I always trade in Binance because it's easier for me to convert my profit to fiat and do a successful withdrawal without any glitch.
I have realized one strategy on that exchange, ones a project is good, traders don't love to swing price such kind of projects with price action. What I do sometimes is to buy when it's dip and sell as soon as othera Fomo with update from the project.
This should happen in other exchange too but that's how I do some Altcoins.

At least to me what you are doing seems risky, there are many ways to trade the markets and it is very rare for a person to be good at all of them, each person is going to have a personal preference and that is what they will do best, trying to do everything at once can seem attractive but you are never going to be as good as those that specialize in a single way to trade.

And this is important because as we know trading is a competition and if the other traders are better than you then you are bound to lose money, this is why most people identify themselves with a particular style of trading and for the most part they do not change it regardless of the circumstances the market is going through.

Since I have my day job and had a little time to day trade and do my research. I am more of a long-term investor. Whenever I have spare money from my day job, I invest them in trusted coins such as Ethereum, BTC, Polkadot and etc. As much as I want to trade, I only have a little time to watch the market closely and read updates about what's going on to crypto.

I'm not that good with trading but this is a good time to mine some coins as mining is very profitable right now so I fired up my long abandoned mining rig and also build new one too, it's been good days for mining once again

I'm on a cost averaging investor since every time I have extra fund, i do buy Bitcoin and save it on my hard wallet and my goal is to have at least .5 BTC for the next 2 years.

Well, there's no rush for me to get that much of Bitcoin since I value time and I want to keep on buying knowing that Bitcoin will continue to soar higher over time.We all have different approach and strategies on investing, always go on a winning side and don't focus on anyone's portfolio, just focus on your personal goal and you'll achieve it on time.

The same as you except I differ which money i can invest to some high risk investment instrument and which other is needed for emergency fund or saving which means low risk investment.
The kind of High risk investment in new projects usually done small amount since the risk is high and can't afford to lose so much.
Meanwhile I do staking which offer lesser risk and stable return but take like a really long time for ROI and also bag holding since I like to bag hold hard. Maybe my investment is not really optimized for greater return but it's enough.

For the past years that im investing in crypto, I almost tried the different ways to take advantage the unstable price of crypto and I can say the best that works for me is to be long term hodler. It seems boring or unprofitable to those who dont have lots of patience but this strategy best suits to investors who dont have time to frequently monitor the market and has another job in real world.

Invest now, come back for few months or even years then you'll get what you deserves. However this is only applicable to well-established coins that managed to bounce back during bearish market which is an inevitable season.

You can do both if you're too good at doing it altogether. Being an investor doesn't require much work and effort, you just do some research and money before buying anything that you want and determine how you should be with it. And as you set that chosen investment then you can do experiments in day trading. It's not also that much requiring things as long as you've got money to trade.

Hodl is good but I prefer to invest or staking in a new project or existing one so I can earn double because by staking and investing i can increase my token holding that way I can get double profit and it's much more safer than just holding because I can increase my token number while at the same time waiting for the price to go up.
You can compare how much you got from holding your bitcoin compared with investing in the new project that launched on polkastarter.

My first motive on that cryptocurrency investments, is I always look on the goals that's driven for a certain project roadmap. Without that visions, I couldn't trust on the platform because how can you be into a specific project if you don't know the future it brings back to your finances as well.
