Just started! Two Antminer U2's running at 4.4GH/s total. Generates an amazing 13.24 uBTC/hr. At this rate I'll be able to transfer my balance from the pool without paying a transaction fee in about a month. Hopefully the difficulty doesn't go up before then.

Difficulty will go up in less than 2 days from now. It will go further up every ~12 days afterwards.

Well, looks like the U2 will stay plugged in for the foreseeable future then. New hope- that they make close to .005BTC before they stop being able to contribute a non-negligible amount of shares to the pool. Looks like I'll need more hardware to be able to withdraw without a transaction fee anytime in the foreseeable future.

I mined Primecoin with my desktop and then I used a legion of AWS servers while they had a promo going on.  Those were the days.

7950 vapor-x, started too late...

I still have few 7950s and even mined Bitcoins with it when Asics were not that accessible.

it was cool to mine btc directly with p2pool

Started mining on my two 5750s at 360ish MH/s in early 2013. Stopped it when new worthwhile games came out and I favored plaing them to mining :p. Now jumped back in with two antminer U2s.

Pretty high hash rate to start with, how much hash power one antminer U2 has?

IIRC, it should hash at ~2GH/s .

Started 2/2013
EVGA 780i FTW motherboard
QX9650 LGA 775 CPU
3 x Gigabyte 7970
1 x Sapphire 7970

Got a whopping 2 GH/s mining BTC. Usually got .007 BTC per round on Slush.

Now I have 2.7 TH/s of assorted Bitfury, Ants, and a Dragon 1 TH/s. Also have some Gridseed units doing scrypt, soon to be 12 MH/s.

My first attempt was using all my laptops.
List:
MacBook Pro 2.4 GHz Intel Core i5
MacBook Pro 2.4 Intel Core 2 Due
ASUS-laptop AMD E2 VISION 1800 1.7 GHz
(Also I did some mining using my Galaxy S3)
Let's just say I didn't become a millionaire. I gave up after a week with ~3mBTC and realized I earned a lot more from faucets.
(Those computers however mined me a few litecoins a few months later, yay!)
