Before my mother passed away from breast cancer, she had a say in planning her funeral. She told my big sister to have everyone wear pink and/or Hawaiian attire, hand out lime popsicles, and to end the service with the song "Shout" by The Isley Brothers and tell everyone to get up and dance! Just a few of her favorite things. There were hundreds of people, standing room only. While it was a very sad day for many, it was certainly a celebration of her life more than anything.

I just want Prince to resurrect and do the speaking part of “Let’s go crazy,”
“Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to celebrate this thing we call life. Electric word, life...” And then maybe “Killer Queen” or “California Dreamin” by the Mamas and the Papas because it would give my family the opportunity for anger and irritation because it is always played at the wrong times.
