My question is, after eveyrone is online, can the blockchain continue? Everyone just turns on their computer and continues working?

Every full node has a full copy of the block chain.
Once internet is back on nodes will begin again communicating and miners will start adding blocks to the chain.

The only drawback is that somebody might take advantage of the low number of full nodes and try a sybil attack.

Where is the blockchain stored? I always imagined it as an online spreadsheet that miners all over the world are "hacking"
Could it be easily reset once everyone got back online?

Miners are not "hacking" they are just adding blocks with transactions to the chain.
There is no reset. It will continue from the last transmitted block.

I don't think that it is a "physically" stored somewhere because everyone can see this since it is an open source program.

You are a senior member and you think that?
So that information you see with those block explorers, where does the data come from?

Spin off from a similar thread. People were mostly replying how the bitcoins would be safe in the allet and how it would be the least of our problems if the internet was turned off

But I am asking what would happen to the blockain , so the trasnaction control.

If all mining cumputers were cut off the connection, what would happen to it?

Could it be easily reset once everyone got back online?

It is not that miners are hacking it but to have a good and simple explanation, better imagine the blockchain as a good and clean road and think of the miners as an checkpoint and checks the vehicles that use the road if they are allowed to drive or to get through them. But, they don't really use that road but it is just like a list of the transactions that is being sent.
Is it physically stored anywhere, or just online?

What would happen to it if the internet was turne off? Could it be continued normally?

Blockchain is just a continuing list of transactions, the bitcoin address and the time stamp of that transaction that takes place. Everyone can see that transaction list. I don't think that it is a "physically" stored somewhere because everyone can see this since it is an open source program. That is obvious that if the internet is shut down, you can't send bitcoin, obviously there will be no added block in the block chain.

Yes. Lots of people have a copy of the entire blockchain. You could get a copy too. Try using Bitcoin Core.
