in my opinion the best is coinomi really has many altcoins and acceptable fees, then in second place trust wallet has a better swapp and a good section for staking, atomic wallet is also discreet but in my opinion it has a bit high fees

I'm using Exodus right now. Lots of coins I want to trade for are often chronically not available. Like ADA is "temporarily unavailable" but it's been like that for a week or more.

First and only wallet so I'm not sure how the trading fees compare to other wallets for swapping coins.

Maybe we will wait for you to search do it yourself as some of us here are also waiting for answers. There should be a list of trusted wallets and their respective fees. That could've been a great help to the community, or maybe it is now existing at this moment but we did not manage to encounter it. I don't use any other wallet aside from.our local ones, just avoiding future problems with foreign wallets.

Personally I'm using Trust wallet for swapping coins. In the trust wallet it is easy to swap. This is a multicoin wallet. For Trc20 based token I'm using Tokenpocket. They also have swapping feature. And for sending Coin I'm using im token. I can set gas manually. For this reason transaction fee is reduced. For trading you can use Binance.

May be trust wallet? They have dex on the wallet. I have never used the dex although. However, as you can use the Binance chain for various token, it’s possible that you can swap with low fees.

Seems like you're just wondering if you made bad choices on the crypto’s you decided to start with. There lots of crypto wallet these days, majority of them surely encourage you to use them. I think you need to sign up to a different platform if you want to get best possible services. I am fairly new to TrustWallet, has lowest fees but pretty popular in the crypto space.

My wallet that I’m using will depends on tokens I’m holding but most of the time, I’m using Metamask and Trust Wallet for swapping and Binance exchange for my trading.

If a specific token is not available on your wallet then look for the other options since some wallet are disconnecting tokens from their network for a specific reason, and you have to be aware of that.

You can't trade in your wallet but to an exchange. You should consider the exchange that has a feature of having a wallet and then also has the exchange feature. For me, Kucoin, Lumi and Mycelium wallets works best for me though you are asking good wallets and exchange that supported thousands of good crypto.

However, having thousands of crypto supported wallets may means nothing depending on your capability of owning different kinds of crypto. My suggestion is to focus on wallet with the major crypto you wanted to hold or trade.

Yes, you should not need a wallet that supports lots or thousands of crypto but you should only be needing the wallet in which majority of the crypto you wanted to trade in in the wallet you had and being access. Again, my ideal wallet and has been holding was the KUcoin, Mycelium and Lumi wallet. It works better for me however we cannot generalize your likes because it all depend on you on how you if majority of the crypto you like is in the said wallet I mention.

Lastly, take your time and keep us also updated on what wallet you are up to after some time looking for it.

I wish you mentioned which platform you want to use the wallet because there are some really good ones I could have suggested. Anyways for mobile, I would recommend TrustWallet and for web, I would still go with blockchain.com's wallet, despite having limited coins. For windows, I am just in love with the layout exodus has and the ease it provides along with the number of coins, so would stick with that.

The lowest fees would be through using a proper exchange like Binance because these wallets like exodus are wallet providers with in built exchange but they come with a fees.

The concept of mixing a wallet and exchange is good but I still prefer using a wallet for storing coins and exchange for swapping or exchanging, if you are not comfortable using Binance or other centralized exchanges, just for a decentralized one like uniswap and if you have fees issue move to other chains like Binance blockchain.

Different wallet, different rates and fees most of the time. I’ve tried using Trust Wallet so far their fees are reasonable for me compare to other wallet and I didn’t encounter any problem using this wallet.

You have to confirm first if the token you’re looking for are available already on exchanges and cryptowallet, and if you see some options try to analyze those wallet to know what’s fit for your standards.

so far i just using trust wallet and safepal wallet for now, and unfortunately both of that wallet just have ADA bep-20 or bep-2 which Pegged to real ADA, and when i am trying to swap using trust wallet, for example i try 1 BNB to Ada bep-20 based on this time rate, i got about 199.5 ADA, the fees relative low , with max slippage 1% + under 1 usd fee using BNB as a transaction fee.

I've seen many users have problems with Atomic Wallet, so I won't recommend them as your go-to wallet, maybe it should be a third-priority or so. Trust Wallet is closed source so that's that. I personally hold all my coins on Ledger Nano X and my Nano S, if I need to swap I can easily connect it to dex like Binance DEX or Uni/Sushi.

I think trant made a good point. If you want to make regular trades between different coins/chains, maybe you should stick with CEX instead. Most of their trading and withdrawal fees are still smaller compared to DEX, but things might change if we see an update on various chains to lower the fees, like ETH2.0.

If your plan is to swap coins from one to another in order to save fees (transactions, withdrawals), you are in the incorrect direction.

Swapping always have bigger charges on you.
  • It is true for swapping in wallets (as in Myetherwallet)
  • It is also correct for swapping on exchanges (Binance or Peer-to-peer martketplaces)

Another problem after the swap is, if you are planning to move your coins, tokens on the same chains.
Examples:
  • Swap from one ERC-20 token to another ERC-20 token, or from a ERC-20 token to ETH, you will be charge fees in ETH for your ERC-20 transactions.
  • Swap from BTC to USDT on OMNI layer and vice versa. You will get expensive transaction fee on bitcoin network in bad days.
You will get double expensive loss: one for a swap, and another one for transaction.

The best way to save transaction fees with a same coin is try to choose the chain which gives you cheapest transaction fees: as switch from ERC-20 to TRC-20 or BEP20 or BSC (Binance Smart Chain).

Forget about swap if you want to save fees!

Been using different wallets to swap coins but most of them has a minimum amount to exchange coins plus the fees of course is a bit high for some exchanges that I have tried. Although Klever wallet exchange satisfied me because it offers fast transaction but they dont have that much altcoins on their platform.

Ive also tried freewallet but there are some issues I have been encountered from that so Ive been looking for other cryptoexchanges that has also smooth in exchanging coins plus reasonable profit.

Trust wallet is better and supported more cryptocurrencies and fees has nothing to do with the wallets because it is not going to the wallet providers, it will go to the miners so it all depends on the coin which you are transacting.

You can alternatively use Atomic, Trust wallet, and Crypterium for swapping altcoins, don't forget to ask from support before deposit.
all three are very good for swaps but the fees burdened are still high...
especially Atomic, which has a minimum swap limit. I think all fees charged by wallets that provide the swap feature are the same cmiiw. This is the reason why I don't really like the swap feature that the wallet provides
All of these 3 wallets mentioned above, only Coinomi I had tried to use but they also used a third-party swap exchange like IIRC Changelly which is had terrible fees upon swapping your coin.  If we ignore the fees, I will choose this Atomic wallet which is supported by 500+ altcoins and tokens to swap.

But if you're going to ask me, why not choose an exchange that has a low fee instead, there's Binance or Binance DEX, immediate swapping will cost huge fees and I don't think that is recommendable if you want to save some extra $ through fees.

I tend to agree, avoiding them is much better if you're concerned is about the fee.

Coinomi has a lot of supported assets but they don't have ADA.

Atomic Wallet has a lot of supported coins too and they have ADA.

Whilst the best for me is Ledger Wallet and it has ADA too.
