A server that could be able to handle online games.
Do you know the specificity that the server will need to handle 50k PC's ?
Buying your own stuff is also a good idea.
Is this the better solution ? Buy a customize server on a host compagny (OVH looks OK for this, right ?) ? Or it may be better if we buy our own stuff.
You could search for a hosting company that lets you customize your own server.

My team want to run a mining pool and we are trying to get some informations.
What server should we use ? Is it better to get a dedicated server or should we buy our own ? Server has to be fully secure and anonymous and also powerful. We are aiming about 50'000 or 100'000 PC's running for the pool.
