Apologies, I've forgotten the correct name so I can't google it anyway Cheesy

Back in March and also featured in the recently released doc, The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin, there was that one guy who made the physical coins with the "holograph" stickers. In March, I read a thread on here somewhere that he was selling them to people.

What's the story with them?
Whatever became of them?
Are they still available and if so, where would we pick some up?
If not, why not?

Also, what were they called/how spelled?

Those were so cool. I'd love to have some.

Thanks!

I think you're referring to the casascius (sp?) physical bitcoins. The guy making them got too big too fast and I think the feds started poking their noses into his business, so he stopped producing the coins. You can find people selling them in the goods section, although I think demand for them is dropping.
