Unless they have a sign; what are they gaining? Even if they wear a sign and if the Sign payee ain't having an issue; I don't think others should have one; unless he is tagged for some scam or cheating; it's evident that he is an exclusive bounty hunter and makes the bare minimum posts required to get paid. If the ICO ain't moderating it; let him do it. I personally don't think that shit-posting should be a ban-worthy thing.

The motive of Signs is to get promotion; a form of advert, in times when cringe ads are becoming a thing; I dunno if this ain't grabbing eyes. Wink

I think you guys are misunderstanding BTCforjoe or maybe I am? But, what I can gather from his reply is that people who are participating in bounty campaigns without posting anywhere else aren't a particularly great member to the forum. As in they don't contribute anything, and only take.

There's many people who don't use signatures to earn, and there's many people who contributed here before campaigns were a big thing and now use them. I might be a little biased here, but I don't see a problem with people posting and earning from it if they were doing that anyway. Even if they are posting more to earn as long as it's of good quality I don't see the issue.

By entering it you won't be affected by monthly merit points requirements, on the over hand in this mode possibility of writing the messages is equal to zero.

That's just a draft, don't judge me too hard.

I know that's kinda hard task, but it can be done either by adding some requirement for obtaining "monthly merit point" (for instance 1 point for Junior 2 for Member 4 for Full and so on) thus shitposters won't be able to get away that easy.

He would be surprised not to rank up above Jr. When I first found this forum, I was under the impression, that nobody read other's posts and reply with complete nonsense. Refusing to play along costed me a greater time to rank up and eventually I stuck a fortnight from Full Member when merits were introduced. But I don't regret, spamming will make you an imbecile.

Although, I don't think it's specifically against the rules to only post bounty sign ups etc. Although, from my stand point I think he's a shitposter. Probably not justifying him being reported, but certainly should be rejected from campaigns.

Most of his posts are from bounties, I'm glad that the merit system has been implemented, back in the old days lots of users here in this forum ranks up just by shitposting like this. It's very unfair for everyone because he earns without being useful in the community, Campaign manager should be warned about this type of people.

Yep. That's also a issue that isn't easily corrected without either only allowing approved users or banning campaigns altogether. Maybe someone can come up with a verified/trusted campaign manager list like there is escrow lists out there, but these are up for manipulation by it's owners.

I think it's best to restrict those who are participating in campaigns and setup a payment for signatures like hilariousandco suggests. Otherwise, the forum is going to continually go down the shitter no matter how many moderation occurs. Perhaps, campaign managers should be treated as advocating spam if they aren't doing their job and removing those who are spamming and receive harsh pentalties themselves. Although, I think the paid signatures is the best route without providing an headache for the staff members.

Exactly! One liner posts should not be considered spam right from the start. Depends on conversation, sometimes spam is just the opposite.
