I read articles related to FT and a little bit of their market graph on IDEX - and my last assessment was that the FT did not reach the level to call a pearl.
I can only say that FT is a pretty good project, but there are also relatively large risks.
It's up to you to decide whether to buy and speculate.
On a personal level, I think the FT is worth buying at current prices, but should not buy too much.
I will also buy some FT.
Good luck!

Trading volumes are very small and it is not very good, but if the company will make all its efforts to develop its product, I think it may work out.

Fabric Token has been tradeable on IDEX for a couple of days, and has been listed on coinmarketcap yesterday: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/fabric-token/

There is a 1 minute videoclip explaining what they are aiming to do, on their website: https://fabrictoken.io

I'd love to hear your thoughts!

Stats:

Name: Fabric Token (FT)
Market cap: 1.9 million
Circulating supply: 24 million
Bonusses during ICO: no
Working product: yes
Centralised exchange: before 31st May
Volume on IDEX: 100k+

I based this thread on information found on the website of Fabric Token, but also on Twitter. This is not financial advise! Do your own research!

why you say that token fabric is a gem in idex? what is your reason?
what purchase price should I put on buy order? where can I trade token fabric besides idex?

1) Because Fabric Token has a tiny market cap, which can make a project a "Gem"
2) My reason is that the project is legit; the whitepaper is good, the website is being updated freaquently with blogs and information, and the team is responsive and active on Telegram. Most low cap coins don't even have a whitepaper, or have a crappy website and hidden team;
3) The current price is very low, ~ $0.08 is a great entry
4) You can trade Fabric on IDEX for Eth, and on Cryptopia for Bitcoin.

Goodluck!

Saw this post a few days ago and decided to research the token. It's really taken off today.

I think that even though they had to burn a lot of tokens because they couldn't meet their ICO funding goals, they'll be good with that Swiss investment.

Came back down already due to the market crashing even further. Great moment to buy if you missed your shot a couple of days ago! This project is way to good to have a market cap less than ~ 20 million.

I had heard about Fabric Token. But it really is not a potential altcoin. Its capitalization is too little to thrive in the Crypto market. Its price is too low compared to those with low supply altcoin.
So I think they will not have enough capital to develop their business plans. It will not be able to survive so long in this harsh Crypto market.

Oh and as an addition to my previous post: https://fabrictoken.io/fabric-token-raises-787500-gets-backed-by-swissborg-partners-up-with-wolf-crypto/

Funding will not be a problem :-)

I do not agree. Don't forget that Token Generation 2.0 (MVP) will be released this month. The team has already made huge amounts of progress. Also, they addressed this issue in the blog about the token sale summary: https://fabrictoken.io/fabric-token-crowdsale-summary/

The team explained the following:

Sadly, since the beginning of February the crypto market has been in a very poor shape and this has had a huge effect on the TGEs (Token Generation Events) taking place in that timeframe. Funds directed at ICOs have dropped substantially in February and March 2018, as compared to January 2018 and December 2017, however, we are very happy with the amount of contributions we gathered.

The 2617.45 ETH will be enough for us to continue developing the Fabric Token ecosystem confidently. We announced right from the start that, regardless of the crowdsale’s outcome, we are going to make this project into a reality – and nothing’s changed about that.

Interesting project, especially their goal of bringing smart contracts available to the mainstream, considering the Etherium ICO investors were all about smart contracts!

What will be the total max supply of FT, given that they burnt all the unsold token from their ICO? 100 Mio would have been the total max if all would have been sold.

So how many got burnt?

Once SMEs see the use in having their own token to optimize their processes, I can see Fabric Token be a go to service provider for its ease of use to generate your own token.

Am even more curious about their smart contract tool, which will be called Dapp Workbench I guess.

Look forward to use this token myself and report back Smiley

Well the team planned to sell 100 million tokens, but in the end only 43 million were sold. The ICO ran in a bad bear market. That amount is including the tokens from the team with a lock-up period.

I'm cuious as wel about their smart contract tool!

I've read that the costs for a (template of a) smart contract will amount to ~ 10 tokens (at this moment only $0.80). Imagine the price increase of this token in the future!
