So both of you guys are telling me ... and even if the price of Bitcoin is going as hell , you won't touch them and will keep them till the end ? Even if it means losing hundreds or even thousands of dollar ? Use some common sense because this does make no sense to me .

~ Madness

NO risk NO reward, my friend.

Even holding stocks, bonds, gold, silver, etc has risk.

They do have their risks indeed . but not like Bitcoin , not even close . you can't even compare them .
Bitcoin is simply a Digital currency and exist since 2009 only , Gold exists forever ... Grin so yeah not same risks at all

Hi,

Let's get real , each one should have a price in his mind and he is waiting for it to sell his Bitcoin , what's yours ?
Don't start flying with your imagination away , be real and tell us what is the price that you think it's fair (looking at the first price you bought Bitcoin and you started to hold)

For me , It's 1000$ . I started Bitcoin 2014 so I'am not really an early adopter , I missed a lot of events that could make me rich even if Bitcoin is not all about being rich.
~ Madness

$1000 is lower than the last ATH.

I don't think that less than 2k is a good exit point for people that started in 204, after the big rise and downfall

At this point, I'm only accumulating, never selling to fiat.

Don't have a price in mind, could be $5k could be $10k, but the point being is if Bitcoin's still around and doing exactly what the whitepaper says, we won't need to convert or sell back to fiat.

I'm waiting precisely for those days.  When 1BTC = 1BTC

at about 40,000 USD

I said on the OP to people so they don't abuse the prices but seems like they are .
How much time (in your opinion) Bitcoin will take to reach that price ? It will take years if you ask me , should bypass few Block reward halving and not sure if it will rise that much . but at least you didn't say 1 million dollar as the others  Roll Eyes

~ Madness

Doubt we will see 40k per btc within next 10 years, maybe if something happens in legal scene, allowing people to buy without having problems with banks, and if the problem of security is eliminated..
To me its not the price thats important, i only care fore % of a rise in xy days, and if conditions are met, i sell, and wait for people to stop dreaming, then rebuy :]

i don't have much fiat invested in these play things except lots of time.  i plan to hold till my retirement or leave them to my family. which isn't anytime soon, hopefully. i will never sell them for fiat money.  maybe use them in exchange for goods and services only.

It's already possible to buy some things directly with bitcoin like dell computers. You still have to consider what fiat value you are prepared to part with your bitcoins for if buying a dell computer. Last weekend you might have decided to buy a computer when bitcoin was $230 or waited until it was $270. I consider buying something with them almost like selling them for fiat money then buying something with the money.

It really depends on situation, time and price. As bitcoin is here to stay i will allways rebuy and trade, no matter what the price is.
Im expecting alot from bitcoin in terms of price, and will sell if price goes 20-30% without some credible reason, and then ill wait again for price to drop
unrealisticly low, and rebuy.
I make trades each few months in average, and i have all the time in the world to wait for my chance.

If you people don't fuck it up, 4K.....but too many people in this for the wrong reasons....marketing it all the wrong ways.

My price: $5000

$10,000 to $50,000

I really hope that BTC takes off. It adds incredible value, so much more than those multibillion social media sites.

I hope you guys have patience. It's unlikely to go to these prices without full mainstream adoption, which if it happens at all will be a very slow process.

If bitcoin's exchange rate goes to the moon then adoption will be so wide spread I won't need to exchange for fiat. So my price is when I can exchange my BTC for a nice house, and I'd still probably only use 50% max of my stash and hold the rest.

Although still profitable (2.71828X), better to be big. At least 13 times 70 usd per BTC. This time, looking for 21 or even more. I am now using different faucets, being a broker in order to get as much as possible.

P.S

BTC-flow.com, Just about two weeks, at least 90 BTC is sent to hundreds of clients. The TX perhaps is considered real. Really doing business, but be very careful when you consider their Tier offers as I don't fully trust that one. Perhaps you can use my referral link to testify if it will be collapsed soon.

Last time was at least thirteen times of the price based. The 70 USD was a declined price after the USD 266 barrier. Which was April 2013 news.

I am preparing the second shot, the first shot is impressive. Spending 2 months in BTC likes Spending 2 decades in real world at least. After some people are goxed and the following consequences, many people have lost much dollars. Only few still get the profit.

Note that you seldom are able to get more than 3 times than the current, higher the riskier.

Why does there have to be a "price" ,.... some of us aren't just using Bitcoin as a short term speculative investment . I will continue to buy and use bitcoin whether it costs 50 dollars a bitcoin or 1 million dollars a bitcoin. The more I can save and use bitcoin over fiat the more I can support the community and myself and at the same time not have the same degree of guilt that I have indirectly supporting the murder of a village of children overseas when fiat is used.

Bitcoins current volatility makes it unwise to immediately convert 100% of fiat, but I look forward to the day when I can either turn down fiat completely or instantly convert 100% into bitcoin.

I am a Conscious Consumer and Bitcoin is a fantastic tool to allow one to avoid supporting unethical human rights violations.

If you understand that there are millions of people who hold the same ethics as me, you will understand why bitcoin will never go to 0 and how states or corporations can never compete with bitcoin because bitcoin represents something bigger than a more efficient payment channel.

I will never sell my bitcoin.

Most of people says that but ...
You shouldn't  be that sure , I mean Bitcoin can die at any moment and I don't think you will buy some popcorn and watch the price going down and losing money . you should sell it at some point I guess
But if someone was sure that Bitcoin will never die , on that case he won't sell yes .

~ Madness

No this is wrong for alot of people including myself, we have brought what we can afford to lose and believe in it so will never sell means all the way up and all the way down to me anyway.

If i lose i will lose it all but i only lose if i sell so i will never sell just keep buying because BTC will not die and one day you will buy everything you need with it, don't sell after buying if you believe in the longterm unless you are shorting when/if the time comes.

The bitcoin as coin can die, but the blockchain (as technology) will stay for sure. No one from us know if in the next 10-15 years another "mysterious" person will create a new "coin" much better than actual.

Because a "mysterious" person or group is going to make BTC holders jump from this to their coin i see what you mean  Grin

OK i never said BTC 'cannot die' i said it will not die there is a very big difference and i will not waste my time explaining it to someone who just wants to get his post count up and does not think about what he writes.

This whole question is wrong.

I will never again exchange my bitcoins for fiat. Soon you can use bitcoin to pay for anything you need. Then there is no longer any need to look at bitcoin as how many dollars you can get for them.

This is something I want also. Don't get me wrong, I want to hold them for a while until I think they achieve a value I think they are worth, but I want to be able to actually spend my coins on things I need, including paying my bills directly.

If one day I can buy everything I need in bitcoin why would I want to exchange that back to fiat.

Well , don't get me wrong guys . But Bitcoin should have a value of fiat , no ?
I mean even if there is a market for selling goods for Bitcoin .. like all you need foods , cars , house , whatever ... How you know how much you need to pay .. you don't that's the only reason we need fiat for BTC .
But yeah you got a point , why we would trade our BTC for fiat if we have all available

Luckily bitcoins aren't a big lump so we can sell different bits at different prices.  As for me, I only intend to sell a few for fiat; the rest I will spend on daily expenses as the opportunity arises.  Ultimately I see myself holding minimal fiat because I'm being scammed.

This whole question is wrong.

I will never again exchange my bitcoins for fiat. Soon you can use bitcoin to pay for anything you need. Then there is no longer any need to look at bitcoin as how many dollars you can get for them.
