The matches I view these days seems more like a training in session without the fans at their post booing and cheering up players. You know that celebration when a player scores and races to salute the fans, the tension the fans build in the players to increase performance, the noise to raise enthusiasm and others, they are all gone. It's just not like soccer without fans.

Aha, totally agree on those ones. I've been analyzing scores and results of Bayern Munich recently, here on 55goal tables, and what I should admit, they show pretty awesome results, if we compare their games in the previous years. Now I think to make bets on them, and see for what it will lead to.

You can cheer on the players online, but now you still have to be careful not to gather and pay more attention to health issues.

Even though soccer this season is very different, because it is still in a pandemic situation. We must still be grateful because we can
still watch our favorite team play, even though we can only watch from home. And most importantly, sports betting can still run,
so I can still play sports betting every week. Indeed, the excitement of the match was slightly reduced, due to the absence of crowd
at the stadium. But it doesn't matter to me, because we must be able to adapt to the current situation.

that is actually the important thing - their game is already happening live, minus the audience. but yeah, at least betting on this sports is alive again. dont ask too much as the vaccine is not yet out. maybe when the vaccine is already available to the public, thats the time that they will think to accept audience again in the stadium. but for now, be grateful that sports are coming on the air again.

I see that some big leagues let fans to visit stadiums, like Ligue 1, Eredivisie, Ekstraklasa or Belgian league. There is limited number of fans there, but it gives much more enjoyable experience while watching games. I hope other leagues will follow these examples. Limited number of spectators with distancing between them don't put people in danger.
Actually, I missed live football so much that now I'm visiting games of my local team, despite that they are playing in 4th or 5th division and players are just amateurs who are playing after work Cheesy.
Seems that Virus is here to stay for long, so I think we should return to normal life as much as possible in such occasion.
And I think that players getting Covid-19 will be normal thing this season, something like injuries. And if they are team leaders and they will have to go into quarantine, we can expect some strange results.
Personally i will not suggest you or anyone else to go to stadium for watching live matches but you can express your love by supporting your favorite team through social media. Just like you can easily post your line on their official posts which will definitely inspire team boys.
I'm not really sure how it can inspire players? Could you elaborate.
I like the way you think and have spoken. Well said.

The Covid19 has spent almost the whole year with us already, if it's here to stay, then we've just got to get used to it and keep the vulnerable that includes the aged persons and those with pulmonary or heart related diseases. From my view point, almost people of every endeavor are out in their various fields now. We are all tired, it feels like living in captivity.

I sometimes wonder how they would  handled the situation if there were no television, social media, internet etc... would they still take the extreme approaches? Or send the spectators back home if there is another crisis?
The sides involved in making decisions in this crisis seem to be holding strongly to what they think is right rather working together and copying each other good/reasonble ideas.

Every pandemic and situation is different. Few months back no one was sure when the sports will be resumed. Many people though that it may not resume in 2020 but thanks to the players and the management who have arranged the matches keeping in view the pandemic precautions. We can afford to have no crowd in the stadium but at least we have the option to watch these live matches on our TV screens and also can bet on them.
Slowly everything is getting to the normal condition. During the pandemic people weren't allowed to watch from the stadium, now with limitations limited number of audience were allowed to watch the match. As said there is less chance to watch matches few months back, now people have known better about the virus and has begun to follow all the guidelines putforth by the government. Particularly more players got affected and now slowly everyone getting into the practice session. So, the rescheduled leagues will commence one by one.

Even if we can't support our favorite teams and cheer them up while they are in the arena, there are a lot of things that we can do to cheer them up.

Social media is a powerful tool to support the teams that we want. Soccer has a lot of community supporters and a lot of fan so it is never become worthless, there are still platforms where we can show our love and support in that sports, by merch, by sports betting, and campaigns. Football is really the most popular sports in Europe and other countries besides basketball, but still they can continue the season just like what NBA did.

They just need to follow the safety protocols in order to put it into place and prevent spreading the disease to other players and staffs.

Surely there paycheck would drop and it would be a rather very uncomfortable situation for the players. Having to adjust and live a life they are no longer use to and thoughts of it might be brought along to the pitch, which can make the team have a bad game.
The Covid19 totally destroyed last champions league. Something that we celebrate even outside the pitch and viewing centers, we viewed as though we were in sorrow.
I can still recall the last two finals that Real Madrid won, with players flagging their country, dancing on the pitch, smiling and waving at fans, drinking and snapping with the UCL Trophy and more. But now, everything is just a hurry to live the pitch.
The silver lining in the dark clouds is got to start shining.

It will be different from any other season. No audience and strict epidemic rules that might become even harsher with coming of fall.
Without audience and lack of competitions some teams might get demotivated and their paycheck might get lower too.
I think soccer will survive although with severe consequences and the question is whether we will ever get back to normal.

I definitely agree with you. The liveliness of the audience certainly brings some type of vibe that consequently impact the mood of the players as well. If only this Covid pandemic would end and just vanish. I miss the old days.
Just endure it.

The covid19 won't be that long when vaccines are already made. Many vaccine makers are on their way to the creation of it, they're all in the particular last trial for its completion.

The actual audience is still different but just endure it while we're not yet back to normal.

Probably not as intense as the previous seasons pre-COVID19. Most teams or players would surely feel somewhat demotivated on playing since there are no crowds, and even if championship is on the line, there’s no one who will hype them up to score those goals and defend viciously against attackig enemies. It would seem to feel like it’s more of a practice game rather than a real match. Admit it or not, the crowd cheering for their teams certainly add up to the morale of the players, and without it I don’t think they’re gonna give it they’re all. There’s also the anxiety of playing with someone that may have the virus, so yeah, kinda sucks.

The pandemic virus is still not gone and in order for us to be safe, they wouldn't be allowed any sports to execute to avoid the risk of spreading the virus, which is really good, imagine if those sports will happen, the social distancing will not be followed. We should set aside first the sports betting while the pandemic is still there, we can change the game we want to play as of this situation, we may play online gambling, like black jack, poker or anything just to avoid attachment from other people.

Few months back when some of the leagues resumed the season, one of the biggest difference was the home advantage from different leagues. I don't know the stats but you'll notice that some teams started underperforming at the last few games of the previous season. Now that we're in the new season I expect visiting teams to get more draws or maybe pull an upset now that home advantage isn't the same as it used to be. The second match of PSG is one example where they lost at home vs Marseille.

With the advent of Covid19 almost destroying all that we love about the game, laying waste to our owning ceremonies and award presentation culture and sports in general. Here is the start of a new season for fans of soccer. Now that we can't watch from the arena, what's the best way to cheer up our heroes on the pitch to let them know we've got love for them and the team or perhaps, how to help them out their minds in the game?

Send them notes and give them shout out to their social media pages and let hem know that you are behind team all the way also encourage other fans to do the same, team will understand the situation and they are playing now because they believe that their fans are cheering them at home

This pandemic really affects most of the games that we love like basketball, soccer and etc. This new season, I would love to support them also by betting the team that I love while looking also for the best odds that are going to offer by the casino owners.

This season will definitely affect the players also as there are players who can give their full potential if there are many supporters around them but because of this covid19 there will be less supporters or even none if it is not allowed, let see if how those players will adjust to the situation

This Covid-19 pandemic surely had detrimental impacts on every aspect of our lives. And now this, the things we enjoy doing, has been affected also. For sure there will be restrictions in accordance with health protocols in compliance with the new normal. But I do hope that players’ performance would not be affected by these restrictions. I hope for the best results.

The biggest impact of coronavirus on the sports is that most of the sports and soccer matches will be played without the crowd. Even though this should not impact the performance of the players but there is some physiological advantage when the players see a lively crowd in the stadium. Playing in empty stadium is something new for the players.

I definitely agree with you. The liveliness of the audience certainly brings some type of vibe that consequently impact the mood of the players as well. If only this Covid pandemic would end and just vanish. I miss the old days.

I am sure they can handle that, even if no television, social media because right now, we have the internet, which can help them broadcast the match to the public. They will be able to get their audience while the audience is at their homes. But it will be different than before because we are in the pandemic which we don't know when it will end. At least, the audience could still get entertainment in the sports industries.

Expect things to be quite normal in socccer, NBA already resumed their season amidst the pandemic by following all the protocols from players to staff. In fact NBA is on conference finals which we can clearly conclude that it might just happen to any sports even soccer.

It may happen, as the sports commissions can do the same, by following  all government  protocols this favorite sports may
also track the same path as NBA.

The only thing they will weigh is the person involve in the sports,, as we know players on field in soccer is more than in basketball so that might be a factor also.

Considering that fact, there are many people that involved to this sport but likewise if government protocols will be followed
it will be able to survive and continue the season.

Soccer matches are usually big because of the audiences who supports both team. Their cheers and applause help the players to be alive and keep the momentum of the game up. This soccer's season might still be possible, but it seems like the game will be like a practice for both teams without the loud noises of the audience.

Anyways, the best team will still prevails and good luck those gamblers who will spend their funds in soccer betting.

right now they need to adapt the situation. better be safe than sorry. we will see the same scenario again once vaccine is fully deployed. and before the end of the year, I think there will be a lot of people that can get their vaccine shot for this.
I think the vaccines that are distributed to the people must pass the testing stage first and usually the side effects of the vaccine will show when it's more than 1 year old, whereas if it's still less than that the vaccine is still not clear what the bad effects are so I hope you have to be careful. liver with the vaccine that was created.

It is right. Before something bad happens, the event promoter needs to anticipate everything, including if they allow the audience to watch directly at the stadium. But I don't expect too much about soccers in this pandemic because I think the event will use some limitations, and they need to follow the health protocols for each team and other people who get in the stadium. I really hope that there will be no problem with the soccer match because people at home want to see the soccer event start again like before, although the situations will be different.

The audience greatly influenced the games of the two teams which made the two teams play even more crazy because the cheers and applause of the audience would trigger andernalin the game of the two teams, plus the audience sang the team's national anthem and it was very influential.

Are spectators still not allowed in the stadiums/arena? If yes, is it in all the leagues (premiership, spanish, Italian leagues etc) or few/most?

I don't know much thesedays about the leagues. Been a bit long I stopped focusing alot of attention on football and other sports. I occasionally watch the matches when I go to restaurants to eat. And it seems lots of restaurants have the English leagues (premiership?) on.

I did check the fixtures and until November at least for the Premier League the rounds will be played with at least one week difference. This should be easier for the Premier League teams as they are used to even play three games in a week sometimes.I think it will be an interesting season overall based on the results of the first week.

I think it's going to be pretty rough season for all the legendary teams and a golden chance for the teams which struggled alot in the previous years.
Maybe teams like West Ham, Newcastle, Wolves can finally make some great calls and upsets.

Also, really excited to see how Man United plays this season in EPL.

As a soccer fan, I certainly happy the Premier League to have started again, even though we can't watch it in full directly at the stadium.
But that doesn't reduce the excitement of the match, I'm even starting to get excited, which means we can start sports betting again.
Speaking of Premier League, of course, I will never get bored, because it is the most popular football league today. Making the Premier
League an attractive entertainment choice in the midst of this pandemic that has not ended.

Good thing that in your place you still enjoyed that kinds of sports mate, as well as betting experience. Unfortunately here in asia, I wasn't able to see this kind of game to resume. The popularity of this soccer league influenced many young people, but it made them frustrated this times of pandemic due to social distancing protocols. Our local sports here in the country has no proper advice, when is the proper resume of the event not just with soccer but also with several games associated with different athletes.
you can always watch the game via online if not live  . we and the guy is the same because he said that he cant also watch live , why feel sad ? your not alone with your problem mate. i know the situation we have right now is quite annoying but it would be more annoying if you follow your own passion and get infected at the end  by the virus . sports authorities on your place could have been busy now resulting for them to not provide proper schedules for sport events but again dont get annoyed with that fact . dont you have other hobby ? why not spend time on other stuffs .

As a soccer fan, I certainly happy the Premier League to have started again, even though we can't watch it in full directly at the stadium.

With this such condition, I don't want to expect too much. The Covid-19 is still here, not ending yet. Once we don't obey the health protocol, this pandemic will never end. Moreover, although it has been decided for such a new norma condition, the fact, it is getting worse and worse again. So, what to expect with this? There are so many interests in the soccer league, but everybody also wants to live healthily.
So, during this pandemic, the soccer may not be able to be conducted as what have been doing as usual. It should be still under health protocol if it is held. Of course, it will impact on the situation of the supporters, the audience, and also the match protocol.

what's the best way to cheer up our heroes on the pitch to let them know we've got love for them and the team or perhaps, how to help them out their minds in the game?
You can show your support on them through social media. If they have an official twitter handle or Facebook page, you can always tweet or comment on their accounts and tell them how much you support them in this covid19 times.

I've done this before with my favorite athletes but not with soccer. And once, they've read your encouraging words and how you really are supporting them, it's a boost for them already.

That's what I was thinking. But of course, it is still different when you are in arena. But will not have this actual audience for quite a while. Just accept that this is our new normal for now, and this is for the benefit of us. We can always show support thru socmed for the time being. Truly, the world is changing!
Yes, being in the stadium or arena is way different to show your support. But do you think you can do that in these difficult times? no.

So, be happy that there will be matches even though you can't be present as a live audience, you can enjoy and bet with your favorite teams as your support and leave them a message on their official social medias.

That's enough as the days are understandable and many can't go out.

What do we expect from premier league this season, let's test our prediction skills and show our love for the game. Have a great new season people.
Let's talk soccer.

We can't predict much about the outcome of the teams itself now but for the new environment, except that it will be totally different from usual.

Just like in any other sports, some adjustments should be made starting from no audience or creating an own bubble wherein all players, staff, employees are locked out throughout the whole season.

Or might be they can think of a way to get fans closely via an upgraded technology. A great example in NBA wherein home audiences is placed in the usual audience area via a screen. Teams will now feel that audience is still there watching them live. For soccer, I'm sure they can do it too.

@Smartvirus the best way to cheer for them is to be on Twitter, and tweet to your favourite stars pre and post the match, and what makes twitter standout is that you can interact with other fans too during a live match. Furthermore fans will soon be allowed in the stadium by October, and though the entire stadiums won’t be filled just yet, I believe that it’s a  positive news for all the fans who’re eager to cheer for their team from the stands.

Quote

As it stands, there will be no fans attending Premier League matches that begin on September 12, but there are tentative plans to re-introduce supporters starting early October. Clubs such as Arsenal have used October 3 as a potential date to allow a certain number of fans to attend games

Before they started a game and even as they enter their game, they already know what to do and what to think. There's already things running on their mind inorder to cheer themselves up.
They need to compromise, also as those fan of soccers who can't watch their game because of the pandemic.
The priority is to not spread the virus, so stay indoors and practice social distancing.
Just knowing that you support their team is enough.

I think it is a reset for all outdoor activities, which has many people because we are still in the pandemic. Health protocols are the important thing that we should follow, and I think not just in soccer that will use the health protocols, but the other sports games will also do the same.

Suppose we can't watch it from the stadium, we can still watch it on our home. In that case, it will not be going forever because once the vaccine is found and the situation can be control and normal again, people will have the opportunity to watch the games directly at the stadium.

The premier league for soccer is reset to the new looks, which no audience in the stadium will be only temporary. I think the audience can accept that, and they will enjoy watching the game in their homes.

Most of the team have their own website and social media accounts, you can go there and post a message of support and you can also encourage the same to all their fans let them know that they are on your prayers and you are cheering them at home while they are playing
I'm sure that the team knows that their fans are watching home and cheering for them while they are playing.

ith the advent of Covid19 almost destroying all that we love about the game, laying waste to our owning ceremonies and award presentation culture and sports in general. Here is the start of a new season for fans of soccer. I don't really like the soccer being just watched with a silent audiences with no intense environment or noises. Soccer games had been fun to watch with audiences shouting their own and bet team's name and cheering them up, and with the silent soccer to be possibly held would somehow be boring (if ever the show wouldn't add some noise in the background) and such boringness would simply be like watching them practice in their regular basis.

I think if the production would somehow make a way to add noise in the game or like pre recorded battlecry and shouts from different people, then I guess it would be as same as cheering in-house while watching it live, despite the fact that you shout couldn't really cheer them nor help the cheer at all  Grin

This is a real trying time for football fans and sports itself. Having stadiums with large capacities but yet, no one seats in it's chairs. Where players on the pitch don't feel the love and cheer over each skill they throw on the pitch.

Its quite challenging for athletes and fans to keep up with the game even without their fans and also with the funds being lost at every game play but, that's the price we must pay to stay healthy and fir the love of the games.

while players play without the usual cheering, the sponsors and teams loose funds from sale of tickets, the fans have got to watch from behind their screen and cheer through the social medias. Lets keep up the good spirit and stay safe through the pandemic. Surely the vaccine is on the way.

Indeed the pandemic ruined every thing especially activities that needs to be done physically, and this is why I don't really support opening the Olympics coz that's a huge sporting event compare to just the FIFA and the NBA. I'm sure they are taking care of what is need to be taken care of especially the health of their players. Team sports such as basketball and football/soccer needs some extra cautions. Nothing to expect more I guess.

It will be better if before the game starts in a week the players and staff should be quarantine already. It

if you want to support them you don't have to go to cheer them
Every team wants the safety of their fans.

In times like this players will choose to play without thier fans around than seeing them in the gym supporting them  . Keeping their fans away is one way of showing support to thier idols .

With the advent of Covid19 almost destroying all that we love about the game, laying waste to our owning ceremonies and award presentation culture and sports in general.
Covid can stop people from playing but it can't destroy the game  . We can still play soccer and we can cut those extras like ceremoney , presentation , etc  because those involve audience and can lead to risk of infection . What important here is the main event which is the actual game

We can expect the great soccer, like in every season! This season will start with empty stadiums, the extra player, how many
people call fans on the stadium, will make a little difference for the players on the field. Home teams will lose advantage of the home
field, but they will have the easier task when they play away.
I didn't make any bets for now, I am busy with many things, but as seasons starts I will get back in the game slowly!

Even in the time of pandemic lockdown few soccer game took place with no audience in the stadium. Now slowly relaxation are being provided on transportation and on other activities. More leagues thats been stopped during the pandemic is being rescheduled. Now one by one rescheduled matches have started. Now the sportsbetting gambling sites go active, and over the past casinos are much used than sports betting.

Personally i will not suggest you or anyone else to go to stadium for watching live matches but you can express your love by supporting your favorite team through social media. Just like you can easily post your line on their official posts which will definitely inspire team boys. During covid19 situation we should follow restrictions and without abiding social distance i don't know what is the actual cure for us now. Still now multiple countries are assuring worldwide people about vaccine but no one can say which one gonna work properly.

You have to keep it in mind that you and your family members life is precious than anything. So, better to wait until everything get well and until then keep delivering your support from home.

It's okay and we clearly have to stay off the infection list but, not having the cheer, whistling and drumming of the fans from the crowd in the arena seems to have chained the spirit of the game. It's kind of sad what this pandemic is doing to sports.

I feel you brother I am a basketball fan and it's hard that you are not around to cheer your favorite team, but we must bear this new normal with a lot of abnormalities the most important thing is we are still healthy to see our favorite team playing in TV or internet, sports are losing revenues because of empty bleachers but they decided to go for fan's sake and we have something to thank them for.

we are living in a new normal that is very much different from what we have if you want to support them you don't have to go to cheer them just send good luck greeting, before the start of the game and send them a shoutout on your favorite team's social media channels.
What a way to put it, 'new normal' that carries a lot of abnormalities. It's kind of sad what this pandemic is doing to sports.

It's a good one for Arsenal to have got their 3points and staying too of the premier league table for now with a 0-3 win against Fulham with Lacazete scoring the first goal of the season.

Premier league

It's been known from observation that the opening of a new season in premier league has always been the start for many other leagues in soccer as they seem to set the odds in football. Not saying they are the best in contrast to spanish and italian football but they've got this uniqueness about them that have got eyes on them.

With the advent of Covid19 almost destroying all that we love about the game, laying waste to our owning ceremonies and award presentation culture and sports in general. Here is the start of a new season for fans of soccer.
