To all the big profit!
Guys, advise please, what is the best time to mine? A few months already trying to mine Zcoin, initially went into a plus, now I am in a big minus, because the costs of software is higher than the profit. Thank you in advance for your advice!

if you have amd go mine ETH or ETC or monero, if you have nvidia go mine zcash lbry spreadcoin or nexus, it's simple man, look at whattomine, it say what the most coin is profitable, and zcoin is not among those

Go mine DGB.

not good anymore even with the 1080ti better to mine tribus algo from denarius now

@Ayers
what settings are you using with 1080ti for tribus algo?
what are the hashrates for denarius with 1080ti?
could you also link the miner you are using?

Would like to check if it's really profitable to miner denarius compared with DGB right now.
Seems all coins are currently not that pofitable like some weeks before. Hard to survive right now Wink

thank you in advance

i use only one setting for every algo, i don't have the hassles to change every time, i use 80% tdp plus +200 mem and +150 core, tribus is a bit more profitable, 0.003 versus 0.0025 with two 1080ti

If you have only CPU go to mine XMR or KRB if you have GPU try ETH / ETC or you can try Winminer

You won't get much XMR mining with a cpu, i have tried it and it netted me close to nothing, don't even bother. Maybe if the price goes up 3fold it might be worth it, that is until diff. goes up with it and again netting you close to nothing profitwise, Can't really mine anything with a cpu now, you could have mined bitcoin with one in like 2011  Wink

The cost of mining is constantly changing. You need to monitor the cost of production and constantly switch between currencies. Easier to do it on the service NiceNash. There they automatically switch between currencies. The forum is their official thread and you can read all information and to consult.
Yeah dude...  The mining cost is very constant...  You must monitor every cost, everything about it so you can get easy information...

Burst is the easiest to mine without any new hardware you just need a HDD. Astro looks good too mining with sensors and HDD.

Look for the proof of capacity ones if you don't want to buy any ASIC mining hardware

You would a whole lot of HDD's to make a profit, besides it is tough for a noob to setup those drives also.

Not really, you just set up plots and open the miner. I think Astro's app has an auto-setup where you can mine from your phone.

It's very noob friendly I suggest you look into it.

Ok, thanks for the information. I tried it manually on my own and found it to be a bit hard to figure out. I eventually got it working, but it took me a long time to get it just right and the way i wanted it. Im sure others will appriciate that Astro's app with an auto-setup. I found to make any resonable profit you would need huge HDD's though, so it wasn't for me unfortunately.

Difficult coin and also the price in the market certainly affect your income. I suggest to try another coin, you can search some information in subforum announcement. There you can calculate how much money you will get. Do not forget to calculate the cost of production, such as electricity and hardware maintenance costs you have.
