Actually i think i'm going to build a RPI cluster. (10 maybe) with a 20+ TB storage. within a Small Metal box (20x20) with Solar cells onto + a battery cluster within (or a large one) to make a spell powered computer. + a screen on top. just for lolz

i was thinking about building a Server for storage with a metal box + Solar cells to make it self powered, but i'm not sure. do you guys have any ideas ?

I made a LAMP server with mine. It runs surprisingly well and is pretty responsive for a $40 little machine. I would recommend moving the OS to a flash drive as the SD card doesn't last long being accessed that often.
A storage box may need a little more hardware. Freenas and Openfiler both take advantage of higher end raid cards, chipsets, ram, etc... Of course this dost really help you it simple shoots down an idea. What about some home automation or environmental monitoring?
