Speaking of Singapore, there's PundiX that's also quite heavily in Indonesia, and from last update I recall from Q4, they'd shipped out hundreds of their point of sale devices to merchants with a lot more ordered in the pipeline.

The thing uses physical cards, basically an NFC wallet using a "crypto-neutral" token. So yeah, "offline" purchasing, swipe/wave to pay. Most of the tests were done with Bitcoin.

Have they succeeded to do it then? Last time I hear about PundiX is when they aim to do another round of crowdfunding and then it makes the community went nuts. They also fasten the plan for token unlock (probably to increase their funds), which is why the price went down really hard the past few weeks. For a company who wanted to raise another round of funding, I'm a bit pessimistic with their product tbh.

Seems like there's still a limited option. In Singapore, there's a company called Taxem that provide NFC+Bitcoin card[1]. There's also a Bitcoin+NFC lightning wallet that is still on development stage[2].

Bobby Fischer was right
Near Field Communication (NFC) and Bitcoin are in my opinion made for each other.
What choice in terms of services there are, besides those two below that I was able to find?
Preferably it's the software solutions that I would be interested in, not the physical cards.

Plutus Tap & Pay - https://plutus.it/ -seems live, trustable?
ShakePay - https://shakepay.co/ -invite only, Canada only?
