First it should have plan of fair distribution in early stages, should have real life application, must have unique wallets/algo rather than just a copied/cloned coin, must be secure and at last community should support the coin as cryptoworld is community driven, getting good attraction from community is must.

Hi guys Cheesy

I was wondering, what makes a new cryptocurrency a good one. I mean that it survive the early dumping and become longterm.
Is it the community supporting it? Is it pure Luck ? Does it need a strong project behind ? ....

It would need to have real, usable, in-demand features that other coins don't have.

Just that one statement means that ~ 90% of altcoins are essentially pointless, although people still pump and dump them.

For long term investment, go with my first statement. My favorites are XMR, BTC, FCT.
