My thoughts, for what they are worth.

CPU mineable, POW plus POS, reasonable, sustainable POS rate, around 10% or less per yer.
Perhaps a variable, cyclic POS rate.

My reasoning here is that a Whale could pass his money on to his children and they might never need to work.
If someone is that lucky, good for them, but as a general rule, we must contribute something to society.
So for example, a POS rate that works as a sine wave, over a period of 20 years, with a peak rate of 10% going
down to a lesser figure (not necessarily zero)

Thus someone with a large holding, can live off those savings, but, 20 yrs in the future, might either have
to start eating in to the capital, or, seek employment for a few yrs.

Sorry to be such a Bolshevik and forcing everyone to work  Grin  but I think it's an interesting idea.

I don't think people should need to work 5 days per week, for 50 yrs of their life, life should be about pleasure and spending
most of your time doing what pleases you, with your friends and family, and we could have this, if we were,nt all
enslaved to the debt based fiat ponzi scan that is the central banking system.

CPU only mining so as to allow the little guy (IE me) to get in and create some of these coins.

Timed transactions, so I can pass on an inheritance to my children, say, 1% of some capital holding, per week (or number of blocks)
for 50 yrs (or Y  blocks) beginning in 10 yrs (or Z Blocks)

Anonymity of transaction, like Monero or Dash etc.

Warp wallet (secure brainwallet) so that holdings can be secured (in your head) with a password.

Release period over say 25 yrs, in that time, the coin has either been a success or will have died anyway.

A POW facility like Gridcoin / Boinc so that as well as securing the network, we are actually contributing
computing power to benefit humanity as a whole.

Ok, that's about all I can think of right now, Gotta go to work  Undecided
