At present, the transaction volume query website I know is the most professional and comprehensive. It is also difficult for other websites to surpass it. I often follow the information on this site.

Besides Coinmarketcap, I am using Coingecko for checking the trade volumes, and many other factors about the coins. I prefer CMC but sometimes I am trading coins and tokens not yet listed there, and most of them are already listed on CoinGecko which give almost the same info given by CMC for each coin.

Consider https://coin.market/ for more reliable monitoring of trade volumes - it provides more meaningful trades data (not ticker data, like CMC and most of the competitors), so you can calculate how much volume was in each time frame an you can also check how many trades were in a selected pair in a selected price range on all exchanges or on one exchange.

Lately I realized that coinmarketcap is a ton of shits and that's why I am now mostly using coingecko which is a best one as per my observation. It also provide some better data than coinmarketcap.
Even those sites providing better data still you need to check those prices on the respective exchanges because these sites are the tools for the price manipulators so Coingecko is not going to be an exception for it.

http://coincap.io/ this site also can be used as an alternative.

I'm starting to question coinmarketcap now.
How can a low volume coin possibly reached the spot of number 20+ before and now its on 38.
I'm talking about the Aurumcoin which became trending.

Same question goes thru my mind  . how can other coins easily climb on higher tier ?  Its not rocket science though  .  maybe because they are being manipulated by whales or they just got a plain demand from the public  .  or maybe cmc is just buggy  these days ?

Anyways , there are other alternatives that we can use .  i also use coingecko because they had a more richer feature and other contents  around their site .

Coinmarketcap is better than others. However, there is still a dark side. Coinmarketcap once manipulated 50 coin data a.k.a giving false data or information about the coin. CMC is also suspected of accepting bribes, some Coins pay a large amount of fees to make CMC not update the latest coin competitors' bribes data (marketcap, price, listed exchange etc).

Alternative to CMC
1. coincap.io
2. coinlib.io
3. coingecko.com

You can use coincap.io or if on Android you can use the Bitrift App, you can track all CMC listed coins and track your portfolio, it has live widgets it's really good looking and better than Delta or Blockfolio imo

Coinmarketcap is the best site to update realtime coin prices. I find it easy to use, so do not understand why you need another page for reference. If you see too many coin lists to track, you can setup your watchlist to track only the coin you care about.

Nowadays cryptocurrencies values are not seems the real time updation on the Coinmarketcap recent days mate. I like to see the price changes imediately on the CMC chart but there seems more than 5 minutes delay on price updation in their site.
Hence I see many people reporting about the CMC last few months. I like to see the normal price changes like Google Chrome add ons to be used if you are looking to monitor the price changes.

Actually, now that Coinmarketcap's updated the way they show all their data, it's actually already good enough to use for everyone. They used to get complaints that they were only showing the numbers that were fed to them but actually that was never their fault anyway.

Now, they are more transparent so you can choose which data to view, if you want to view it. No censorship of data at least that's what they claim, so I don't see that any of their old criticisms are valid.
Now its being updated and they do already provide the transparency then theres no way that you can deny that this is the most popular or widely used when it comes to informations about volumes and other related informations. Ive seen some other similar sites but I do still end up on using this site since from the beginning until now because it do provide all the things I do seek out compared to other similar sites.
I'm sure there are some people who do use other instead of CMC but on my part I wont really ask for more.

I think marketcap is great for being a reference in the crypto trading volume, while others are not as light as marketcap. but I guess if to analyze it will not be enough just to see from site referrals that show the market movement.

I think most people here are using coinmerket cap to check trading volumes since it is the most reliable source and it is easy to access. I do not know any other site that can provide the same information. I also use coinmarket cap not just to look at the volume but also to look where a certain coin or token is tradeable.

You can use https://coincheckup.com/. It is better than coinmarketcap for me because they have diversified analysis to some coins like fundamental analysis, investment analysis, and github analysis.

Additionally, they have pump and dump updates and arbitrage opportunities too that will be pretty useful for people who don't want to take some risky trades and wants to remain conservative.
