I think that Satoshi sells his stocks of coins anyway, but I am sure that from different wallets, so as not to attract the attention of crypto enthusiasts, because if at least someone finds out that he sold at least one bitcoin, there will be a boom around this deals, but it will have a positive effect on the course, a big question ...

At this point in time, I think Satoshi is either dead or waiting for the right moment to move his/her/their Bitcoin. It's probable that Satoshi is dead, considering that it's been a long time since we've last heard from him/her/them. What will happen with the dormant Bitcoins is a mystery. There's fear that the large stash of Satoshi's Bitcoin holdings could plunge the cryptocurrency's price over the short term. Whenever Bitcoin will recover after that, it's yet to be seen. Whales would probably buy as much cheap Bitcoin as they can, effectively rising the cryptocurrency's price on the market at a fast pace.

What's important right now is not Satoshi, but rather the longevity of Bitcoin as a decentralized cryptocurrency for the world. As long as there's a community supporting it every step of the way, there should be nothing to worry about. At this pace, it seems to me that Bitcoin will last for many years. This wouldn't be possible if Bitcoin was a centralized cryptocurrency like other failed projects before it (Ecash, Bit Gold, etc.). With or without Satoshi, Bitcoin will be here to stay. Just my opinion

For me, if satoshi were to sell all of the 1 million bitcoin that satoshi has, I am sure that the whole crypto market and community will panic because since that would be the biggest dump of prices in the bitcoin's decades worth of history.

I think if that's true, it's not fully decentralized bitcoin, and I think it's a bitcoin meltdown, the market could probably break down by up to 80% and should recover long enough maybe over 5 years if investors still believe, bitcoin is favored because of its true decentralized nature.

That would happen if bitcoin was still trusted after Satoshi moved bitcoin from his wallet. In fact, I'd rather believe satoshi has sold his bitcoins or satoshi lost access to his wallet. Why satoshi also does not appear maybe it will make him a fugitive because it will rival fiat.

Yes, it is unlikely to happen. However taking into consideration and making discussion will make us stay with proper plans if the unlikely incident happens. We can't get into conclusion on anything, because if there is none to take over his funds after his life the fund is useless and won't have any impact on the market. If sold the market will get boosted with the additional circulation.

I don't want to think about it, because it's unlikely to happen in reality.

If this really happened, Satoshi actually sold all his bitcoins, I am very sure, everyone will feel very disappointed ,, everyone will go to find him ,, but I don't think that's possible, because Satoshi has been here for 13 years ,, Satoshi will always be loyal to botcoin ,, and will never sell or move to another.

Indeed, those who have a lot of bitcoins now, they will suffer. The bitcoin price is clearly going to fall. But many, including myself, will be purchased at a low price. And eventually bitcoin will grow again.

I agree with you there mate. Since Satoshi is the developer and founder of Bitcoin it has a great possibility that bad thing will happened if he sells his Bitcoin. But I don't think Satoshi will sell his Bitcoin or if he will, there still someone who can work like him or much better at him. I was imagining maybe they train someone who can replace to him if ever he decided to sell his bitcoin. He will sell it to someone he trusted so much. I was trying to be optimistic here.

- Satoshi's strong point is not that he holds a large amount of bitcoin when you are right that today too many whales have massive amounts of bitcoin to manipulate, the strong point that we should clearly see is his reputation, Elon Musk's case also shows how the value of fame can affect the market. I don't think such a drastic impact will be experienced if Satoshi moves his bitcoin. There were more whales who hold a big volume of bitcoin on their wallets. Often we can see big volumes getting moved from specific wallets. It can be of selling or towards something else. Does that makes any big impact over the cryptocurrency market. So, there might be small disturbance which will correct itself within short time period.

If this happens I'm sure all bitcoin holders today are starting to experience tremendous unrest including me I think I will be very nervous about this.
because if this happens I think Satoshi is killing his career in bitcoin that he has been running so far.

If Sathoshi ever thinks to dump his coin in the market then it could crash Bitcoin market with huge margins and it will require liquidity in the market and buyers to buy at that particular prices.He holds 1 million Bitcoin which value more than $61 billion at average price of $60k in the market.He has not move his coin since 2011 after his disappearance from this forum so we might assume that he did not want to sell his coins and has different motives other than profit staking and make btc global financial tool until he reached his goal.But these are only our assumptions based on past facts but we can't predict future exactly so who knows what Sathoshi is or will be doing in future.Concentrate on your work and be your own king.

this is going to cause a huge red alert in the market and everything will tank because major holder also will likely sell. thats what happened LTC owner sold some years back. i really hope it dosent happen because satoshi will have had many wallets that is not monitored where he can easily sell if he is still alive of which am sure he is. might be preparing another huge innovation.

If Satoshi comes out of his anonymity and sells all his Bitcoins I would be happy.
First,Satoshi is still alive.
Second,the Bitcoin price will drop,which means cheap Bitcoins for everyone.
Third,the 1M Bitcoins,that Satoshi holds will be re-distributed across multiple small and medium-sized HDOLers,which means that Bitcoin price fluctuations will no longer depend on the decisions of one person.

depending on how much to sell. if there were only hundreds I thought there would be no problem. but if all the btc he has, it will create a scene in the market. it could be that the market crashes and the price of bitcoin falls very deep. there will be a dump not only for bitcoin but all crypto coins will experience it.

I don't know the exact amount of bitcoin that satoshi has. If he has more than a million BTC then he can cause bearish market trend anytime he want. I think he is a smart person, in my opinion he will not let his greed control over his mind, it seems that he will not destroy the market only for profit. For one, how will he be able to sell millions of Bitcoins overnight and get billions of dollars in one full sweep? His wallet share is very big and he will be having a hard time finding buyers that can give him the money that he wants. Unless he just withdraws at least a billion dollars or two out of it. Trust me Bitcoin would still be around in case he sells some of his.

Also he'd only lose by doing so. He'd get less fiat money for his coins because the market would crash severely. It would be a much better idea to simply sell the wallet private key to someone and let that person figure out how to liquidate these coins in their time.

Obviously, there will be a historical drop in the price of bitcoin, at the same time it will reformat the market - after all, sooner or later, these freed up bitcoins will be bought by someone. What are you talking? Satoshi nakamoto. I think if satoshi nakamoto sells its bitcoin then market just takes a correction. Because the bitcoin market now hits 2 trillion $ cap. So, it is not so easy for a single person to collapse the whole market. So, don't worry brother if satoshi nakamoto is selling bitcoin we are always ready for it.

No matter what Satoshi does with his/her/their Bitcoin, the community is big enough to make it rise again to its former glory. There are many whales, institutional investors, and average traders on the market constantly buying/selling Bitcoin. If there's a huge dump, prices will quickly rebound until the original threshold is reached. I doubt Satoshi would move his/her/their Bitcoin holdings since it would expose his/her/their identity to the public. Authorities will quickly trace the transaction with the hopes of discovering who Satoshi really is.

That's why for the sake of Bitcoin and the entire crypto/Blockchain space, it's best for Satoshi to remain "dormant" for the foreseeable future. What will happen with Satoshi's stash of Bitcoin in the long run is a mystery. As long as there's a community backing Bitcoin, there should be nothing to worry about. Just my thoughts

OP, at some point I believe that which we fear will happen. We don't expect Satoshi's 1million Bitcoin hodling to perpetually lie idle in a wallet if he were still alive. I believe there's a price limit he is targeting to sell off. Hopefully, he sells only bits when that time comes, and let that time not be now that Bitcoin is enjoying a jolly ride because that would do a lot of damage to the entire crypto market.

It is being discussed if he is alive or not. Once that happened, we would already have our answer. About what if he moves or sold his own creation, well we're gonna experience a lot of price rollercoaster for sure. Media will explode and put up that into the news for sure.

Fiat probably. The reason will surely outweigh why he will sell all his coin and perhaps request vaccines for a country he loves. It must be a terrible dump of the price of BTC and not only that Satoshi will be known. But I think after the dump there will be no reason now for the fud whether satoshi can dump again or not.

There are tons of altcoins to chose from these days. If you for some reason don't like BTC anymore for you think its not good as an investment anymore then you are free to choose which one.

Why would he sell bitcoins for something else? Does he want to change his current freedom for something controlled?

There will be a great challenges with bitcoin market, if Satoshi moves all his/her/their coins to  another address on the blockchain. And many bitcoin users will now know the real reality about his or her living and the particular place he/ she  is right now, which it can cause so many things against his or her life. Satoshi cannot move his/ her coins from bitcoin because he or she knew that something bad will definitely happen to the market and user's.

I think there will be another effect like whjat this Covid19 pandemic brings last year if Satoshi's Fund transferred or even converted into Fiat.

This is just my opinion, even though Satoshi moved his coins or sold them or even lost them, now the one who has full access to Bitcoin is the person who owns the coins. Because Bitcoin was created but nobody controls it. If my statement is missing, please correct it.

satoshi would not sell on the exchange all bitcoins at once, he would sell in parts and many people would be buying each dip precisely because they would be relieved to know that satoshi could never again destroy the market with his bitcoin, those satoshi bitcoins are a bomb in brain of many people and if he sold it would be a great relief to the market. and I doubt that he would sell everything in one go.

they will loose if they sell because  the price were dump by the time satoshi sells .

Exactly, not to mention that satoshi might not be only one person and that 1 million bitcoins were divided equally to the group that is satoshi. Maybe satoshi isn't going to really sell it but waits for the time when bitcoin is already at the peak and that bitcoin is already a widely used currency instead of just an asset. If in the rare case that satoshi did sold those bitcoins then probably the prices is going to go down in catastrophic levels.

It is more likely that people will also dump if Satoshi suddenly dump all his bitcoin. But if ever Satoshi will annouce that he/she is back and will not sell his bitcoins. Then I think it will become a factor of a sudden increase price of bitcoin.

One of the most unique strengths of bitcoin today is that it is not controlled by any authority, and it does not seem like Satoshi will easily let his identity be exposed. until this decade, bitcoin has grown very rapidly, many investors have handled a lot of bitcoin, so things will not be as bad as imagined. Moreover, the adoption of bitcoin is also getting wider.

Satoshi could be the richest person or group in the world then. But I don't think such thing will happen. And Satoshi will continue HODLing. We don't even know Satoshi is still alive though.

If that huge chunk of coins we believe are tied to satoshi were to be sold today , well look at it this way, you know how we humans are and FOMO...if news got that Satoshi moved/sold his stash herd mentality will follow and many would sell but as of today we have institutions trading so they would be happy to buy these coins as this would allow them to easily control the market.

Yeah, it depends on the amount of bitcoin Satoshi is selling, can the amount be a such that will crash down the price of bitcoin? Imo, I'm thinking satoshi won't be selling his bitcoin now because he may not fill better with the current total volume bitcoin has generated so far with expectation to  e greater than other assets like gold and stocks.

If satoshi decided to sell his bitcoin this will cause a negative uproar for all the holders and will have a negative impact on cryptocurrency as a whole. I hope this is just mere speculation and will not come to possibility

In this situation, Satoshi could bring down the price if they want to, but I don't think that it would be completely devastating and irreparable. It could be an event leading to years of stagnation, but I believe Bitcoin would recover anyway. I also believe that if Satoshi decided to dump everything, they would do it via OTC deals because of the huge sums involved because dumping such sums on exchanges would be way harder and take more time and effort. In that case, the price wouldn't even change much because such deals aren't done on exchanges and thus the general demand and supply for BTC on exchanges remains the same. The only thing that would follow is some FUD, but that probably wouldn't have lasting effects on the price at all.

When Satoshi happens to move his coins it would cause panic across the market, imagine an overwhelming amount of bitcoin is being transferred that would surely get a lot of attention perhaps there would a panic sell may occur. If it happens he/she sells his stash it would totally bring the market down everything is in a bloodbath besides, I don't think the market will be able to accommodate this huge number. To put it simply, this could possibly destroy everything so I hope he had no intent to sell it.

I don't think this name satoshi just belongs to a single individual, but in reality this alias named after that identity was made in order to protect the anonymous being of the one who created bitcoin in the first place.
That's a huge loss for many holders if this man would decide to convert his wealth for physical money or even wipe out bitcoin from blockchain system. However, I believed that bitcoin doesn't belongs to a single person but rather to a group of whales who has the control over it. Before that certain scenario happens, decision making doesn't only begin by single approval but by individual agreement.

If some of Satoshi's estimated BTC980,000 coins show any sort of movement, then we can expect a bloodbath in the market. Despite the multi-billion USD daily trade volumes, I don't think that the market has enough liquidity to deal with an additional inflow of more than BTC10,000 in one day. As we have seen during the past few weeks, whenever a whale dumps a few thousand coins, the prices remain suppressed for many days. What that is the case, you can imagine how the market will react to the possibility of close to a million coins being dumped.

For sure Satoshi has a big amount of bitcoin in his portfolio and it would be a big disaster if ever he sells his all bitcoin, it will make a lot of people panic because bitcoin will really go down if this would happen, a lot of investors or hodlers will sell bitcoin as well but this thing would not be possible, he won't do such things that would suffer a lot of investors.
That's true and the tweeter's number one trend would be that news that will surely trigger a lot of people to sell their bitcoin as well because of the things that they may read on Twitter or any social media platform.

If the amount of bitcoin that Satoshi Nakamoto has can enter the market directly, then a special change can come in the bitcoin market.  By doing this, Bitcoin can declare income.  However Satoshi Nakamoto will not bring bitcoin directly to the market.  So it is better for us not to publish any extra controversial facts about Bitcoin.

I don't think Satoshi would want to destroy his own creation in the long run, since it would give more power to the banks. If he/she/they is/are still alive, it would certainly bring the attention of the whole crypto community. My guess is that people and mainstream governments will be after Satoshi once his/her/their identity is revealed to the public. Moving Bitcoins to another address will give the authorities the chance find who Satoshi really is. The sale of a huge stash of Bitcoin would certainly tumble the market for a short period of time. But everything will go back to normal, thanks to whales' market manipulation.

Nonetheless, we cannot deny that the risk factor of Satoshi selling his/her/their coins is always there. It cannot be ignored no matter what. The period of inactivity could indicate that Satoshi is either dead, he/she/they lost his/her/their private keys, or he/she/they is/are waiting for the right time to make the move. Who knows what will happen in the future as Bitcoin becomes more popular in the mainstream world? As long as Bitcoin remains decentralized and open source, nothing else matters. In the event Satoshi destroys Bitcoin, anyone could simple replicate the code to "revive" Bitcoin at any point in time. For now, let's focus on making Bitcoin better for a greater good. Just my opinion

Haha a very interesting question and I am surprised I am seeing this first time around. To be honest I am sure many bots and even people might be watching Satoshi's address like owls day and night for any activity. The very first thing will be the market's reaction. If the bitcoins are brought into exchange the moment the transaction is added to the chain you will see a massive dump in the market as people would think the creator of bitcoin has lost his trust in bitcoin which is why he is doing this.
Talking about manipulations. I don't think he needs any sort of manipulation to gain some extra bitcoins he already is pretty close to becoming the richest man on the planet.

It's an interesting thought. Will people rush in to buy bitcoins knowing Satoshi's 1.1 million BTC stash is gone for good? Or will it take some time before it affects the market? There's always a catalyst for a crypto bullrun like the halving every four years. A Saoshi burn could disrupt everything.

It's of course entirely possible that satoshi may one day come back and or could simply dump all of his coins.  Now in my humble opinion that is never going to happen, however who knows.  The other thing that I think people seem to forget or perhaps not even realize is that Satoshi likely had countless wallets.  We know of one of his wallets for sure, but who's to say he didn't have many more? Of course he did.  If Satoshi is alive he's definitely using bitcoin, just other coins from other wallets.

The number of bitcoin Satoshi owns is probably greater than the amount the whale owns so it is very possible that if they were all sold, the price would dump dramatically. Previously, we have seen the price of bitcoin can fall by more than 15% in 24 hours without Satoshi's involvement in the market, how is it that we will not see a decrease of more than 50% if that Satoshi is involved?

I do not think this will happen, these coins are the intangible value of Bitcoin, although they obviously exist but certain investments are not only reflected in a physical value, it is like having insurance and never using it, the feeling of security is not quantitative.

In any case the possibility exists, so if any movement happens it is an "insurance" to the good action in favor of bitcoin and its users and not with intent to manipulate or for profit.

Someone who was able to create bitcoin can surely have income through other ways, even from the same bitcoin (other unknown or suspicious addresses).

There would be mix reaction some would be thrilled because they know that Satoshi has come back into crypto,

In the case of satoshi just selling bitcoin then the price would drop considerably due to the panic but it would not drop by more than 25% and the price would recover later

Definitely, the prices are going to plummet but the problem is what would satoshi get when he dumped all the bitcoins together because you can't just sell that if I am right, the prices is definitely going to plummet if the 1 million dump is going to happen.

There could be a dumping but not gonna last forever, there are always some people who gonna buy it at the bottom and I might be setting buy order at the bottom as well. most of people are being too paranoid anyway thinking that if satoshi really dumps his coin it's the doomsday of bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general but if satoshi was really intended to do such thing, he might as well have done it years ago.

On a serious note, if Satoshi were to ever come back and take a look at the communities, riches and industries that his contribution spawned; he'd probably be quite interested in having a more than significant role in the future. He wouldn't be selling any of those coins than necessary. He'd probably enjoy being a benevolent dictator. I would even like to fancy that he'd "airdrop" some to all the forum contributors.

He will be either to dumb (which he is not) to sell all his coins at once since price will dump maybe under 10.000 coins so by the time he would get to 100.000 coins price will cripple since there will be no enough liquidity on the exchange. No one sells bunch of coins at once. So We assume he is smart guy (which he is) and if he wants to sell he will go in waves of small quantities in longer period of time on different exchanges. Which will not be felt by the market at all since market is liquid on this level.

Vitalik Buterin can sell 500k of Ethereum and Satoshi can't. That will the damnest sad story of the world if ever it will happen.
First thing is Feds will try to dig every bunker or any hole looking for him.  That's what I am mostly worried about.

IMO, value won't drop that high. High possibility it will be the other way around.
With news going viral Bitcoin will be in its highest demand even with the expensive price.

Depends on how big he sells the Bitcoin. If it is a small number, it won't make people panic. But if it is a big number of Bitcoin, indeed people feel worried it probably to dump the Bitcoin price significantly. I think it is the same matter if a whale moves their Bitcoin from his private wallet to an exchange wallet, it only can bring impacts if it is a big number.

Only panicking people will sell, a professional or experienced holder won't be affected by that issue.
Moreover, for a long term holder, they won't care with a such issue. The impacts only happen temporarily.

I'm surprised it's this late in the thread and no one has mentioned the other question, which is what will happen (and what will people think) if Satoshi decides to BURN his coins?

It'll set panic in a lot of people i guess. It's not gonna kill BTC but a lot of people will sell it too. That would be interesting to see but i don't think it's gonna happen.

Why would he do such a thing? What's the point for a person, who put so much time and effort into creating something so genius and unique in destroying it? And I think Satoshi has enough profit anyways , so he wouldn't do that for money's sake. Plus for a person like that ideology is far more precious than money.
Also, such a drastic change in price would attract A LOT of attention, many people (including me) would love to use this opportunity to buy Bitcoins, so, in a time, the market would go back to normal, I guess.

If he does that, we'll know for sure that it was him. That is provided that the movement is massive and involves him moving thousands upon thousands of his collected bitcoins. On the upside, this will induce circulation since sleeping coins are reinstated back into the market to facilitate more transactions in the future. On the downside, this will mean that bitcoin will dump in value and may take time before it can recover from its former price.

There are provably big news will happen even if the amount move is so little since imagine for so many years he moves his coin and sell off. Maybe this could start a fear that Satoshi is dumping or maybe others will be happy to see that since Satoshi is showing a sign of life which we didn't see before. But seems this will not happen for now as no sign or fuds showing about this.

According to expectations, Satoshi could have mined about a million BTC in the first months of his invention of Bitcoin, this is equivalent to the current price of Bitcoin about $ 62 billion, this is a very huge number Satoshi has become one of the largest rich people in the world now because expectations say that he keeps these quantities until now .
If Satoshi thought to sell these huge amounts of bitcoin that he owns, it would certainly cause a dramatic drop in the bitcoin price because the supply will increase dramatically in exchange for demand, but I expect Satoshi to be wiser than to do this foolish act and cause great harm to his spoiled bitcoin who invented it. By himself.

Im not worried either, any correction in the market if Satoshi moved or sold
Bitcoin would only be temporary as buyers snap up cheap Bitcoin while others
panic and sell.

This question is very common, everyone is curious that Satoshi Nakamoto may one day sell all the Bitcoins of his holding and cause a dump in the Bitcoin market. Did Satoshi Nakamoto create Bitcoin to destroy it with his own hands! I sincerely believe that Satoshi Nakamoto will never sell all his Bitcoins together, he is a talented man and as well as a kind-hearted human so he is the most trusted person in this community. I think Already he has made a lot of profit by creating/mining Bitcoin and if he ever decides to sell his held Bitcoin, he will make the right decision.

It would be surely be noticed right away when these coins do make out some movement neither on having a simple transfer to a new wallet or moving those funds into an exchange
considering the number of coins that had been moved then this will really be creating some sort of panic if it turns out that those coins were sold but i highly doubt that
Satoshi would make out such step and if he do really like for his creation to rise up that high then that sort of trust that he would put and wouldnt make out any sell
is likely to happen.

     And again, satoshi's name is being murdered lol. I wish people would just let the guy be at peace inwatching where his creation goes. The guy clearly doesn't want any involvement in bitcoin anymore or is already dead so just ket the name rest.

     But on a serious note though, just to oblige, if a scenario such as what you are saying really does happen then I think it is only natural to see a huge crash in the price of bitcoin and would be long before it recovers. But it sure will. Because there are already a lot of big names that are locked onto bitcoin it won't be that easy to get rid of it.

With how big the market has become, I don't think it would matter that much if Satoshi is to sell all of his coins right now. It would just be bought up by whales and organizations that are currently feasting on any coins that they can get. Plus, the small-sized owners of bitcoin would have some of the pot, too, if they do have the money to buy even just one bitcoin. But from the looks of things, I doubt Satoshi would come back and start selling his stash. It's either that the 1m+ coins he left are parting gifts to increase the value of bitcoin, or he simply doesn't care anymore as he achieved his aspirations.

That would be a flash crash.

It's a disaster for most that don't have the patience to watch the effect of it. And will push a lot of newbies and probably some experienced holders to sell because they might think that it's the end just like those days when bearish days.

But there go the institutions and for sure they'll be smiling while putting those buy orders while looking at the market by that time.

Although it's far much to unlikely it will happen, Satoshi might move some Bitcoin to another wallet but not all, and is very reasonable to think that he can have some-so many hidden unknown to mass number of people.

If there is a sell-off of bitcoin from any known wallet of his and the amount sold are much I think even I will try to understand why that had happen, but still this is his property we talking about here, and he may be criticized though but as in his anonymous style may not be bothered.

If Satoshi sells his bitcoin the price will go way down.  At that time folks should buy as much as they can afford because the price will go right back up in a few years to where it is now or even better.  This is MHO.

Keep in mind that if the bitcoin supply is higher than the demand, the price will go down. This is the easiest scenario to guess what would happen if there were a lot of discarded bitcoins on the market. IMO, if satoshi is really alive then I'm not sure he really want to sell all those bitcoin. There are great options instead of selling all of his asset and I think he can still sell some of them and adopt bitcoin in his new business. It seemed that this choice was not sufficient to influence large-scale price reductions.

It is hard to imagine but such scenario only bring awful consequence.  A father sells his own sons will cause people in panic.

But in reality, Nakamoto will never do that, I guess. He has created bitcoin for the sake of humanity and decentralization. Then, he chose to live outside the stage and let bitcoin a vast space to perform. More than 10 years since bitcoin was created  and that is enough for him to observe how bitcoin has changed the world.

As it seems most likely that these bitcoins will not move, since they have not moved in all this time, I wonder what is the reason. I can see three reasons:

1) Satoshi is dead
2) He doesn't care about the money or doesn't need it. His creation is somewhat superior to the personal profit he could make.
3) He lost the keys.

2) it is more difficult to believe, there are not many people like that in the world, although there are some. Also in this case it would be normal to think that he is not going to give the keys to anyone and that when he dies, no one will have access to those keys, if he has not already destroyed them.
3) It is also hard to believe, but it is not impossible.

In any case, I think we can consider those Bitcoins as lost as the most likely scenario.

Satoshi could have done that any time in the past decade, but didn't. This isn't something I worry about, and even if it would happen, it would just be absorbed by the market.

Remember what happened when the BearWhale dumped 30,000 Bitcoin in a limit order? This happened:

In a few hours, many Bitcoin owners increased their stash. The more whales sell, the more smaller users get to own.

Satoshi does not needs to sell the coins to create the panic in the market, just moving his coins alone will send panic warning to the entire market and we will see a major correction even if he moves the coins from his known wallets and that is the influence of the creator and the coins he is holding.
I hope we will not see that situation anytime soon, if he wants to move he would have already done that and we have not seen any signs as of yet.

Certainly this  would be terrible. There is no reason for him to do that, unless he would like to expose himself or to damage bitcoin.

If he moves his BTC people would be sure he is alive and doing something. Many people would start tracking him.... 

I believe that if Satoshi revealed himself the outcome would be terrible. He would become something like a bitcoin CEO, things would start to go centralized on him... at least politically speaking.

I doubt he would ever do something like that.

One of the things that makes bitcoin amazing is that it is growing without any central authority. Nobody controls it.

obviously this will cause unstoppable unrest. after all, our belief over the years in the existence of bitcoin is one blood. So if Satoshi did it for the sake of ending the journey of nearly 13 years, it would be a waste, maybe he would kill us in the market and lose all our assets. but instead he will be hunted down by all parties and that involves millions of people.

I really did not expect it, and you certainly do not really agree with it.

Remember how people reacted when Charlie Lee announced that he sold all of his LTC? People had mix reactions and those who didn't like what he did most likely sold also. It's possible that we will see the same market reaction. People have gotten used to whales moving BTC worth millions of dollars but it's different if it's Satoshi. Too many curious cats monitoring his wallet.

What you ever wondered what will happen with Bitcoin once Satoshi moves his/her/their coins to another address on the Blockchain? While most people are focused on other aspects of Bitcoin, they haven't realized that one day Satoshi could decide to dump all of his/her/their coins for profit. Or he/she/they could decide to manipulate the market with the huge stash of coins. This will certainly bring the attention of many crypto enthusiasts as recent network activity could indicate that Satoshi is still alive.
