I personally don't have too many choices because the market is still bleeding today, there are several coins that I invest now like, trx, matic and dot these three coins are giving decent profits lately, it seems this project is still promising so far, because I hold more of these coins. I see that they will grow even better in 2022
I am sure many promising tokens in 2022 but it is too difficult to detect which tokens will get the opportunity to increase and raise the higher price. You can only check and analyze one by one on the CMC without knowing which the tokens are. Maybe you can start research from the top 25-50 altcoin list and leave the high price coins because the target is finding a low coin price. As a start, you can check Algo, Mana, ADA, CRO, TRX, XLM, VET, HBAR. Those altcoins are on the top 50 altcoins list, but other promising altcoins can be the next hidden gems.

I would be getting in soon with the metaverse tokens. I don't have to play their games but I get the idea of investing in their tokens would suffice the craze that would be built into their ecosystem.

Many new coins now in the market but not all are good to invest. I think better to find good coins from the top 20 in coinmarketcap. But for the upcoming year better to choose those gaming coins or those with real use case because for sure it will give you good profit in the future.
Indeed, every altcoin isn’t good for investment, but many new projects with strong partnership and backers will return huge ROI than top 20 coins/tokens. Even projects from top 20 in CMC, aren’t having that much bullish rally in short term as only few projects are having hype/trend in current date. So best to DCA on those to coins/tokens.

The 2 coins that I bought and I am optimistic that they can shine are Algo and TRX, and happy because these 2 coins do not drop too high like bitcoin which drops more than 16% in a week, focus on holding for the long term will make us get big profits.

Mine will be Safepal, and some tokens in Binance or maybe tokens which have to be used like Cake, or OOE, or anything which people will still need. There are lots of them specially now that the market is still in the dip. Well, altcoins right now are in Christmas sale. Almost all is still in red due to the dump by BTC. The best one for me is, Sol. It is now trading below 200$ which is quite good to enter to. Ada is at sub 1.3$ and Uniswap at 16$. All are about half its all time high which could really give you big profit. First of all, I'm just gonna top up my bag with more btc, ETH and BNB, then aftermath look for more newly launched with promising foresight to invest on.
I will also do the same thing. Top coins would still be my personal choice since they have shown great movement and development this year. I'm sure just like BTC, it could still grow unexpectedly in the coming year. I don't want to take the risks of trying new coins especially when it comes to a long-term hold.

Totally depends with bitcoin. I was accumulating more and more metaverse and web 3.0 coins in my portfolios and waiting for another pump next year.
I would look for a new coin or token that has a market cap under $20 million usd with good fundamentals like GameFi,DeFi,Metaverse and not memecoin.

I don't understand about the meaning of "safe" and how to define it in a fluctuating market because every price is as unpredictable and full of risk as the drastic price drop on Coinmarketcap yesterday. ETH and BNB coins are the top coins and why would you doubt the safety of investing in them, if emotionally you cannot accept the risk of loss due to market factors then wait for the right moment to buy them.
For me safety usually means that I am not investing into a shitcoin that will scam me. If I can stay away from the next "shibabunnypancakeunitoken" or whatever then I am going to be safe. BTC, ETH, BNB, ADA, SOL and many top coins like that are safe for me. It can drop as much as it wants and I will not believe that it is a big deal for me. In the end we are talking about something that is very valuable here, safety is not to joke with and in this case safety means project developers are not lying and actually doing what they said they would.This is why those big names are at the top, because they do not lie to people and actually work on their projects. Price drops will happen to every single crypto, that is not something they could avoid, however if the drop is caused by a market decline that is fine, if it is caused by project developers lying then it is a safety issue, that is what I am trying to avoid.
From many days of watching the movement of the crypto market, I could learn one thing that if a new concept comes into the market, a good hype of that crypto makes a good return to their investors and now the time of Metaverse coins/tokens. It's safe as long as it doesn't experience a decline, but if there is a decline like now, then it's as if security doesn't exist and some people panic so they let go of assets like ETH and BNB that they already have.

If you want to buy those coins, you should wait until the price gets correction or it is better to buy at the bear market to get the coin at a discount price. Those coins will have the opportunity to increase this year and next year and if you can have those coins for a long time before, you are now making a decent profit from those coins. We still do not know what will happen in the next year and it needs to research more about which coins can increase. 
NFT coins or tokens are still recommended even until today, to be frank they will be relevant maybe for many years to come due to the fact that metaverse has now slowly becoming the next big thing and NFT have a really big chance of getting even famous because of it.

I am not sure if you meant NFT itself of the tokens that you use to buy NFT? Because I believe that NFT itself is so vast that there are stuff that you literally wouldn't pay 1 cent for, they do not even worth the gas fee that you pay for it. However there are also millions of dollars worth of them as well, which doesn't make sense to me but that is the reality.Even many of NFT tokens has shown record of having a really good growth and giving a really good return of investment in the long term. So, if you want to invest into directly buying one NFT then you should know what you are buying, it could worth less than 1 cent, less than gas fee, but it could worth millions of dollars as well. This is why I do not really get what we should buy into, and I never bought any NFT at all, not because I dislike NFT and just because I really do not know how to pick the good NFT ones.

I would likely focus more on the following coins and tokens in 2022:
1. BTC

3. SOL
4. BNB
5. ADA
6. NWC
7. EXRD
8. VRA
9. AXS

These are just my picks for next year to buy.
In 2022 and beyond I am more confident in holding tokens that are shaded by metaverse projects, such as The Centraland, Sandbox and others. Because lately I see the tokens under the umbrella of the Metaverse project are growing well and we can take profits, although for now almost all types of tokens/coins have decreased in price but I think it's only a natural correction.

What do you mean buying for 2022? Buying now to sell in 2022 or buying in 2022? Either way, I'm investing in what a16z, Pantera Capital, Grayscale Investments, and Coinbase Ventures are investing in, that's NEAR protocol and it's ecosystem- OCT and REF.

well, asking about coins, or tokens that could have a high price in 2022, the most common answers are popular coins on coinmarketcap. for new or young coins, it seems quite risky to own it, but the potential can exceed the popular coins listed on CMC.personally, I'd probably focus on BNB. because, if the price is pump, there is a big possibility that the price can reach $ 1k, or even be in that range.
however, if you want to hold more than 1 coin, maybe BNB, SOL, DOT, ADA, Polygon can be an option.
I will still use CMC as a good place to choose which coin good as an investment in 2022 but only the ranked 2-10, the first position is BTC needless to say it will still be the best but if buy at new ATH this year then 2022 will be a long time to hold it.

I think for us who have been in the game for so long, or at least experience the bullrun/bear market, we now that it's better to stick with the top 10 altcoins as a investment and just sit it out. Like if you have invested on the last crypto winter, ETH and or ADA and then later BNB could have given us tons of profits already.
So as far as the OP's question, I think you don't need to get things complicated on your end, just stick with the basic but solid altcoins in the top 10 or at least in the top 20 list and you will be good.

I would likely focus more on the following coins and tokens in 2022:
1. BTC
2. ETH
3. SOL
4. BNB
5. ADA
6. NWC
7. EXRD
8. VRA
9. AXS
10. MATIC
These are just my picks for next year to buy.
for upcoming 2022 i personally do not have too much options because the market still blooding today but Shiba inu give decent profit lately so i think i would invest more at this coin because seems still promising on 2022 and i watching RACA tokens too as my investment although the price currently down but i still hold few more RACA
I think that after such a long and significant growth there must be a correction so as soon as trend is broken, I will get rid of almost all altcoins that don't have something unique or are not backbone. This way I will accumulate stablecoins and I will wait for a full dip so as to enlarge my position in Bitcoin, Ethereum, Matic, BNB and some other fundamental currencies. As for the nearest future, you should consider Polkadot.
Well buying too many coins at once can be confusing and keeping track of all of those can become difficult . Yes if you just want to buy and forget about them for a year then it doesn't matter other wise, it is good to buy top 5 coins in the coinmarket cap which can give the confidence and less tension in mind and a bit of surety that these coins are gonna grow.

For me avalanche and fantom are gonna do good in the future. These two are developing a very good ecosystem for project and expanding their network. Many users are migrating to these 2 chain due to their efficient and very practical approach to token trading and even blockchain application such as gaming and many more. Ethereum still good but the price is expensive and the spend on gas fee is really heartbreaking.
I have chosen some currencies to invest in 2022 as promising currency. These are, BNB, SOL, DOT, ETH, ADA, NEAR, CAKE, ICP etc. I think these coins could surpass their previous record in 2022. So I chose this coins to invest.
Consider buying layer1 blockchain protocols, some of them are Ada, Avax, Flow this kind of projects will be very indemand in the future since most of them competes to solve the current problems like scalability issues. In the next 10 years most industries will now use blockchain technology for efficient businesses so I think accumulating this coins now and holding will be worth it.
I am sure that by 2022, we can see so many promising tokens and coins that can be considered worth risking our money with. The best strategy is to allot the majority of your funds with already proven platforms like what you mentioned: DOT, SOL, ADA and of course the most veterans like BTC and ETH. Then set aside a portion of your portfolio with new projects that may have a chance to make it according to different factors like use-cases, strong team and good reception from the marketplace. for me a coin that is in the top 50 of CMC is a promising coin. That's why I'll buy it when the price drops later. in 2022 I believe there will be a dump or maybe a bear market has started now. and I'm getting ready to buy. this will be very good too i bought it at a cheap price. although I don't know what will happen next. but buying cheap is a good strategy. coins like DOT, SOL, AVAX, ADA, NEAR, CAKE or MATIC top the list coins that I've noticed.
You might want to reconsider your list of 20 coins for investment. I once had a long list of coins for investment only to fail to regularly monitor their developments. I think 5-10 is the best numbers for investment. And before you consider buying less known altcoins, you should have already secured your Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Litecoin (LTC), and other most trusted altcoins in your safe wallet. These are for long term. The rest you should consider them short term investments.

This would become the best choice as they have been proven the use case combined with big community and good innovation to make crypto became even bigger. I have ever heard them all except check dot. This is probably a scam token and you may have invested into the scam token called check dot. This token was not comparable with another token that was already mentioned above just like vega, mina, DOT, atom, and CRO. These coins have useful products while check dot has no product. This is only a pump and dump token i guess. I have seen some new people talked this on their own thread. SOL, ADA, WILD, ILV were promising tokens at this moment. It's weird to see that you mention a token called check dot which has no reputation among crypto investors.
