Currently using bitcoin.lc and bitminter.com, both are pretty awesome pools and i especially like bitminter with their own miner as well as the statistic interface

Yea that is ofc true, the program is not open source so they might be doing fishy stuff but so far i have been happy with the amount i have been getting from their pool, ofc i would probably be unaware if they did remove a couple of shares here and there but i doubt they would do that

i use bitminter too, just about from the beginning ive been very happy with the pay, very comparable to btc guild payouts....except on unlucky blocks. but overall a nice small pool

He pays 0.00003 per share, about 20% more than deepbit or any other pool and he pays them out of his own pocket !!!

used slush then recently moved to RFC, i like RFC more than slush and i am having larger payouts (not sure if it's the difficulty drop) any way RFC site is much better.
I just switched to bitminter too. Their miner is beyond awesome in terms of performance and stability. I can even watch video and tv while mining with it.
And with my current knowledge, any pool could steal some shares to me (and I expect that some do). But stealing big time to the miners would be a self-defeating move, so I don't think that any pool that want to survive would do it.

I used to mine but I had to stop because I didn't had time to clean the hardware etc.

Normally I'd be all for that, but RFCpool has me hooked. I won't go into specifics though.
The 150SLC is a darn good deal, but I have a mere <200 m/hash and would barely dent the Hash rate. I'll take a look into it if I can put together a bit of a better rig.

Great to have you join. I have tried other pools and had connection issues and poor results. So far this has been very well done.
Well in the last block, I made about 1.5 times my estimated amount, that's also after my donation. I also can't knock that in ~4000 shares, I've gotten 0 stales.

I've move to rfcpool and Ilike love it! In a mere 300 shares, I already have about .009 BTC, which is significantly higher than the other PPS pools I've used. Not to mention 0% stales (so far). The UI is also very nice.
+1 to all of you that recommended RFCpool
PS- The excessive "!"'s and etc were a little much, but I really like the pool. Thanks for the suggestions. Thread is still open for discussion though.

Looks like RFC seems to be the way to go right now. I guess I'll start playing with it after I cash out of Deepbit
I myself have moved from Slush to rfcpool.com. I had so many issues with Slush's pool i felt I was being cheated. But that could be my server talking to their server.
I am very happy with rfcpool. Specially since I have gotten so much help in the irc channel. Great people.
As far as trust it means a lot. There website makes things very transparent. So you know your getting what you should be getting. Not stolen hashes or such. Very up to date.

Last round i got 0.002% stales for a pretty long block.
If your miners are in order, your stales should be even lower there.

I've been mining on Slush's pool lately, but I'm beginning to feel I'm being cheated, as my payouts are drastically lower than I estimate. I'm just curious as to which pools you use, and how they have been working out for you.

anything but pure proportional will twist your own luck beyond all recognition, if you want a predictable payout, then trade your luck for zero variance and use something *PPS with a low fee and/or low rejected shares
Now that I've started testing Deepbit, I've noticed that my stales are ridiculously low, as in .22% compared to the 2% at slush. As for payouts, I've only been running it for a night, so it's too early, but I will be going to rfc if I become unhappy. I don't have the hashing power to effectively go to proportional mining. Unless I'm wrong about that though, I just thought that proportional was more for large mining operations.

He has a rather decent analysis of whether a pool is cheating its miners or not.
btcguild does not seem to come out in a very good light

Never had any issues and Eleuthria he is always on IRC. And his new poolsetup for me is fantastic 30ms ping times.

Must say, after a few shorties, we are having a little bit of a bigger one, which can only mean it will get so much better after that!

You don't get cheated. Prob is you (and strangely many others) put yourself in a disadvantage with Proportional Rewards.
Join a PPS or PPLNS pool and you do not have those problems.

Eligius, abcpool.co, deepbit (backup), btcpool24, arsbitcoin. Usually evenly dividing up the hashing power between them in 3-5 ghash clusters.
If there's new PPS pools I try those out for a few weeks. I'll consider rfcpool because they have PPLNS now.
