70000. Maybe after hitting the $40k, the price will fall to the $25k for testing the demand which will control the whole trend. Long story short, the trend will continue in an upwards direction at least for 3 months. Let's wait for the correction prices and we will be able to tell which price points can be support or resistance in the long term trend. All predictions are waste of time and energy if the BTC can't show a reaction to the mentioned market levels. Charts never lie.

Well, that is right, go to in speculation board and you will find out there are too many speculations out there.
We know that bitcoin is unpredictable and now we saw that the market has a small correction, though at this moment, --I still believe that bitcoin will not down far $30k and it should a small correction that could perhaps start to raise up again. I have a strong feeling that bitcoin will continue to grow up this year, but I am afraid of the rumors in some people who predicted that bitcoin will perhaps repeat itself just like what happened in 2018 after an ATH has reached there is a massive correction that almost hit on the ground.

who is sure about his current prediction? I feel like I didn't find it right and right. This is hard to estimate, only if I would personally say that $ 40,000 could potentially be achieved. that's just my guess, so there's no reason for anyone to believe it. it's just that we need to remember the current adoption, and also the dwindling supply of bitcoins will be a factor of scarcity and a continuous increase in price.
