Hey Rebel,

It was awesome to meet you at B23, and I'm really glad your found your way to the forum m8!! It was so cool to witness you presenting your artwork to the highest bidder from the scarce city auction at the show. Usually I meet the people on the forum first and then meet them in person but I met you first and then you joined, which js awesome!. What makes good bitcoin art? I think anything that portrays digital freedom and liberty, Looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future, your use of symbolism is excellent!

I've had the pleasure of collaborating with Rebel for a piece at the 2023 Bitcoin Amsterdam gallery.

He shares our values, and I'm looking forward to see his further involvement on this forum.

Hello and welcome RebelMoney!

As fellow Bitcoin artist, I'd say good Bitcoin art is when an aspect of Bitcoin's vast universe is artistically (could also be with sound or motion, not just visually) uplifted.
An artist could express how the community celebrates new technology, how memes make it fun and explain the mood. You can show how Bitcoin rebels (hah!) against the system.
You can use graphitty, abstract art, realism, photography, collage or pencil or whatever medium to express yourself.

And it's important to do the best job you can of course. There's just too much unnecesarry s*** out there.  Grin

Cheers!

Hi Rebel, nice to see that you made it here into our little community🍀🤗

Art means something different to anyone of us. Our hearts are shaking for so many kinds of physical or digital goods, but finally i think it's all about passion

The energy you invest to create something over a long period of time will be recognized & appreciated

Everyone of us knows the feeling to see an Art piece or collectible & immediately fall in love with it. The deeper i dig into some Bitcoin Art the more i value it. The sybolism grows over time

Hope to meet you soon again Buddy😉...stay healthy & humble

Welcome RebelMoney!

Always great to see new members on this board, it helps keep things fresh live and active.

As for Art, its subjective! bitbollo posted two very great examples.

There are a lot of artists, makers and creatives here, so many of us have all made
collectibles of some sort.

What makes good Bitcoin art?

Interesting themes, historical events, FIAT v Bitcoin, new ideas, anything limited,
just throwing a few obvious ones out there.

Hi, welcome!
Grin first of all, please check my topic with questions to collectors/artists.
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/interviews-with-crypto-collectors-artists-5396078
It would be glad read your answers to my questions!

What is art?
stick a banana with duct tape on a wall?

an Italian Renaissance work?

is there anyone who decides this is art? this is not?

well... (of course this is my personal opinion as a small but passionate collector Smiley .... )

I consider "art" everything that arouses an emotion in me, that makes me reflect, that leaves me a message, that tells a story, that is a trace of the passage of humans on this planet, something that tells about a historical period, something that leaves a mark, something that is beautiful to look at, but rather, much better something that I LIKE  Cool
the same apply to bitcoin art... no more, no less Wink probably....

Don't worry about what is considered good Bitcoin artwork. You know when you've made Bitcoin art - that's what matters!

Hey Rebel!
Welcome to the forum, great to have you here! I'm sure you will fit in well and find lots of inspiration. This is a great little community to be a part of.

As for your question about "good" bitcoin art . . . HM. well I prefer a huge orange BTC plastered on everything. Well kind of, but not really.
I think the BTC can be great and has been used very effectively in the past, also very overused in many cases. Personally I like the story, the connections, the imagery, the idea behind the piece. Honestly sometimes I just like the way it looks, or something fun and unique to add to my collection.

I have been inspired by and enjoy collecting items from people here and other places, all very different styles, but at the heart of the art they all convey some fundamental truth about bitcoin in one way or another. Hard to put into words.

Glad to see you here, and I'm excited to see if you have any new art to share with us.

Hi all,

Just introducing myself. I'm a Bitcoin artist, enthusiast and interviewer. Ironically I've probably met more people on here in person before chatting online!  Smiley Humbled to be posting on the same forum as Satoshi.

Always looking to improve my craft, just want to know from you, the true collectors:
