You can do so many things with your bitcoin. First you can trade your bitcoin with some altcoins. There are so many good ICO projects. You can invest that bitcoin to ICO project. If you can't do anything with bitcoin just hold it.

first of all you need to realize what you want: invest or trade and make profits by speculation.
speculating is more risky but may bring much more profits.

although you might not lose much while speculating as you can not use leverage for that. so, I'd rather trade BTC.

I don’t know if this is the correct discussion board to post this.

I already earned some bitcoin (around $300). Should I educate my self with trading and engage on it, should I try investing on projects? Or should I just hold it for now? I just need some tips from the experts. Thank you so much!

It depends what you want to do in the future, off course education is good, but if you will decide to work full time in crypto, than its one course of action and if you just want to invest a bit, the safest bet is Bitcoin.

In my opinion, the best way for you to do is to HODL it for now. I am assuming that you are not knowledgeable on trading yet, you will be taking a lot of risk if you invest in ICO's. You need to know the basics on trading before investing on ICO's for you to minimize the risk of investing in a bad ICO. Once you are knowledgeable, you can go ahead and try investing. There are ICO's that will accept your money. You can also join bounties for ICO's, its an alternative way of earning money.

First of all, should say that you have taken the initiative by earning $300. Please consider below & execute.

1. You should continue accumulating bitcoins as the way you did it
2. Either you can move to Trading, Holding or Investing in ICOs.
3. If you do trading be on alert on market movements, BTC fluctuations, using the crypto exchanges are core.
4. Some limitations by the governments & exchanges or other related rules can be effected for trading.
5. Holding is the best way of grabbing a good profit by investing in good projects.
6. Invest in some good ICOs to gain 2x,3x even 10X or 100X.
7. To do all these patients & your skill set is the core.

It depends on your risk profile to invest your Bitcoins or not. The core principle of Bitcoin says that Bitcoin is a payment system so we should use it to pay the bills of goods and services but as it is another form of money, we can choose to invest in other options too but as I said, it depends on the risk profile of the investor. I would recommend you doing your own research before taking any investment decision. Holding is also an investment in my opinion.

Invest  it on icos then sell it if you know you already made a profit from it,  then invest again till your money reach 1000$, then you may start trading using that amount .

If i were you i would invest part of those 300$ in some alt-coin with a good project and strong community, an alt-coin that you belive will rise in the future: buy some and hold.
Then i would use the other part (100$?) to start trading in short term.

But before starting trading you should choose a trustable exchange (it's not easy to find), ask here in the forum for it but don't forget to do your own research, people can advice you but in the end the one who take the risks is you.

I hope to gain soon that amount and start trading too...
Good luck Wink

If you didnt tried to trade before, don't trade on the all money. Just try to trade on 50$ at first.

I think the best strategy now is to hold. BTC is going to rise continuously and if you're not educated about trading you can easily and quite fast lose everything you've earned. You can check bitcoinwiki to study trading principles first

Don't take anyone's advice about what will happen with the currency, do your homework, learn about Bitcoin and come to a conclusion. Personally I believe we are just starting, but that's my own opinion and you shouldn't consider that as investment advice as well. A few pointers for buying and holding

Everyone has their own expertise. Some are good at reading and doing research on projects probably for ICOs, some are good at day trading, some are good at  long term trades, etc. Research on all of them. Choose the one that best fits your current knowledge and what you prefer doing.
This really helps a lot! I have a last question though. Personally what do you prefer between trading and investing?

I personally do both. But the trading I do isn't like what people usually do(day trading). I personally only make trades like every week or so. I find day trading very tiring and my sleep has been affected negatively. Which one should you go with? Try out day trading in like maybe a day or two. If you found success with it and if you somewhat enjoy it, then probably go with it. Just make sure to not go all in with your trades. Only risk like probably less than 5% of your bank roll at every trade since you're just starting out.

I think you should consider doing some research first before speding those BTC you have. I have non but ive read some. Reasearch then try to understand it. Try to see where you could do best on most of the options available. You dont wanna get blame buly yourself at the end of the day.

You should invest it, whether on other altcoins for trading or a project you believe will move up very well. 300 is not an amount you should hold for profits

I went to write a reply to this post, but mjglqw has summed it up perfectly.

Find what suits not only your skillset, but also your lifestyle. Do you have time to day trade? Do you want to find a project, invest, and sit on it for months/years?

Find your niche and stick to it.

Good luck out there!
