What works for me: Use MegaMiner (find here in the forum) with Miningpoolhub.com and zpool.ca

Megaminer is an automated Pool/Algo-Switcher, which means, you will have your cards mine, whatever is calculated more profitable atm. There are many settings to tweak, ie. which algos to mine or not to mine, and you can compute profit after electricity cost (can edit cost in into config). On the "dashboard" you also see what is mined right now and how much profit it yields after electricity costs.

I'm pretty content with how that works.

We are mining now ETC - now there is not so much profit from it but that was in ETH time also. ETC will have big gains in 2018.

same, I have 6xR9 series(290,290x,390) and longest in ETH. atm, to mine ETC so far enough profit. as far as I know R9 series excellent on Ethash Algorithm.

Now a lot of coins decreased profit. I don't recommend you switch the algorithm. You probably won't get the best result on any algorithm. I think that in your case zcash for is the best option. Your GPU 1080 ti is applicable on many coins but all other GPU can't be applied to mining of other coins.

Your 1080ti is good but those R9 cards are meh.
They now consume more power than what coins they earn. Unless electricity is cheap where you live i don't recommend mining with those anymore.

I think that if you're after long term profit mining nicehash still has the bst profitability for AMD cards but scouting for profitable coins outside of that ain't easy. ZCash has been consistently profitable for AMD, you could also try eth/decred or whatever daggerhashimoto coin can also be dualmined with decred. The case with those has been that they're also consistently more profitable. Check out the ETH+ section of http://whattomine.com. At least of as long as ETH remains available to mine this could be worth looking at.
