Slush is good, worked well for me with Avalon and Slush invented whole thing - pooled mining.

Yes, Slush... uses own pool software and keeps it updated.

How about btcguild? It's a famous pool.

Using this too, best DDOS protection pool..
Well, not sure if this is correct but i heard that btcguild was ddosed earlier this month.

Really? was surprised cause I always thought they have good DDOS protection...

Too many people use it, it's easy to be attacked.

So, the safety of the pool is very important.

Well, not sure if this is correct but i heard that btcguild was ddosed earlier this month.

We were.  More than half the pool was completely unaffected the entire time due to private servers.  Due to the continued attacks (instead of one burst then leaving), we also now have what is likely the most reliable DDoS protection/filtering available.  Within 24 hours more than 95% of the pool was back online, and within 72 hours we were faster than before the attacks started.  The entire time the pool was being hit by > 10 gbps worth of traffic for over a week straight, but the vast majority of miners were completely unaffected.

I know several pools. What pools have you been used?

And Now, which pool are you using? what's your reason for choosing this pool?
