Hi guys

Im looking at buying into an ico... using ethereum funds

Once you're in the ico.... and say for a basic example you buy the ico at $1 and it jumps straight to $2 and i dont want to hold them... how do i sell them?

Whats the process?

Thanks in advance

If you buy into ICO at 1$ and it jumped straight at 2$ when it is listed to an exchange then just simply deposit it in an exchange then sell it there. All you have to do is transfer the said tokens into exchanges via sending it to their deposit addresses if the particular token you want to trade is listed on an exchange that is. If it still isn't all you can do is wait for it to be listed on an exchange. If it jumped in price when it is still not listed to an exchange, all you can do is trade it peer to peer and you will need to find a buyer willing to buy but since you are still looking into an ICO, it is very unlikely for it to jump straight to 2$ from 1$ after you invest so hodl.

All you have to do is make questions answered already: when tokens, when exchanges, when release, price, when Lambo (NO). Just wait for news and read the whitepaper.

Leave it on their website until they have distributed the coins. If it's ETH based then use myetherwallet and send the coins there. Otherwise you have to wait until they have developed a wallet to hold the coins in.

To do this you need to wait for the listing on any stock exchange (usually occurs within two weeks after the ico)

Depends on many things.
Do you have faith in the project?  Do you have a set goal in mind for how much profit you want to make? Are you usually a trader or a long term holder?

Just hold the coins you get from the ICO. Pay attention to which exchanges the coin is on and also track the price of it. If you plan to sell it at an high(if it ever reaches it) you will want to keep the price in mind. If you plan to hold the coin for the long term then just hold it.

If you participate in an ico you really have to hold it, because if you want to sell when there is no exchanges you can sell it to individuals and certainly you lose, better hold until you get a profit

Usually what i do after buying new coins i just keep amd hold on to it. I usually check and research the coins that i am buying. Filtering coins that has great potential is a must. Buying new coins is just like buying penny stock you are not sure if it will work out but if it does you will feel you win a jackpot.

before ico selling end you can't selling youre coin
you must wait until ico selling end and listing to exchanger, because ussualy coin can distribution after ico selling end

They are all different. Some don't distribute coins until after the whole ICO is over. Some do it before the ICO is over. You could find a buyer yourself, or wait for the coin to be listed on an exchange. But the great thing about an ICO is the potential for future growth. Because of the barrier to entry, there is a larger portion of the population who have say, Bitcoin, but don't have any ICO coins. That is one of the reason they shoot up in value - an influx of new users.

The token you bougt during its ico, must be a one which is traded on secondary markets. If yes, you can turn your ico tokens into ethereum or bitcoin. This is the logic how you get ethereum back from your tokens.

It seems you must learn about hos ico works, because you can't dump it at the same time because you must try to accumulate your lost at the moment. If the price already above the ico price and you can dump it anytime as you want.
Learn more about ico before try to join in them.
