I'd be interested to know exactly he sold all his LTC and why he didn't announce that he'd do that beforehand.
i think the answer to this question is perfectly clear!
he sold his LTC (or at least says he sold it) because he is a public figure with known identity who has been practically saying "i have a lot of money, here is publicly how much i own". and that can be dangerous for people in this world. it is like putting up a sign telling robbers "welcome"!!!
and he didn't announce it beforehand because it would have caused a panic sell. and then people would have cursed him for it
