You betta change the exchange, if it’s not functioning for the long run

My exchange isn’t for the long run,  but now it disables trading

And what are you waiting for? It’s better to move on other exchange

Agree, but you know,  it’s like a habit to trade on the certain platform, and other wouldn’t be so convenient.

well, velvet exchange just launched their new website, it looks simple, https://velvet.exchange/#/pages/about/equal

That will be a bad moment for us, and we cannot do anything except waiting for explaining from them. I hope that it will not happen in any exchanges in out there, so we don't have to stop from what we did in that exchange, and we could still trade and make a profit from any coins. Maybe if the exchanges want to disable trading, they will announce to their members so the user can prepare before they disable trading.

it will be delisted on 27/3

what could be done?
I know this is your first post and you didnt tend to logged in again and im pretty sure that you didnt read up most people answer here.

When its delisted on any exchange then you are typically holding up a shitcoin. When exchangers do this then it do signify that this
coin doesnt have any volume for traders to trade on so even if you do able to pull out your coin holding if it isnt not traded anywhere then
its still useless.

As i know there is nothing to do for it.Before de-listing a coin exchanges announce it and give time to make transfers. I think you have missed that announcement.By the way Best thing is keep going on without worries.
For his own issue, I think its trading that was disabled and as at the time he made the post, they were yet to delist it, since they have not delisted it, if it’s an ECR-20 token, he can still transfer it to his ether wallet and then send it to another exchange where he can sell it as quick as possible.

It is not all exchanges will make that decision at the same time, but the moment an exchange plans to delist a coin, then that coin is already having issue and won’t be long before other exchanges too get tired of it, so before it gets to that point, he can just transfer it to another exchange and sell it for bitcoin to those who would later be a bag holder of it.

You have nothing to do against delisting ... Look for another exchange or try to trade your coin  P2P with other users

Agree. That is why you need to monitor you coins in exchanges from time to time because they always give a time to sell or transfer your token before do the delisting. I receives some emails in exchanges when they plan that but most of the other just does not care to send me one. I also have a rule when I buy shitcoin is that it need to be available on another exchange so in case that happens, I have the option to transfer it.

An exchange delisting a coin is usually strong signal that support for the project is abysmally low or the project is aout to die. There is not much you can do about that, unless you are lucky to find an alternative exchange for it.Sometimes, if there is enough interest, you could push for its listing on some decentralized exchanges. The process is less rigorous than with centralized exchanges.

Repeating the same thing over and over again just don't make any sense.
Your right, it only makes sense if OP will lock this thread but I don't know if OP has time to spend looking back in here since he never been active on this thread after his post. Hope OP would think about it and have this place abandon, and no more replies after my post.

What can you do about it? If the exchange decided to disable trading on a certain coin, then this is its decision. You will not be able to influence it, so you should find another exchange.

This is always happen a certain altcoin no value and no future it will be delisted in the exchange. You cannot do with it unless it listed in other exchange and sell it their. Find an alternative exchange if it has, if no other exchange your coin will be useless so you must be updated and check always their project for you to sell early.

Now a lot of such worthless coins, I would say more than 90%. Especially if the coin is traded only on such a little-known exchange as coinexchange. In such cases, the coin or token should be sold immediately after receipt. However, there are options that there are no buy orders at the very beginning.

The simplest choice is to check out if there are any other places that allow you to trade that coin and withdraw that coin to that exchange and trade it there. Simple as that.

Moreover, it gets more difficult when you find out that there are no other places you can trade that coin or all others are now horribly low that it wouldn't even make sense to trade since it worth peanuts to you.

It is a very tricky subject in that case since some coin that got delisted by an exchange must have very little volume to get delisted, exchanges make their money from that volume and trades so removing a coin is not an easy task and they are literally saying "we don't need the money from allowing trade of this coin" so that means if it gets delisted it must be not on the right path at all.

No other way in transferring the coins to other exchanges where it can be traded or the coins can be kept back into our ether wallets. I am sure the exchanges who is about to delist a coin, will announce the customers of its delisting before hand. This will be more than enough to safeguard the coin we have in our ether wallets until the coin is listed on other exchange.
That would be the last option or our token won't be withdrawn. In some cases that they are delisting some coins cause there is no market volume and it is just accumulating space in a certain exchange. A lot of coins having this scenario and sadly it never gave chances to find new exchanges where we can trade it. Definitely, it will turn into a dead coin.
I don’t know if that is the main reason for delisting coins because I have a portfolio that I have already renamed BAG HOLDER. LOL. Most of the tokens there are already dead but they have still not been delisted, just that they have no trade volume at all and I don’t know how to even get rid of them, because no one seems to be interested in the sell order that I have placed.

I just believe that once a token has been delisted from an exchange, it must have been having issue with other exchanges too and that will be the end of it all, just to forget about it and count those projects has one of those Ponzi scheme we have falling into.

Probably look for another exchange? Or If so here are some of my suggestions for you, this is just my suggestion you can either follow it or just get any idea:

- Visit their social media accounts and look for informations
- Join their telegram group and ask their representatives/admin about the status of the project and the coin
- Look where you can use the coin you're currently holding
- Sell it before it will be de listed

so far here are the things I know you can do if it's going to be disable from the exchange.

Move it to another exchange. that exchange may delist that coin but in another exchange it might not be delisted. Also there are times like in Bittrex they already announced that there's a coin that will be delisted but after the announcement of being delisted and the volume went up, coin was not delisted anymore.

there are lots of ways available in this developing Crypto market so we cannot be worried about single exchanges will start some type of trading and will not be a big problem there are lots of options available for us to make our decision to be changed.
The only solution will be for the holder to just move it to another exchange that it is being listed on, just like the way BSV was delisted from Binance recently and everyone taught that would be the end, but the price is still growing strong and trades going on in other exchanges they are being listed on.

It is really not so easy to make payment to all these exchanges for listing, so some of these coins must surely be delisted from some exchanges to cut running cost of the project, so we have to understand some of these project that are being delisted and not completely see them as a bad one, we can simply just find them on another exchange.

If you find or there is another exchanger who is still opening the trade for that token then immediately move your token, if you can immediately sell the token before it is worthless. Because there is nothing you can do except move the token to another wallet, I've experienced this case.

Just move the coin you have to another exchange site. if you don't find it, then its your loss because you didn't sell it when you still had a chance. You have to know that many exchanges will remove/ delisted a coin if there is no movement or activity on the coin in their market

If the trading stops and your coin would be delisted, all you have to do is to withdraw it right away. It might be a shitcoin that is why it is being delisted but if it has a certain value, keep it safe and withdraw it right away.

There is nothing you can do, unless you can find some other exchange, possibly a decentralized one, where you can trade it. As stated on the coinexchange.io exchange website, they tried to contact the dev team and no one responded.

Quote
The Crimsoncoin (CRMSN) currency will be delisted on 27-03-2019
CrimsonCoin is being delisted. The coin appears to be abandoned. We have attempted to contact the developers but we received no response. The market will be halted on the 27th of February and the wallet will be disabled on the 27th of March.
Source: https://www.coinexchange.io/market/CRMSN/BTC

It seems it is practically a dead coin.

Unfortunately, it is the harsh truth. Once an exchange disables a coin, or for that matter declines for its registration, then, that would mean that such coin is technically dead and won't have the same capacity to be used in a transaction or be exchanged for in any platform. Actually, many coins share that fate already, and its poor users who have believed in those coins, are now left with useful pieces of coins in their wallets without any use. For myself, I have experienced this when I joined a campaign, and it turned out, that such campaign didn't register their coin on the usual trading platform because they are eyeing to register it in an up-and-coming platform that never made it through, so there it is, I have that coin up until now, but with virtually nothing to use it for.

If there is somehow a news or kind of announcement that the coin you are holding will be delisted in an exchange, you had to sell it right away to at least get back some of your invested money. But the thing is, if you didn't listened with the delisting issue, when you act upon greed and ignorance, you can not do anything about it. Just sit back and considered it as a dead coin.

It serves as a huge red flag and hints at shady deals going on in that project, if I was not already an investor but was watching the currency, I would surely not be investing.
Of you already own those coins, you have an option to panic sell before the official delisting, it would go for almost nothing considering the controversy, and there's a slight possibility that the project would survive and thrive.
If there's already an issue then you need to find alternative exchange where you sell it out right away avoiding to lose more of its value, the time for you is really getting shorter so you have to decide as quickly as you can, you can use those sold amount to invest again with other coins just make sure to review more so things like this wont happen again to your investment.

Of course, it’s very bad to get into such a situation, but it seems to me that there are really more factors that can influence such actions. Perhaps problems have a project with a certain exchange and if these coins are traded on other trading platforms without problems, then in this case you need to withdraw your funds from this trading exchange very quickly. In any case, the situation is very bad and I have not yet encountered such a problem. But lately I have been observing that very often users of cryptocurrency discuss problems after delisting certain coins.

This is a bad and pathetic condition to be honest. There has to be a way to at least get the value back. Delisting the coins is not a solution. Couple of best exchanges I know have been very much appreciated in this regard. Remember when an exchange has high demand among the crypto users, be sure that it will be the best exchange and will not de-list your coins just because of disabling trading for certain currency.

This is really a problem. altcoins with no potential to die like that and other exchanges do not want to help it.
I think you should wait and sell for those who want to purchase bad altcoins.
Sell to people that wants to purchase bad altcoins ?
Is that another form of business going on within the cryptocurrency world that I am not aware of ?

If not, I really doubt if any sane person will see a project without future and has even proven itself week by dying off the market, then someone purchasing it. Like you said yourself, if other available exchanges are not willing to help, how then will the buyer make use of it, once a coin is bad, it’s bad, it can never be revived again.

Move it to ERC-20 wallet if there is no alternative exchanger for that particular coin. However if you lose hope that it'll be listed in other exchange and you don't see future about it, just let it be delisted in that exchange so that your effort won't be wasted.

I guess another shit coin like sic. When an exchange removes a coin from there site, that is a enough red light that all isn't well with the team. I suggest you withdraw to personal wallet if it is compatible, then you forget it & move forward.
if you deactivate it while we may still be able to wait, but if it is permanent then it is a trading risk, because all trades are always risky. I think only certain coins and unreliable ones can be deactivated, this won't happen to highly trusted coins like Bitcoin.

I never experience this one before but i think if they stopped that coin to be traded there will be no other way for you to convert it aside from withdrawing it which is too hard for you i guess. That coin will be useless soon, go ask the developer on how you can sold that coin withdraw it as soon as possible.

If they have stopped trading with the coin you mentioned there is nothing you can do, looks like you will be a bag holder for the rest of your life, i am sure the exchange will allow you to withdraw those funds to your own wallet before removing the coin entirely, i am not sure which coin you are talking about as i could not find that in coinmarketcap.

It's a dying coin (or should I say already dead) for quiet period of time. Obviously it won't appear in Coinmarketcap now.

Yes as always exchanges will allow withdrawal of a delisting coin. But after the timeframe given and no withdrawal from the part of the user have been done, the coins are gone for good although it's fine rather than to become a designed in a user's own wallet. I doubt developers of that coin will come back and will attempt to revived it.

This disabled tokens or coins has happened to my two coins before and I was able to transfer them to another exchange.  Mozo was disabled and delisted from coinrail after I transfer my tokens there for trading and I even bought more mozo from there but I was surprised to see it disabled after few days and panic set in.  However, I was able to transfer my values to idex after I find out that my tokens is still there.  The same thing happened to me in gym tokens and I have to quickly applying the same procedure in moving it to another exchange.  It is not difficult it is the same way you move coins from one exchange to another!

Exchanges won't suddenly disable trading of certain currency. Exchanges give notification with some deadline for the disabling of the certain trading pair. Before that we need to make use of the trading access and beyond that it goes a valueless token. In some projects they provide with the access to swap for other coins.

Correct, they will give their user based some time to really liquidate their assets. The only thing to do right now is just move out the coin, but you need to look at with exchange are still supporting it.

Otherwise, he can't do anything about it since it worthless, another expensive lessons to learn again. If we are holding coins that has no potential, it's better to really dump then accept the lost and then move on.

If you have invested in an option that is traded on a single market, this is due to your ambition to earn money. If you do not have a market alternative to sell your coins or tokens, the only thing you can do is P2P trading. Of course, there is a chance that this trade will be damaged, but you have no other alternative.

Just withdraw it to your wallet. If its long term hodl than wait for listing on another exchange (as i see its not listed anywhere now) or try to sell it on bitcointalk if you want to get rid of it
If its not shitcoin (it looks like it is) perhaps someone would buy it. If not there is nothing else to do.
Common man, bitcointalk is not a dumping site for dead shit coins, how will he be able to do that, it will also be unfair to take advantage of newbies here on bitcointalk that knows nothing about the deadcoins, he should just keep holding the coin till one day, something miraculous happens that will make the coin come back, it might also be a paused project, hopefully the will resume it once the time comes.

I also have lots of delisted coins in my Binance, I usually overlook them once I get to my wallet, I wish it was possible to filter them on Binance so I don’t keep seeing those shit coins again.

Coinexchange has a great history of listing absolute shitcoins and delisting them when bag holders reach a certain amount, they probably getting good percentage of all the funds from users that fall for their trap considering they are doing this same thing over and over for years now.

Not sure how exactly they are operating but I can guess, they probably create a reasonable amount of fake volume for these shitcoins when the trading starts for them and other users thinking there are users actually buying that for 1 satoshi(for example) and the poor user probably thinks that's a good idea to buy it at one sat and sell it at 2 sat, and 2x his total funds, so he buys it but what happens is sell orders at 2 sat accumulates so then the user change his sell order to 1 satoshi (if the user is late there can be huge amount of sell orders even at this price), but no one is buying (because both: 1. The volume that is showing buy orders going through are fake ; 2. Real users by seeing that huge amount of sell orders at 2 satoshi will change his mind about buying;

So at that point what will happen is the user will be stuck with that shitcoin that doesn't have any value whatsoever, but the user probably has some hope even then that the order still might go through if the volume comes back, but nahhh , what happens in reality is some days or months later Coinexchnage will release an announcement that the referred shitcoin is getting delisted from there, so they tell you to withdraw your shitcoin to your personal wallet and 99% of the time that coin is not listed anywhere else so selling anywhere else is not an option either.

I think before an exchange delist a coin, they announce the delisting of the coin 1 month before the coin is being delisted, so I don't think it is a big of an issue, all you need to do is to find a way to dump the coin for another crypto coin that will not be delisted, maybe you can swap for either BTC or ETH or better still you can as well check on coinmarketcap to see which other exchange that the coin is being listed and not delisting soonest and then send your coin to that exchange if you must trade the coin.

Twitter[1] is dead, and their GitHub repo[2] is dead. You're pretty much holding a worthless coin now. Might as well leave it there to rot.

Exactly, and that’s why it will be delisted. Now you can’t do anything about it now since the coin is not active anymore, not unless you still find some trading sites where that coin is available. If its just a small amount better to move on and learn from this mistake, that coin is totally useless not unless the dev has something to say on this.

Even coingecko delisted this coin(crimson) it looks like a shitcoin with no value they selling it for 1 sat. I'm sure devs have no budget to be listed it to other exchange.

So, if you coin still in coinexchange.io transferring to an official wallet is not possible because this project is totally dead and I am sure no one can save this coin because even the developer is dead.

Try to find exchanges or wallets that really support the coin if everything is possible and still have a way to do it like that if you can't, it is at your own risk because there is no way if you will close everything, plans for the future are more careful in choosing something from coins or from exchanges, whatever the type, don't hold junk coins, it's just a waste of your own time.
No, I tried to find a wallet but there is no wallet from their GitHub it seems they have just created this coin for churn and burn.

WIthdraw it before delisted. Usually people do that thing. Because you can loss your coin if save in delisted market. For sure check what exchanger still support it, if there are no exchanger left, sell it. Both decision make you loss your investment. But it is risk.

It looks like some coin that the team has abandoned since they have not responded. You can't do anything if the coin has been taken off exchange. Forget it and keep going.

You can look for announcement from the particular exchange where you want to trade about when the trading begins,if there is nothing means you can't do anything about it just hold and it looks like a dead coin so no point of holding too.

I guess another shit coin like sic. When an exchange removes a coin from there site, that is a enough red light that all isn't well with the team. I suggest you withdraw to personal wallet if it is compatible, then you forget it & move forward.

Where have you been during the last one and a half year? Didn't you check your assets regularly during that period? Just curious why do you worry about this recently while the project seems to be dead long time ago with no updates from the developer.
If I'm on your position, I'll just withdraw it into personal wallet (if any). If the wallet is not even working anymore, simply leave it and move on to other coins which has better potential to hold.

it is too late to ask what to do, you should now start asking what you should have done so that you can learn about the mistakes that you made here and then in the future don't repeat them. that is the only way you get better at trading and start earning real profit.

mistakes:
- buying an altcoin that has been obviously useless.
- bigger mistake: bag holding that garbage instead of dumping it when it was the right time during its pump.
- continuing to bag hold that garbage even when the market died which was obvious from the decreasing price and non-existent volume
- continuing to bag hold that garbage even when the exchange warned you about them delisting it.

what could be done?
Make sure to withdraw everything and install a wallet that can be compatible with this coin, as you don't have any other options since the exchange
decided to removed this coin inside their exchange, while waiting for new exchange try also to review the project if they still have future plans for
continuing this project.

Just withdraw it to your wallet. If its long term hodl than wait for listing on another exchange (as i see its not listed anywhere now) or try to sell it on bitcointalk if you want to get rid of it
If its not shitcoin (it looks like it is) perhaps someone would buy it. If not there is nothing else to do.

unless you can find some other exchange, possibly a decentralized one, where you can trade it.

Well. Its not etherum token. Its coin and i don't think that any decentralized exchange support this blockchain.

Might as well leave it there to rot.
Might be the best idea. At liest you won't download any malware with its wallet.

There is nothing you can do, unless you can find some other exchange, possibly a decentralized one, where you can trade it. As stated on the coinexchange.io exchange website, they tried to contact the dev team and no one responded.

CrimsonCoin is being delisted. The coin appears to be abandoned. We have attempted to contact the developers but we received no response. The market will be halted on the 27th of February and the wallet will be disabled on the 27th of March.

You have nothing to do against delisting ... Look for another exchange or try to trade your coin  P2P with other users
