Santa never can make bitcoin have higher price, you need to support with investor keep hold their bitcoin assets and never selling with lower price. Last year become very bad thing for bitcoin holder because they not reach profit with bitcoin holding during one year hold bitcoin but price keep down, wait for new year maybe you can sell and earn much profit before bitcoin halving.

Well, it may sound cringe and funny but i also ask or wish on the day of Christmas not just in Santa claus but in god also that next year will be a good thing for hodlers like me especially in the year 2019 the performance of crypto or bitcoin is not that good to the point that we see the lowest price of bitcoin in 2019, and i thought that it is the end of bitcoin, but still i keep being optimistic and believe that one day things will be alright so i buy more bitcoin at its lowest price and still holding it until now. So this year i wish more opportunities and good things to happen in the crypto world to be specific in bitcoin.

Not really, I saw Santa in the mall last Christmas giving away candies. But not causing green candles though. Lol.

Kidding aside, the rise of Bitcoin within the year is enormous already. If we take a look at the entire year 2019 chart and we consider its all time high and all time low, we can see how Bitcoin was able to convert $3,000 plus into $13,000 plus. That is around $10,000 difference.

This is a new year to start with, I know many of us are still waiting for a good entry point where price is cheap to buy and accumulate bitcoin but while we are still waiting, new year is the best time to start buying now and consider diversifying our buying time frame without considering if it is profitable or not, as long as our target is to conduct a long term hodling of bitcoin. I think maybe people have a scraped slate when it comes to expectations of crypto this year. Who knows what the year will bring to us. Hopefully, people will start investing again and hold their bitcoin using it to trade for other currencies. This will surely bring the price up. In the first place you don't need to be a hodler to get the aidrop from yobit, because the gift of santa clause for bitcoin hodlers for me is knowledge about the things they need to avoid in the future so they will have more profits in the market. From the context that I could perceive based on the topic, I think it is not just the hodlers that will benefit most from the great upcoming increase in the market price. It is everyone that is involved in the cryptocurrency. Because basically if you don't have any holdings of crypto, if you see the market getting pretty well, you'll go ahead and buy some, others will go enjoy joining bounty, or getting paid in crypto instead of fiats even in daily transactions.

Since they have no idea what they are or what they're worth, I'll just tell them to hold onto their 'present' for at least a decade before they try to sell it.

For this year, the only thing we got is the short bull run from April when the price moved from around $3k to $13k plus. Bull run does not happen before halving (I don't know for sure, but based on what I've seen), so the price is either going to remain remain stable with a little fluctuation up and down or it will get dumped. So, I'm only expecting the price to start going up after the halving, June next year. That was the same thing that happened in last bull in 2016, the price went up a few weeks after the halving.

2018 wasn't so good because it started the year with all time high but then ended with a bad year. I guess everyone knows the number on much bitcoin went high during that time and on how low it did.

The market look like to be dumped or will just stay at this price until the of the December.
It could go below $7k also. That really depends on how the point of view people will have.
There are a lot of them who is expecting too much. If even a little pump happens, let us say at 10k price then it will just be dumped all over again for preparation into buying more before the bitcoin halving.
So expect bad things to happen.

There are two things that people can expect. Someone gifting them a big load of bitcoins or bitcoin price touching a large value higher than probably 20k USD. Both of these are unrealistic and unattainable unless something miraculous happens the chances of which is very very low.

So instead of dwelling on children's folktales, why not focus on gather more bitcoin at this time since the price is still hovering at 7k USD so you have more amount to sell when it crosses 10k USD in future. This is a good time to stock up coins because people are selling for spending fiat on Christmas purchases.

In holiday people usually withdraw their money, and it can cause bitcoin price dumped (hope it not happen). And for christmast and new year holiday, usually market volume decreased significantly. Maybe at that time it is not bad to take a rest in trading too, or at least save more fiat to buy some bitcoin if it is really dumped.

Hopefully this christmas and coming new year, the price will increase again so that if we will sell some of our bitcoins, we will sell them definitely at a good price. But looking at the current price, it might be impossible to happen but as long as volatility is here, there are still chances to expect somehow.

I am a holder from 2014/2015, and the only way I would not profit from BTC is if the price goes under $250. Holding for a few months means nothing, as TheUltraElite says, it takes years to see some serious results.

In holiday people usually withdraw their money, and it can cause bitcoin price dumped (hope it not happen). And for christmast and new year holiday, usually market volume decreased significantly. Maybe at that time it is not bad to take a rest in trading too, or at least save more fiat to buy some bitcoin if it is really dumped.

I guess my words proved to be true so early because the charts were predicting blood on the day BTC bled. I don't think we could go any further down than this because this is now looking as higher low for this year and the support is looking great for BTC to hold around 7200-7500 for the next few weeks or just get a big erect green light on the charts with at least $1350 pump.

Look at the bigger picture.

2018 might be painful to some but look at the progress this year. During that year, some even say that BTC will stay at its recorded price low for about 2 to 3 years. What happened this year is already a big leap coming from a blood market that lasts for almost a year. The recovery just took several months in the making and even breaching the $12,000 level.

Now for Santa, he doesn't need to do anything because hodlers will remain hodlers even Christmas or so. Maybe you can request for some for a few BTC as a gift instead rather than expect a big price leap.

Compare the year 2018 and 2019 and you will find 2019 more better. The bitcoin prices moved above 4K and stayed above 8K for most part of the year. I think we will have another better year 2020 for bitcoin and we may see ATH in that year. That will be the real gift for the bitcoin holders.

Kidding aside though, I don't mind waiting for a longer time. What is important is that the bull will come. That is certainly coming. If it does not come this Christmas month, so be it. I will wait for it in the next months. If that does not come in the year that follows, I will wait for it in the years to come.

I wish our 13th month will be given differently from bonus, so I can invest my bonus in BTC before the price start to arise again, since my 13th month will be used these holiday season. If will not be granted I will just wish a good trading timing to be able to buy and hold btc more before halving.

Last year I was away from hometown, and this time I'll be enjoying Christmas with my family and friends. Every year Santa used to give good price pumping by the last days of the year. Hoping for the same, and expecting some miracle to happen. The miracle is someone gifting me in the form of bitcoin. One of my friend has received Christmas gift in the form of bitcoin years back.

A hodler who gets scared with one year of down trend is not a real hodler at heart. A proper hodler should be able to hold for 5+ years without even a single on their fingers.

I am sure "Santa" is not here in this forum so its no use asking. But I like your spirit so I would say like any other "bullshit" technical analyst, 50-50 chance of going up or down based on what news occurs around the market. Dont get all cozy with high prices, more chances of dropping price because people will spend their coins to buy stuff with fiat.

Nothing. I expect nothing but further dumps if it would happen. Christmas season is the time where people need to buy gifts and they might withdraw some of their holdings that may have negative pressure on the prices. If however that would not happen, I still do expect dumps by manipulators in anticipation of the next bitcoin halving. So your real "Christmas" might be months after the halving.
