Just sell them mate, then if you really want mining rigs try to buy something more profitable like  x13 / x15 asiics once that comes , i belive however POS may be the future.

How long are these miners exactly? If they aren't loud maybe someone with free electricity can buy them

What about some low diff coins like Asiccoin and convert them into LTC? When BTC/LTC goes back to the rate it had 2 or 3 weeks ago, it's better than nothing.

Hi,

I have about 48 USB antminer s2's with a 49 powered switch and a raspberry running minepeon. Obviously there is no use in mining Bitcoins with it for a while now.

Apart from selling the hardware, any advice what to mine with them to yield at least some coins (I don't expect profits just not 0.0000000001 a day)

Thanks for taking the time to reply

It is almost christmas, they will do a nice decoration on your christmas tree

jajaj you made me laught Tongue

You should just sell them locally or on eBay. People over pay for these because they want to get into the hobby of mining.

well only if you have lucky you will sell it, you know everything related to buy minning hardware goes in that way, i mean you just wake up one day and check that your mining hardware is just a jalopy in your room.

This is sad, but you know there is no a good end for it, as @adaseb sayd, you can try to sell it, "maybe" there is someone who want to wasted his money for "nothing", just for the fun... who know? Smiley

Yes you would be surprised but there actually are people out there that want to get into the mining game. They don't care if they ever ROI. Just for a hobby.

My S1 hardly gets any BTC any more so I've pointed it towards the pool in my signature and mine joulecoin. The difficulty is still pretty low and I get quite a few coins every day.

I have seen people sell them on ebay to newbies for ok money. You might just want to try and liquidate them all.

If you like a certain coin you could point it at their pool and gather some coins. I'm talking about coin specific payout multipools.

Assuming you meant U2 and not S2 Smiley

Point them to solo pool and try your luck at the lottery.  96GH/s isn't awful... just straight mining BTC on a typical pool you would expect to earn 0.001219BTC a day.  You could also try some of the multi-pools so you get a bit of variety.
