Many GC sellers come here thinking they can offload fraudulent GCs for irreversible cold hard BTC and launder money this way. Some buy high activity accounts to seem more trusted and ask users to message them on other platforms so that there is no evidence in case of complains. Just avoid discounted cards in general if you want to be safe and deal with things that are 100% legL without question.

I learned a nice lesson buying some gift cards. First never buy a card that's linked to your account. Like if you're buying a amazon gift card( or whatever) and want to use it; makes sure it's not linked to you. The card may be approved but later on you will end up paying that money back because the gift card numbers came up under a fraud list of gift cards. Only buy a card that can be used for payment and then discarded. Im sure some people on here get the cards the right way but some may not and you don't want to be stuck paying money back after they take back the money and ban your personal accounts. Just an FYI for all

Well i guess this could be easily prevented by not dealing with non-trusted newbie/member users. They generally don't know 100% what they are selling, and they usually offer terrible support..
Especially if it is about large amounts.
I see lots of people getting scammed by this, because even if they use escrow, they'll get fucked over later on, and the seller is nowhere to be found.

It seems this also happend in your case, am i correct? Have you already opened a dispute to get a refund from said user which sold you the cards?

Well I used escrow and was using a card to my personal account. wHAT happens once they know the recognize all the cards that are from fraud they will recoup them and you will end up paying for that card or get it stripped from your account. Or they could ban you altogether.
