Valentine's Day or Valentine's Day is long gone.  But approaching March 8, which is very popular in the post-Soviet countries.  This is the day when men pay as much attention as possible to their women and give various gifts.  If someone believed that Valentine's Day could affect the price of bitcoin, then the same situation may be on March 8.  Although I believe that these holidays will not affect the cryptocurrency market radically.
Yes, on this year valentines date the price of Bitcoin did go up but I am not going to say that it’s of that because the price of Bitcoin was already going up before that day I can remember, so I am not going to say that its because of that.

Maybe it’s just a coincidence that the prices are going up on most of the Valentine days. I can’t really see the kind of impact that Valentine day can have on the cryptocurrency, people won’t just wake up and start buying cryptocurrency just because it’s Valentine day. There are things that I believe that can cause the price to increase and this is not one of them.

Since 2015, valentine's day has been very positive for bitcoin as well as for ether. Every valentine's day with the exception of 2019, has been positive in the case of bitcoin, with the highest daily return of more than 9% occuring in 2018, will 2019 Valentine's follows the same trend as last years ..

I think so that they can affect tge price of bitcoin like the other holiday same as valentines day because they can spend their money for buying some stuff for their love once or they can also pay via crypto currency because paying via crypto currency is more easier than paying with cash.

I believe that Valentine's Day is far from the day that can affect something like any other holiday.
However, if on this day any gifts or flowers were sold only for cryptocurrencies, the “day of refusing fiat funds," then probably the price of bitcoins would jump up due to its increased popularity within the framework of artificially created necessity.

but what happened yesterday, it seems there is no significant influence, but there are many news stories that precisely corona corona with cryptocurrency, because many industrialization in the world is hampered by it. valentin went on as usual and there was no bitcoin campaign yesterday

It's nothing bad if there is any Valentine package for us though, but I believe it was just a coincidence. The only time I remembered bitcoin forum observes most times is April 1, when they play some funny tricks, like I suddenly saw a message headline that no post will be made .... I was like what have we done. Until I connected other people and we discovered it was the April fool trick.

Bitcoin might not be suffering from Valentine Day and therefore the next day because Bitcoin's market isn't stable When it'll rise and fall nobody can say. you always know what Valentine's will usually do to your beloved but Bitcoin has nothing to try to to with it it'll depend upon the investment its price will increase or the demand will increase because of the investment increases.

I don't think Valentines will do any difference from other days, the trend from 2018-2019 is only a coincidence and it doesn't have any relation and to be honest, the only effect that I can think of is there will be a lot of spending using bitcoin because a lot will be spending for their special someone. For me, Valentines or any holidays are always the same with normal days where bitcoin do it's thing.

On the previous day of the valentines, it does not affect too much the market price of the bitcoin because before it comes into the highest peak it falls immediately for over 9.6k dollars and this is not quite profitable enough to make more earnings and pull out because we can lose a lot of profit by that, but it is suitable for investment. Still, there is a possible chance the some of the people that usually use crypto make some pull out if they do not have enough money to use for their loved ones and date them.

Like other members, that in my opinion Valentine's Day has no impact on the bitcoin market, personally I consider this the same as the Christmas event. Changes occur only because of crypto volatility which sees market trends, market trends can be determined through a variety of events but only for large events in the crypto market.

This is a joke, like all other topics about current global events and their effect on Bitcoin price. Coronavirus, Christmas, and now Valentine's Day. Nothing about these days is special for crypto, what can happen is that some random people make some huge trades and move the price a bit in some direction, any direction.
Some people are obsessed with crypto apparently, they see and create connections between crypto and every possible global event, no matter how important or irrelevant event is. There's no need for that, many people don't even care about most of the event's and special days. I know I am one of them!

Lol this is a very funny question. People here are now forming the attitude of asking how every little thing will affect cryptocurrency. Without anyone telling you anything about this, in your right sense do you think that Valentine has anything to do with any asset?

There is really no way they are related so it’s not going to have any effect, the only thing we are looking at is the next Halving and that’s what you should be talking about. Halving is going to take place in May and that’s about three months from now. I will even say that’s the reason the price has been going up lately. The price will likely keep going up even after the halving and that’s when we should be expecting the next bull run to take place.

I think valentines day has no effect on bitcoin price, because valentines has really no relationships on economic issue, maybe many people will love to buys gift but there is no great issue on it, it cant really affect the price. I believe that the price of yhe bitcoin depend on so many aspect not on valentines day.

I don't think price of bitcoins actually get impact by Valentine's day lol, if there has been impact then it might be pure co incidence haha, also, if Bitcoin prices were tagged with the price of rubber as in condoms Cheesy then surely it would go up astronomically as much to leave and get out of any price charts on day of Valentine's xD

I accept as true with you that Bitcoin has nothing to try to to with Valentine it's usually controlled by the citizenry But nobody can control Bitcoin counting on the market conditions sustainability. within the case of Valentine it's a weird case that nobody will invest in Bitcoin.

This is really a ridiculous question because events and holidays like valentines day does not have any effects on the market price that it will not help to increase bitcoin or crypto adaptation. Last week, every cryptocurrencies in the market, especially bitcoin have really increased it's price but just what i have said Valentine's day is not the reason.

Well there are still people who thinks that every holidays/occasions will simply affect the price in a very positive way. We can understand it because afterall Bitcoin is a speculative asset. However, I don't know where the Op gets his/her data that every Valentine's day, the price is very positive, maybe it is just a coincidence.

But I with the majority here that Valentine's day or any occasions for that matter will not pump a dent on the price. It is still based on the law of supply and demand, and if ever it had effect, it will be just temporary and very inorganic, to say the least.
Bitcoin price has been very positive already even before valentine's day so i don't think special occasions like this bring effect on bitcoin. And since bitcoin halving is already approaching, it will definitely make a positive effect not just on bitcoin but even to some of the crypto coins in the market.

I couldn't care less about Valentine's day and I don't care about it's impact over the Bitcoin price. Is there any impact over the price after all?Do you think that cryptocurrency traders and Bitcoin Core supporters start buying more Bitcoins just because it's Valentine's day?Did anyone created an analysis that proves this theory?
People is the core of the price of bitcoin on which it all depends to the people, I guess there is an impact to the price of bitcoin due to seasonal reason. Christmas, New year's eve is the same as Valentines day, people will spend money on something to their special ones, I'm not saying that they did use their bitcoins but the fact that the price already drastically decreased I must conclude on this way.

The only impact of Valentine's day I can think off is the fact that many bitcoin supporters might have sex with their girlfriends and get them pregnant.More crypto babies that will adopt bitcoin in the future. Grin Grin
Too accurate lol  Grin Guess there will be an effect on population growth this coming year, not only with the price.

Maybe it is not the occasion but the period. The market value of Bitcoin before Valentine's day is already positive so maybe it is just pure coincidence. Just observe if there is a huge difference in the market price from this specific date to the dates of 15 and 13, if there's not that much of an increase, then such occasion did not affect the price, but rather is just within a period where the price is positive.

I like the humor from this. But obviously it does not affect the price, people are just making correlations between variables of Bitcoin price and the events that are happening. I have observed lately that there's a bit of increase with regards to topics concerning present issues in which they are trying to connect with the price of cryptos such as NCoV, and the likes since the issue of tension with regards to U.S and Iran, which somewhat affected the price of bitcoin.

to affect prices bitcoin.Because to my knowledge when Valentine's Day people don't buy bitcoin for their partners, but rather
something else.If indeed when Valentine's Day the price of bitcoin goes up, it seems just coincidence. And so far I have never

Valentines day will probably make an impact to the bitcoin price only if there is some businesses that allows bitcoin as a part of their transaction process. As of now, I don't think there is some stores that allows bitcoin as a part of their transaction so in short, this holiday does not have any impact at all to the bitcoin price. The price movement that just happened is only a coincidence maybe.

Well, we realize prices are declining after Valentine's Day but that doesn't mean Valentine's Day can affect the market or the price of bitcoin directly. I just do not think, why do they always connect one day whatever happens to the crypto market because in reality I absolutely do not believe that, because I think the movement of the crypto market does not depend on any big day or any day there, the crypto market will move based on demand and supply so prices will be more active up and down at any time and there are still many other factors but not because of Valentine's Day because there is no link at all.

Basically, your argument is correct, but let's say it (valentine price increase) always occurred in the past 100 years. Then we have a rather solid case that the phenomenon may repeat.

Unfortunately, the observed phenomenon since 2015 means nothing. I can't wait for the stock-to-flow to fails as well. Grin

Lol this is just silly if you think valentine's day can correlate to a big bitcoin price day.  You can find a rainy day it went up and correlate rain with bull days.  In short valentine's day has absolutely zero correlation to bitcoin price.  Anything that resembles a patter is sheer luck.

To be honest, this question is actually so weird and stupid. Unfortunately, I barely see a creativity in topics. Otherwise, Bitcoin will never be affected through these shitty events, I have not seen any affect of this  Valentine day on Bitcoin's price and the same thing for  the other cryptocurrencies.  I am pretty sure that the only massive affect will happen after the halving event, possibly at that moment, the price will rise to $ 20K, we are just need to HOLD and wait for that event I would guess.

What is going on in valentine's day, we see bitcoin price is going down, and it continues until this day. But we don't know if bitcoin price will continue to go down tomorrow or not because the movement still unpredicted so we can only be prepared for anything that might happen later. But this situation will change to a better situation, and we can wait for the good moves from bitcoin, which is the price will be increased again.

From the previous weeks of the bitcoin, it shows a good market price and now we are getting towards to earn more bitcoin. The price of the coin today shows a good market profit and it is better if we grab the opportunity to make more income. But on the day of valentines, it does not show a good market profit because until now the price of the bitcoin continuously dropping down and this is bad to the people who make a lot of investment when the price of the coin goes down. Still, we cannot predict what will happen next to the price of the coin because it is volatile and there are a lot of factors why does it change every time.

I don't think it has too much of an impact on the crypto market, that is, if people are going to sell their coins to buy chocolate, if so, the price should fall.
except that they buy using coins. Grin
Since the end of January, market conditions have continued to rise, so Valentine may not be the main reason for this.
Yeah same goes with me i don't think valentines will have a clear and visible effect on the market, maybe a few will use some coins to buy some stuff like a gift or something for their loveones but that is all, it will have no positive or negative effect on bitcoin's price or even the whole crypto market. We already experiencing a bull run or pump up on price market like a week before valentine's day so it is a clear coincidence.

There is no valid data related to valentine day to make an effect on the price of bitcoin. In my opinion there is no relationship with
valentine day with the price of bitcoin. And if the investigation that you do is proven every year when valentine day there is an increase
in the price of bitcoin,it's no more just a coincidence. Because logically it doesn't make sense why the price of bitcoin can be affected
by valentine day. In my opinion those of you who think so too tired to live this life, I suggest just enjoying Valentine's Day with your
partner and forget for a moment about bitcoin.

In my opinion, Valentine's Day is no different from any other day in which people want to spend as much money on gifts as possible.
Therefore, we can make an unambiguous conclusion that some of the people will change their cryptocurrency savings for real money to buy gifts and other basic things.

I don't think people are buying gifts that are so expensive that they will have to dump a bitcoin or two to afford it.

The majority takes their loved one out for a dinner or buys flowers. Most people can afford it and even if you are in that 1% that needs to buy a diamond necklace, you probably can afford it without selling your investments. If you cannot, you're a careless spender Wink

I agree on some of the comments here, if you noticed that bitcoin pumps every Valentine's Day then most probably it was only a pure coincidence. There's no relationship at all between the two things. Well, I'm not saying that occasions does not affect prices in the market since since Christmas really do Smiley but I can't really see valid reasons why btc go up due to a small event yesterday lol.
We have seen twice in a row on where btc doesnt even react on that Christmas event. Its all just coincidence and theres no such thing about precise tagging of events for it
to be relied on when we do speak about price increase.

We have witnessed recently on Valentines day event that theres no significant movement even on the said occasion. This is why its not really that good for us to tag it
up everytime.

Well it has no connection because valentine's day is not a crypto event that most of us look forward.

However if someone sell their bitcoin to buy gift for their loved ones or otherwise it will somehow create a small impact for the price.

But just like what I have said there's nothing special in crypto world during this particular day hence whatever the price of btc for the past years its just a coincidence.

Bitcoin price has no effect on Valentine's Day  Because the price of bitcoin has no effect on it and no people and government can control bitcoin  This is a coincidence Bitcoin is usually sustained depending on the market conditions. We are investing in a volatile cryptocurrency and yesterday is not something that would affect the price of Bitcoin.

Despite the changes that happened in the past, it is just a mere coincidence that it happened at that time. Valentine's Day is not the time where whales or big investors buy a lot of BItcoin and there is this certain time that they will be dropping them off. It might be possible but whales don't do things like that, what they are doing now is just changing their wallets every now and then.

Not everyone is celebrating Valentines and I don't really think it affects Bitcoin price. There's other reason of the increase but not really nor directly related to Valentine's Day at all. Valentines is more on buying chocolates, flowers and gifts so I can't really find the correlation between the two.  Unless most of us were using Bitcoin or crypto on buying those gifts, but no. I can't really say that it's because of Valentines because for the past days and weeks, bitcoin's price is increasing and it just happened that it also increase the same day with Valentines.

How do you guys even come up with this kind of comparisons? It is really hilarious! This is just a total coincidence. Instead of saying price rises every valentines day, you can also think of it like this, every beginning of the year, the price of crypto currencies starts to rise. This would make more sense.
You don't have to always find weird reasons when bitcoin starts to rise. Wouldn't be surprised if someone now asks if the price rise is due to recent corona virus outbreak.

What a stupid question! I just wait to see the question "how the sunrise affects Bitcoin price?".
It's really hard to understand that anyone who is seriously involved in Bitcoin would pose such a question or really think there is any connection between Bitcoin price and Valente's day. This makes me laugh.

There's nothing wrong with asking some questions about the event if it will affect bitcoin or not. In some ways, I'm pretty sure that even a little, it has an effect to the market. Due to the Valentine's Day, demands in some goods will increase its demand and bitcoin can be used in some transactions so they will experience less hassle. If you don't want this kind of question, it is still your choice if you will ignore it or post about it. Mind your own business and people here wants to learn more and be updated about the happenings in the market and bitcoin.

Technically, Valentine's day is just a normal day in crypto. No direct effect nor impact.

Around 9% growth within a day is normal even on a bearish market. We are currently on a bit uptrend so expect an increase day by day. It just happened that the continuous growth passed the Valentine period making you to believed that this event correlates on how the price behaves.

Well, nothing wrong if you will believed in that and look at that situation as positive. We are saying these things to enlightened you.

Regardless of Valentine's Day, is a 9% price change considered an impressive change that leads you to believe that that day is special? If the answer is no, then Valentine's Day has no effect else we are exchanging the longest Valentine days.

Such occasions do not affect the price, because many do not think about it seriously, and the exchange of gifts will not constitute a change in the balance of supply and demand and therefore no change will occur.

I predict a $2000 rise before 00.00 UTC.

What could be more romantic than starry eyed lovers across the globe handing each other strings of letters and numbers on scraps of paper?

Millions of babies will be conceived tonight and each of them will receive 1 BTC. The price could be bid up to several million dollars in December in a rush to obtain one for all of them.

Nothing.

Bitcoin wasn't just putting a massive increase since 2015 but also earlier than that. All of what's happening right now is due to the rebound that we're seeing even before valentines day. I don't think that there's really something interesting during this day.

There's more to think of than this day.

I don't quite see how this has anything to do with each other. It's just a normal day for trading.
Perhaps today there will be extra pay option, payment being made with feelings instead of money. Just so, in the spirit of Valentine Grin

Only traditional merchants would enjoy and reap the benefits of the said event and not crypto traders or even the forex markets. There's no such correlation between an event which celebrates the life of a saint to a market of pure speculation and whatnot. Any price changes that happened within the day of February 14 is natural, and is happening all year round no matter the occasion.

It's funny how every little event is being connected to bitcoin and its market movements. People are really naive to think that everything is connected to bitcoin at this point in time just because it is already big.

My answer to your question is no and how you did conclude that Valentine's day has a connection to the price of bitcoin. Valentine's day is just the same as any other day the only difference is that people are focusing on how they will show their love into their loved-ones. To be honest, it's my first time to see a question regarding bitcoin and Valentine's day. I'm pretty confident that this month of February will give us more profit due to the slowly increasing of bitcoin on the market. Lastly, it just more on coincidence and there's no totally connection between bitcoin and valentine's day.

Valentine's day is a time for business, this way more and more buying and selling of products cause increase in circulation of the market. Last year the market wasn't that good during the days around the valentine's day. More the circulation more will be the growth. As this year halving is fast approaching the market is showing positive response on growth.

What a stupid question! I just wait to see the question "how the sunrise affects Bitcoin price?".
It's really hard to understand that anyone who is seriously involved in Bitcoin would pose such a question or really think there is any connection between Bitcoin price and Valente's day. This makes me laugh.

People who celebrate valentines day mostly doesn't aware of the existence of crypto currencies because they were teens or young generation people who thinks they can love someone forever. Cheesy So the price effect is just pure speculation from the traders just like other days.

It is always that it is just a coincidence. The price of bitcoin now had a good run starting this month. It goes back to a 5-digit price and now staying there. If every year that happens, we could conclude that it really has a good effect on the price but there are those years that it did not happen so we can say that it is just a coincidence.

Let me tell something that you have never considered before : Not everything has an affect on bitcoin price. I know its hard to consider for some people because they think bitcoin price is affected by almost every single thing on earth, but its really not. Same people came here talked about Corona virus and how it will affect bitcoin because China was a big player in bitcoin price bla bla bla, look at the price since the virus break out, it went up. So long story short there is nothing that affects bitcoin price, only people buying and people selling affects it and thats it, nothing else. Valentines day is not even that special, its not new years, its not christmas, its not chinese new year, its literally nothing regarding financial world.

Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies has been positive this past few weeks, so valentines day don't have any reasons on the changes on bitcoin's price, that is why it is just a coincidence that bitcoin have increased it's price this Valentine's day. I also think that bitcoinnalways collows the same trend every year that really helps every trader to make a strategy in watching the market charts

May be you are right but, 2020 valentine's day prediction - bullish by traditional markets analysts have extensively studied the day of the week effect as well as the effects that holidays such as valentine day has on the markets. In the case of stocks most studies identify abnornal returns occuring the day before the holiday rather than during the holiday or after..
