It feels like your first day at school. You will have to learn about this forum and learn to adjust to how things are done here. I was scared when I heard you can be banned for spamming the forum so I was careful I didn't visit all threads to post.

You might ask why I ask such newbie-ish questions.
Well it's because I'm clover12, and I'm a blockchain technology Newb.

At least I am not some normie (someone who knows absolutely nothing of the crypto world).

I've done some airdrops
I'm on two exchanges
I've got a hardware wallet..
I've got some other wallets up and running
I've got some coin tucked away
I've got some forks to claim
I'm active here at BCT's Beginner's forum

I'm on the scene practically every day.. Kiss

when I was a bitcoin newbie, receiving my first faucet payout was like winning first prize award Cheesy
then after awhile I figured out I was wasting my time claiming those faucet amounts
so right now claiming faucet is just for fun and I don't expect getting rich out of it
Like many of us here, I also started with faucets. Then I said that I will stop using faucets when I will earn 1 BTC from it (or when I will win $200 on Freebitco.in) Cheesy.
When I was newbie, I tried to read about Bitcoin as more as possible. But after 4 years almost, I'm still not happy about my knowledge, I think it's too limited, maybe because I'm not tech savy guy Cheesy
When I came to Bitcointalk, I wasn't new to Bitcoin already. But despite that I didn't posted much here because I was afraid to say something wrong.
I don't know where to start but internet together with google is always here for us to continue learning. This forum got a bunch of helpful members where you can ask anytime with a positive point of view.
Good point. Google is our friend. But if Google can't help to find the answer - you always can ask it on Bitcointalk.
To me, I did lots of faucets and joined many BTC doubling platforms which never doubled my BTC but rather took it all away from me.
Didn't knew that these platforms still exist. When I was newbie, I was thinking about investing in such platform. But after more careful research I realised that such platforms are just scams and scammer can start such website by buying doubling platform script just for few hundreds bucks.

a lot of confusion, asking for guidance, videos, reading

This is me, especially confusion.  I'm learning each thing but rarely figure out new stuff on my first try.  Usually I am in this state of confusion.

I wonder what the tech wizards were like at first.  They must look back on it all and think it was interesting experiencing everything so new..

Being a newbie in something you don't know is full of questions but later on it will be easier than before as you gain information in profession you're doing. As for me being newbie is the same as other that is more on question as I frankly saying I am indeed had more questions in mind but not the same as I started cryptocurrency. Everything new to you is much more hard than having experience and knowledge about it when you're introduce to it. In short, New = zero everything.

Feeling nostalgic, I'm feeling old right now when I remember those days that I'm also into faucets.

There's so much to learn even you will start to learn the basics, the range of bitcoin knowledge is broad so there must be a continuous learning.

I think the best way is to find an airdrop in ANN .
1)From an airdrop you can learn what's the cryptocurrency and know how they can do .
2)You will get some coins and learn how to trade them .

nowadays, doing airdrop and bounties are more rewarding than faucets
eventhough there are some bad bounties that don't actually pay or its token becomes worthless Tongue

What was it like? Just the same as being a newbie at any kind of skill/profession. The feeling of not knowing a lot of things. But this can easily be fixed by just simply reading a lot and doing a lot of research. Everybody goes through the newbie phase. The question is, are you willing to spend time to get out of the "newbie" phase?

I'm in no way claiming that I'm an expert though. I've been in the crypto space for almost 2 years and I still feel like a newbie. So much stuff to learn.
