Supply and demand are mostly in balance leading towards a stable market. No major news effecting demand either.

the last few days mtgox prices keep dabbeling around $122 dollar. This made me think about the mechanics of the market. What triggers a decline or rise in prices? is this linked to events in the bitcoin ecosystem or influenced by miners that sell their coins ( large volume being sold )?
just curious as to why the market is so calm these days
