An ending that satisfies the viewers as you say an answers to all the questions and missing pieces of a scene it feels like the puzzle has been solve and a happy ending of course thats everyone wants.
A good series finale for me is when they answered at least the most important questions that fans have, plus giving the characters some sort of end game, as well as not leaving the series in a huge cliffhanger that will never be answered.
For me a good finale for any tv show is having all the characters happy...
