Sorry but who is going to give you hashpower for one day when they can mine it themselves and earn just as much? Does not make business sense to do that.

Actually there are a few big reasons to rent out hash power over just mining.

1. Customers pre-pay for the rentals meaning you can realize a much quicker flow of money to help expand rather than waiting 6 months to mine that much.

2. Renting hash power means you can put a steady fiat income on your companies books, which is very important when fundraising or applying for loans. Banks dont look at future mined coins as realized revenue.

I could list a few more but you get the point.

Actually, I'm very interested. I know you are probably busy so I won't ask you to list any more (unless you feel inclined)... However, can you list a couple resources like websites or ebooks or anything else that I can use to research more myself?

Thanks! You seem very knowledgeable.

Are you asking about renting companies or individuals ,because most companies will not rent you hashpower for a day or hours at least 6 months ,  what algo you want to mine ?and the amount of hashpower you need.

check out www.newblock.store, you could rent for 6 month or a year. Sorry but who is going to give you hashpower for one day when they can mine it themselves and earn just as much? Does not make business sense to do that.

Hello folks,

I am currently tipping my feet into the pond of Altcoin mining and I am curious what known Services are out there for renting Hashpower?

So far I know Nicehash and miningrigrentals (seems very expensive) only...tried out NiceHash which works great but I do not like the fluctuation of my rented power, would prefer a steady stream...without paying the maximum price. But I did not find out yet how to improve the priority of my orders because sometimes order which offer less per GHz (scrypt in this case) but still get more hashing power?

And besides that as my original Question stated...do you guys know any alternatives I can use? I am talking about hourly/daily contracts which I can connect to a mining pool of my choice, NOT genesys mining et al.

That two are the only ones and they are not profitable. Also found some on amazon.com and eBay with same result. Maybe there could be a way through cloud computing on golem or amazon, where we could install mining software.
