Can DAPPs like prediction markets help bridge this gap, and make it easier for first time traders to speculate on financial assets?
Possible but not always a reliable thing for you to stick on and theres no such thing about being easy when it comes to predicting markets.

I know this article is sort of a shill, but it raises a good point that I think warrants a larger discussion.

Actually shorting stocks, or even simply trading them requires some learning and reading, and the average person might get scared away. But products such as the one advertised in the article, seem like a good hybrid product that are not too complicated for first-time traders to use.

Can DAPPs like prediction markets help bridge this gap, and make it easier for first time traders to speculate on financial assets?

Will making the trading experience easier, make traders 'lazier'?

Is the point of complicated interfaces and industry jargon to dissuade casual traders who will not take it seriously?

Hope everyone reads the article, I am excited to hopefully start a meaningful discussion!
