it really doesn't have to be something lacking to create a new service, there is still room for competition. and it actually is a great thing to have in this field. sometimes some services come along and they are the only one offering that type of service and become the "king" of it. obviously after a while without competition they won't care enough as long as they are earning money.
but if they feel the threat of being replaced every day they will always try and improve. and there is enough room for a couple of big ones on each specific service: exchanges, payment processors, wallets (like coinbase)

What I'm personally in need of is a way to spend my coins on my daily needs with ease. We are slowly coming towards a point when many of us will find themselves holding a lot of value in BTC. I used to treat it as a fun investment on the side, but when it his $5000 I came to a conclusion that my coins are starting to be worth more than the house I'm living in. So time to spend some, right? Nope. I actually can't do much with my coins beside paying medical bills or ordering food. So basically anything that converts coins directly into items and doesn't make you wait a month before they arrive from China will be a nice addition. That said, I'm waiting for the Amazon news to confirm.

I kind of have the same thoughts. Initially, I'd prefer to just hold all my BTC and stray away from spending a single cent but with its increasing value, it wouldn't hurt to use or spend some. With this, I think there should be a website that could cater to the needs of bitcoin users, one where they can spend BTC like amazon or eBay. I think that would be convenient for the bitcoin users should they opt to spend it.

CryptoTalk.Org - Get Paid for every Post!
Shopping site with many different products being sold, large community of buyers and sellers, positive reputation on the market, international business disponible on many different countries, making the exportation and importation taxes cheaper and less bureaucracy when dealing with international sellers/buyers. It should work somehow like Uber at beginning, without regulation.

What I want to happen is that we have to withdraw our money directly. And it is no longer a third party company that they are proprocessing our bitcoins to exchange money. Yes, there is no problem here because our money goes to us. So it's better to do it directly because if you look at bitcoins for illegal activities in that way. Even when I was withdrawn and asked me where the money was what I said was on Bitcoins. And the people there are no one know so I say that sent me.

The service of reversible transaction. I want to see that I can still be able to retrieve back a bitcoin transaction that was sent, but after several conditions are met. Or something like an escrow like application, also with several conditions to justify before it sent back the transaction.

I personally want more blockchain analysis companies that dont have goals to try and unmask people's identities. I want information so providing charts like "x amount of bitcoins not moved in 6+ years", bitcoin days destroyed , ect. Blockchain.info removed a lot of charts and that used to be the place to go. However, theres no real money in it.

How can you truly incorporate Fiat payments when most direct fiat payment methods are reversible? A decentralized crypto exchange is an amazing concept.
But can you truly achieve next level of security without regulations? What we need is true fiat to crypto decentralized exchange - not system powered by some pseudo tether altcoin.

I am waiting for the day that we can finally welcome a truly decentralized exchange that allows fiat trading in whatever way. I know Bitsquare and other exchanges are looking to fill this gap, but the only thing they didn't manage to do, is incorporate fiat in a truly decentralized manner. None of them has managed to do this, which might be coming from the fact that there may not even be such possibilities yet. I have seen certain people point out Tether, but this is a heavily centralized token due to their fiat reserve system, where it also didn't manage to maintain a value of exactly $1 at all times. That's basically the only thing I am looking forward to, and know of that this is what a lot people are waiting for as well.

People should really stop reading clickbait news just because they sound that good.

Then I guess somebody should let these people know. There are supportive comments coming in as we speak.

It didn't look like a piece of news one would base their investment strategy on, but it also didn't look completely fake.

What type of website or service  is still lacking in the Bitcoin world?

Actually none is lacking.
What is lacking is the numbers and area coverage.

The bigger problem is that almost none of them is really accepting bitcoin and they take only fiat via bitpay.
