Maybe it still has promise? I hope so because I personally like the concept and to be brutally honest I get the feeling BTC has become centralized by a cartel. I had hoped ETH could become widely adopted, I'm not so sure of that now in all honesty.
Last time i slated eth i had an army of supporters crashing down on me. Im guessing even those hardcore supporters have lost faith in it now? It was promising at first i suppose.

I agree with that, it should be priced in USD. Bitcoin could be $100 or $10,000 in 2 years, so saying that ETH with be 0.02BTC could mean almost anything!
As for the USD price, I expect it will be higher than it is now, say $5, but not a dream scenario of speculators here. I don't see it overtaking bitcoin and there are lots of alternatives to ETH. It may depend more on the newer alts than bitcoin. Maybe waves or lisk or some other new coin will dominate the Alt scene.

Also we need to consider BTC's price in 2 years. A rising BTC (tide) floats all alts (boats).
Short term fluctuations usually result in alts dropping somewhat when BTC rises, which makes sense as they are priced in BTC for the most part, but it also the BTC tide that brings the needed $$ required for trading in the alts. LTC only hit its peak near $50 when BTC was pushing for $1,200.
LTC lagged BTC a bit when it first took off back in 2013, and I think the same thing will happen to alts this time around. If BTC starts pushing $500, at first alts will either go down or stay about the same, but once $500 is breached and it starts pushing $600, $700, or even $800, I think we will see the alts start to explode too.

At that time the ethereum will not be at zero or dead, but I think it will be at about $5 or maybe a little more than that, but cannot say that its value will be greater than that.
I don't think that it will have some value after 2 years, people will leave it sooner, only a few people are now buying it but when they see their coins going down they will also leave ethereum.
Developers themselves can not give a clear answer whether any POS!

you need to wait for the pos before knowing it, because with pos the price should increase again since the dumping from miners will end at least
I think price will increase to level of 50$ and not more than that and it will also only happen if we see lots of dapp developer popping up in near future and also lots of consumer getting attracted towards those app. Future for dapps are still uncertain so the value of ethereum is also uncertain.
Totally impossible to guess for me at least. It might be an overwhelming triumph or an utter heap of shit by then. It sounds like they still have an awful lot of stuff to iron out.
eth price possible in the next two years already to 0.1 BTC / ETH. I think eth also coins are good enough to be arrested. there is no harm in trying to invest our money there, because I think it will be the successor BTC

If it is not an elaborate scam then I can see the $20-$50 range being viable in two years time.
If it turns out to be an elaborate scam then 0 USD is another possibility.
I am still on the fence on this one, for every good thing it seems something else negative is also revealed. While the official forums being shut down is not the end all be all, it is a rather curious development considering the almost overnight success it has recently enjoyed.

Im still a bit gutted i missed out on the initial pump of this coin but it does look a bit bleak now. Although price is still holding around the 0.019-0.02 im not sure how much longer it can last. Would be nice for it to do well but i just cant see it tbh.
Given the way they are burning through the money they raised, and closing their forums and all - unless they can convince people to actually use yhe elaborate platform they've built, the only way is down.
