Logitech G700s! Why do I like it? Well...uh, it works. (The cord on my old one started to break, and after I fixed that the left click started to wear out...)
Also, it has lots of buttons for macros and DPI. Those are nice.

I'm the only one that uses no mouse?
Only the touchpad most of the time?

The click sound is annoying

It is a made in china mouse the price is only $1.25.

Same here. I'm not much of a gamer so it doesn't really matter to me. The only thing I don't like about the mouse however is the noise the buttons make. It's way too loud, compared to previous mouses I had.

I used logitech for years but I was fairly unimpressed recently. I got a minor brand lately and it's surprisingly solid. The ergonomics suck but at this price point I cannot really ask for more. I'm looking forward to buy and handshoe!

Most mice cost something. They are usually a few dollars but still not free.

RAZER NAGA 2014!!!!

You'd think it would be good just for MMO's, but it's great for weapon switching in FPS games as well!

whats the point of getting an expensive one when it does nothing more than what a 5$-10$ mouse can do..! I won't pay extra just for looks unless it really provide something worthy.
Still using Logitech that i got with my system.

depends on what you're doing with it.
i'm working a lot with 3D software/Adobe Suite and with a good ergonomic mouse i'm able to be a lot faster and more precise.
plus i don't get cramps or hurting wrists after hours of clicking. (tendinitis is really ugly while working on a project with strict deadline)

sure they are expensive, but a blacksmith also wouldn't buy cheap tools if he has to use them everyday.

My old MX518 which is having connectivity issues due to the cord detaching (needs a surgical repair).  I think the new model is called a G400 - hate to swap it though just because a stupid connector fails.

More expensive mice tend to have higher DPI (move faster) and higher quality ways of detecting movement (EG Laser which is better in many cases than optical and vastly superior to ball mice)
Some mice have extra buttons on to bind macros which are super useful not just for games but for using the PC in general, for example a macro to say "Awesome!" rather than typing it.

I dont understand, why people pay extra for a cool mouse, is it just for its coolness and look?
For hardcore gamers it's about comfort for long sessions and having extra buttons (and also looking cool)

Picked this guy up last year, falling apart now but it did very good for the price

I used it for quite a few hours straight, I got use to it pretty quickly and adapted to it faster than I thought.

The deathadder 2013 seems to be a good mouse. only problem is the side buttons are way to high above the thumb. Wish they were lower like the copperhead.

I got a decent Logitech optical mouse as a gift about 10 years ago.  It's nothing fancy--just the usual buttons, a wheel, and one other button for a little extra functionality.  It still works just about as well today as it did 10 years ago.  If I ever need a new mouse, I'm going with Logitech again.

I'm using the optical wheel mouse that came with my computer.  I don't mind it as it does the job, but I miss my wireless mouse I had a while back.  Much bigger than the one that came with the computer and had some pretty sweet features.  Unfortunately, no cord means i can throw it easier.  I went through 2 of them before I decided it was too costly, LOL!

deathadder black edition.

my favourite mouse for years now if it's gaming or work.
only flaw are the plastic rods under the main buttons which work off with the time (> 1 year) and get unresponsive.

im currently using a Logitech G500.
I love the mouse, its super responsive, use a hack to give it raw input and no acceleration as well as using the provided weights for it to make it controllable.
Great mouse, quite cheap as well.

I use whatever mouse is available. I don't care for those gaming mice... They've got all those extra keys no one needs, except for, well... gamers. A nice cheap non-crap optical mouse does the trick.
