I've been learning C and C# for several months already. As for the future of programming, I've recently explored the subject and found out that Python’s rating increased. This language is loved by many developers as it has less code lines. Clear syntax facilitates agile development. A lot of global companies have already appreciated the technology. Also it has to be noted, the demand for Python programmers skyrocketed that led to the growth of wages. If you want to find out more about it, I recommend to take a look at the article on https://diceus.com/python-developer-salary/. Hopefully, this information will be useful for you!

I taught myself Basic when I was in grade school...that should have been an indication I should have done a little bit more with programming languages, but I went the Mechanical Engineering route (which I like too).  I still dabble in Visual Basic, javascript, and am starting to learn Java a bit.  I'd love to use it to make a simple mobile game app sometime down the road.  Is it worth learning C/C#/C++ for that, or you think Java/javascript and some game engine experience should get me where I want to go?

I learned C from the start and as the time goes by I used C# for my game development Unity3D. And when I got my 1st job switch to javascript for mobile app development using React Native.
